New Rule

Hello there guys. I want you to vote for add one new rule to the tournament.
1. OTK decks are forbidden.
So for those who don't understand what it means - One Turn Kill.
So, there are some strategies that focuses one one strike or turn that will win the cardfight. I am not reffering to breakrides turns but to such strategies as Sin Buster + Daikaiser + Laurel, World End, or decks that focuse way to much on control.

Nope. Specially with strides coming i think for good or bad all decks will be Semi-OTK decks.

I don't agree with this at all. If that person happens to be able to win due to what one would consider an "OTK deck," then they deserve the win because those decks tend to be incredibly poor in comparison to decks that thrive around winning the game naturally. Especially in the case of something like Sin Buster + Daikaiser, since not only do you need to be able to find Laurel but you also need to find Daikaiser before Sin Buster. Too many things go wrong with those decks to warrant them being an actual threat.

Also lol @ World End being considered an OTK deck.

World End may not be an OTK but it is a win that doesn't require dealing 6th damage (aka instant win.) As for the strategy I brought up as an example is clearly an OTK. It clearly focuses on one turn to deal at least 4 damage. As for the ways it can go wrong: those decks usually max out the cards they need including Laurel. I have rarely seen something go wrong with such decks. I have played it against it and with it. Those are the key units and they usually come when they need to come.
 There is a fine line between a deck that is focusing a lot on offensive and a deck that is designed to win the fight in one turn and it is not that hard to see it.

So I'm assuming you mean to exclude Spike Brothers Legion decks as well, since that's an OTK strategy. Actually almost all spike brothers are OTK strategies, so that clan as a whole is gone.

I can understand your annoyance with OTK decks, but at least, unlike in yugioh, the set up for OTK's is so erratic and uncontrollable that most players will find it hard to pull off well without taking huge risks. The risk reaps the reward, if a person wants to play that risk game, I say let them.

Decks that should be removed are self stand, superior persona ride, and glory skill legion decks. Except a select few, such as Tetra Drive Dragon, Self stand decks are "No Fun Allowed" deck. Same with Glory Skill Legion deck. They all operate around a boring and thoughtless strategy that just doesn't make for a fun fight, most of the time.

Personally i'm not a fan of forbidding anything, i for one understand you dislike of OTK decks such as SB, but i like Re-Standers. As much as a deck it's annoying for us, there's always someone who likes to play it. For me the only things that should be restricted are the truly broken cards, but so far i don't have much to complain about the banlist. The only thing i would add if i could is a laurel restriction.

Honestly I was just making the suggestion based on what people complain about the most. Restanding isn't an issue to me either. The only thing I personally don't like is the glory clones, because Glory is my baby and he deserved to stay special. But I'll live.

I'm just saying, if you want to start banning things, start with the most overused and generally unliked things. Daikaiser Sin Buster Laurel is unliked because it combines glory with restanding. But other OTK combos, like Spike brothers decks, shouldn't have to suffer over that.

as someone that uses glare i can tell you to expirianced played glory skill is not a problem, but cards like abyss and worse the ice ogre is a huge annoyance in the game unless you consentrate and luck in. for me i love games that have allot of back and forts that last like halve an hour to finish and i miss those days where most games are that between two people who have mastered the game. todays players all want to send in the abyss guy, the sing saver guy basiclly anyone that can sweep for em.

so yea its not the whole deck that needs to be limited its just one or two cards depending on the over usage.

With triple driving behemoths at hit 33-36 in decks that play 8-12 Criticals, you're worried about some inconsistent decks that barely otk or World End that can just be edged at 4 damage?

You can forbid these in your tournament. No need for the entire community to vote on it when their tourney rules are in their hands.

Thank the vanguard gods this will never happen.
This is basically asking to ban almost every variant of DP from tournaments which you know the answer to that.
Or the game will get boring really fast.
In any case OTK decks require to much set up in a lot of cases. And it won't even be proper OTK anyway since you should have damage by then.

This just sounds stupid and would turn the game into boring pile of mud.

Might as well ban all re-standing vanguards and anything that promotes locking or inability to guard with grade 1 +
