Doctor Who:
I think that best way of helping is making some sort of mock battle with detailed info on how to act and use the commands and some specific tricks (such as how we "view" or search the top cards). Also, we should mention that some cards have automatized effect (such as QW, grade 3 searchers).  It took me some time to understand how play cardfight capital (I don't have any memories from there. I travel alone only.) and same was with all other games of such type (KCVDS...good memories, DN and YGOPRo took a while to get used to.)
