Get your priorities straight, mister.

It's okay. He thinks he knows something here and he's just trying to alter his position here. It's okay, im not mad or anything, it's mostly funny, since he thinks i abuse and am stupid and whatnot. It's just an attitude you ahve in some part of your life. It'll pass him, hopefuly.
NextGenNick:
Alter my position here? no, my position here doesn't mean anything to me just yet, when it starts getting a bit more active and a bit more competitive I'll join in, play nice and what not, even with Devour.
Devour, you had a problem with me the moment I joined, I wanted to create some rivalry magic and make it a bit more lively, your mod position has gotten to your head and I'm bored of you now, I raise some valid opinions and you say I am trying to insult you or believe you are stupid?
No, CFVA does/did have a better attitude, that competitive vibe, it made you want to win and strive to get better, the reason it died/is dieing is the lack of staff to organise tournaments, which is a large problem here, maybe if you appoint 3-6 tournament hosters responsible for weekly and monthly tournaments a competitive vibe will kick of here, that is a problem in the academy only 2 people where in charge of hosting and it didnt work out due to one lacked in ability and the other was away a lot.
Now to the layout, as I said, the site is not easy on the eye, it is unappealing and unattractive, I know and understand you don't see this as a problem so I'll make it easy for you: Kiera Knightly and a obese manly looking woman both approach you and offer to sleep with you, naturally you'll choose Kiera Knightly as she is more appealing and attractive, they may both be of equal skill in the bedroom, the unattractive woman may be better and have a better potential but Kiera still looks better. A nice, attractive and easy to use layout keeps people active.
I would actually like to thank you Devour, if you where not so plain, boring and generally hard on for the rules I wouldn't of got bored and put a slightly better explanation down.

That's actually not a bad idea. I'll just ignore you trying to provoke me, since, i don't fall for that. But thanks for the great idea. Even though people are welcome to host tournaments any time, they don't seem to do so.
About the competetive part of this, it exists. Not so big as it was on Cardfight Capital, but that's mainly because there's more people here and they change names on a daily basis because they do some really stupid stuff which includes cursing, cheating, etc.
On another note, i'd like it if you stopped blaming me for whatever problems you've. I didn't have a problem with you, nor do i intend to have a problem with you. It's my job to eliminate inadequate comments in sections i moderate. That's it. I value your opinion, but i don't intend to act on my own accord to do something to either support it or fight against it. And if you think being a moderator has gotten to me, well that just means you don't know me. Don't judge a book by its covers, dood. If you wanna know me, be nice to me and i'll be nice to you. Simple as that. ;)

As I said, it's not that I have a problem with you, I saw this forum fading on life support so I decided to put on a show, be a necessary evil, it's what I do best, I saw your team and played on words to create some sparks to ignite some team wars and what not.
And I agree with the name changes, sadly I am one of them, but lately it has been a mix of NickInHD or NextGenNick, of you see [v]____Nick, it's me. What we did on CFVA to counter that is have a forum name and host via challonge, whatever you put down as your name on challonge, when the tournament starts you use that name, so for example:
User: NextGenNick
Challonge: Nikorasu xii (caps somwhere in it)
IGN: [v]NextGenNick
granted you can change your name on Challonge but you'd write that down on the part of challonge.
The problem with anybody hosting tournaments is simple: not a lot of people can be arsed to do it, like myself right now, whereas if you appoint people to host, they host. For example if you said to me "Hey Nick, can you do me a favour and host a weekly tournament?" if I agreed I am stuck to doing that really and I'd host every week as that would be my job.
I suppose first things first: new layout, everything else is secondary until you change the layout.
Devour:
I know how it's hosted. And i also know it's better when you have that permanent name on some sort of a secondary program. For example, on CFC it was like this:
IGN: [XF] Devour
Byond key: Darkness_Devour
Deck: Neo Nectar
Timezone: GMT +1
But well, enough about tournament hosting, that's not what this topic's about. o.o
