!!!READ BEFORE POSTING: Deck Discussion Guidelines and Rule Revision

(1/2) > >>

Cherry:
Since no one bothers to listen to Yata, it seems we have to be even more strict than before.

In accordance with the rules, everyone will now be put on a Two-Strike policy. If you get two strikes, your thread will be deleted, and it'll keep being deleted until you follow every guideline listed. Same goes for breaking the rules of posting replies in deck threads (as the Thread Creator). If your thread gets two thread strikes, it's deleted and you get one major strike. If it happens again, you get another major strike. Two major strikes equals a warning. Remember, five warnings equals a ban. If someone is causing trouble in your thread and you're playing no part in the fight, they'll get punished instead of your thread being removed.

This is effective immediately.

Your deck thread MUST include the following:
- All 50 Main Deck cards and Grade Ratios, along with 0-8 Generation Zone cards.
- Thread Title that contains the clan(s)(Yes all of them), central Grade 3, archetypes, and/or theme. (Putting a G Unit will no longer count because it doesn't explain anything.)
- At least three to five sentences explaining what your deck is supposed to do and explaining any personal techs (questionable cards standard builds would normally not play).
- A statement if your deck is illegal for standard tournament play. If it isn't, you MUST put [EF] or [Extreme Format] in your title (you do not have to include all your clans if it is three or more in this case.)

And if you are posting comments/suggestions in the thread, you MUST NOT do the following:
- Start any off-topic discussion that doesn't include the deck or techs it could have.
- "nice deck" or "looks good" posts that add nothing constructive to the discussion of the deck.
- Blatant insults that start fights and/or elitist arrogance (this also goes for the thread creation post as well).
- Make suggestions that would cause the deck to be tournament-illegal unless the deck is already in Extreme Format.
- For the TC; retorting suggestions and comments as attacks and/or outright refusing to so much as try any of them/not explaining why you don't want to with clear reasoning.

For the new Buddyfight Area, we will still use this same forum for your Buddyfight decks, however:
- The majority of the rules above apply for Buddyfight decks as well.
- From now on your threads MUST be labeled either [VG] or [BF]. This may be subject to change if the Buddyfight decks warrant a whole new Deck Discussion section.
- Decks must contain a minimum of 52 cards: at least 50 Main Deck cards, 1 Buddy, 1 Flag. Even if it's obvious.
- Put the World and central card(s) in your thread title. No, your Buddy doesn't count unless it's the main focus.

Just make your threads clear and you'll be fine.

Doctor Who:
*Ahem*
Cherry, even though it is extremely rare, there are Extreme format decks which clan limitations are off (I made a deck containing 7 clans, You do not expect me to list all of those clans. Even with labels, it would be way too long of a title) So therefore, I propose that there will be a rule that will say if your deck contains more than  x  number of clans,(I would reccomend 3 or more clans.) than the deck must contain EF label meaning it is Extreme Format deck and though, illegal in the regular tournament deck.

Cherry:
Rules adjusted for Extreme Fight Format.

Cherry:
Added few tidbits for Buddyfight Threads.

Possibly pooling for a Buddyfight Deck Discussion section to avoid clutter.

penguin90:
Sorry just a point about deck count in BF could you rephrase the "must contain 52 cards" to "must contain a minimum of 52 cards" since BF can have more than 52 cards in a deck unlike VG which must contain 50
