Regalia of Twilight, Hesperis & Regalia of Purity, Pure Angel Combo
(1/1)
colonel830303:
Requirements: At least 3 souls, one of them must be Regalia of Twilight, Hesperis
How it works:
Basically first call Pure Angel to RG and CB1 to give your VG 5k boost. After that attack with VG. If it hits, SB3 and activate Hesperis's skill to retire 1 enemy's RG.
Isn't the timing too late?
No, it isn't. According to the Comprehensive Rules in CFV:
7.6. Damage Step:
7.6.1.2. Compare the power of the attacking unit with the power of the attacked unit. If the attacked unit’s power is less than or equal
to the attacking unit, then the attack hits.
7.6.1.4. Resolve a check timing. Automatic abilities with the timing "when attack hits" do not become stand by at this point. They will become stand by in 7.6.1.9.
7.6.1.9. Resolve a check timing. Abilities with "When attack hits" activate at this point. After completing all actions in the check timing, advance to the close step.
Since both Pure Angel and Hesperis's skills activate at step 7.6.1.9, you may choose to activate Pure Angel's skill first to SB3 and give your VG Hesperis's skill and retire 1 enemy RG.

ヤタ:
Useful to know. With Minerva, you can pull this off, and then Soul Blast Norn with Minerva's cost for more power and more rear-guard removal. In Yggdrasil it can be a nasty surprise, and salt in the wound if you hit with a powered-up Nyx.
