Hey guys, I'm here to show you how to make Shotgun Blow Dragon's skill more effective. Well, the reason I've done this is because no one seems to notice this guy and it has a lot of potential.
Grade 0:
Spark Kid Dragoon x1 (Starting Vanguard)
Brawler of Heavens, Youzen x4 (Critical)
Brawler, Plasma Kick Dragon x4 (Critical)
Brawler, Heavy Trailer Dragon x4 (Draw)
Brawler, Green Gem Carbuncle x4 (Heal)
Grade 1:
Brawler, Starting Dracokid x3
Brawler, Wild Cloak Dragon x3
Eradicator Wyvern Guard, Guld x3
Senkon no Brawler, Ark x3
Rising Phoenix x2
Grade 2:
Brawler, Youjin x3
Brawler, Skyhowl Dragon x2
Brawler, Wildfist Dragon x2
Militarism Brawler, Risei x4
Grade 3:
Brawler, Shotgun Blow Dragon x4
Eradicator, Ignition Dragon x4 (Break Ride)
Now I know what you guys are thinking, "Why did I put Ignition Dragon in that deck?". Well that's simple, It's there to minimize the opponent's choices of retiring his rear guards. And as to why I did not put that quintet wall brawler unit in there, it's just that I find perfect guards more effective. And now you're wondering why I chose Spark Kid Dragoon as the starting vanguard, well that unit is there to make this combo more possible. For example, you don't have a grade 3, then use his skill. When you have Ignition Dragon on hand, but you can't BR, then it's there for that too; and also vice versa.
I tested this out a lot of times, and this was the latest result:
Yeah, I know, NK vs GP, Semi-bad matchup right? But I had the perfect setup for the 5 rearguard retire combo.
Now here's the strategy. You have to at least to get at least 1 Youjin on the field and 1 ark. I know they won't maximize the power surge for ark but it'll do. The IDEAL setup here is that you have to have at least 4 damage, Ignition Dragon is your current vanguard, 1 Risei on the field, and in column with ark, 1 Youjin on the field and in column with another ark. If you wanna maximize Risei and Ark's killing potential, you have to wait until your opponent has 5 rearguards on the field. Remember, Risei and Ark can only get a power surge IF your vanguard is in legion.
Here is how it's gonna turn out with the ideal setup.
Your opponent has 5 rearguards.
1. Break Ride to Shotgun Blow Dragon.
2. Activate Break Ride Skill
3. Opponent chooses 2 rearguards and retires them (hopefully, they only choose 1 rearguard in the front row. If none, then that's actually better).
4. Perform Legion
5. Activate Youjin's Skill first BEFORE activating Shotgun Blow's Legion Skill.
6. Activate Legion Skill
7. Risei and the two Ark's get a power surge of 9000
8. The opponent now has an empty field.
And now, I have just presented to you an alternative for Knuckle Buster
