Team Masked Knights
- ET
- Dark Storm

- Blaster
- Atemus
Kasuna vs. [Hunter] ET - [1:0]
The team battle started with a showdown between Gold Paladins and Dimensional police. The fight started with some standard skill-linking such as Spring Breeze Messenger and Aglovale with Yoseph on Kasuna's end while ET had his Daikaizer up and ready to rumble, having the preperation needed to end the game very soon. However, it didn't work out as he planned as he was only able to ride another Daikaizer while Kasuna had pulled off 2 Legions of Percival, giving her the edge of the battle. The risk Kasuna had taken, no guarding a 3 critical Dryon with Daikaizer's BR skill and most importantly surviving it gave her the final edge to take the first game. Xiphoid Flare leads.
Kasuna vs. Black Storm - [2:0]
This was a fairly quick match that had an unexpected twist of events. Kasuna didn't have a chance to get a Grade 3 in this fight. Nevertheless, Storm's mistakes were his own doom as he overly attacked the rear-guards instead of rushing the Vanguard the entire time and it was only decided when he went all in, calling his Bry Knuckle on the field which he could've used to guard the enxt turn but he decided it was more important to skill-link Laurel and get a double twin drive. However, Kasuna outplayed him, guarding only the vanguard attack which gave her the opportunity to demolish Storm while still on Grade 2. Amazing feat.
Kasuna vs. Patrickzzz - [2:1]
Both players entered the game fairly well. Kasuna with her usual Paladin performance and skill-link and Patrickzz with a full Musketeer field. This game interests me particulary as Musketeers are being played and I shall talk about it fairly long. The first missplay I noticed on Patrickz' side was the extensive usage of hand to guard irrelevant units. Guarding Augusto with over 70k guard troughout the entire match is unnecessary, as he's easly replacable even if it hits for 21k with Mirkka. His legion usage was a bit shabby as he went for some interesting choices while returning and then proceeding to try and fill up his drop zone with more units which I don't think he should've returned at all. On the other hand, Kasuna played calmly until she did the ultimate mistake for which she had to throw the game, returning Percival with Zenith. After doing so and realizing what she's done (due to being annoyed at skype, which is why I say to only play the game, don't look at anything else), she no guarded what she could've guarded to repent for her 'sins', thusly giving the first point to Masked Knights.
[XF] Sayla vs. Patrickzzz - [2:2]
This was a match of fortune for both fighters. Sayla rushed fairly early with her Big Bangs, getting a double critical drive, bringing Patrickz to 4 damage early. However, Patrickz managed to get back on the horse with, if I may notice, another unnecesary act which didn't even bring him the legion that turn, but, it worked for him. Fortunately for him, he brought out a series of legion attacks ultimately getting a karma-filled double critical drive while Sayla was a 3 damage giving this team abttle a tie result midway trough it.
Yeager vs. Patrickzzz - [3:2]
Another match of Gold Paladins and Neo Nectars, only this time, it was Patrickz who was unfortunate. He didn't get a Grade 3 at all, as Yeager gave him no opportunity to do so. However, him not getting a Grade 3 is due to his own mistake as he rode Sylvia, superior calling Vera only to activate Kirah too late which resulted in him not getting a Grade 3. Yeager pulled of his combinations of Percival-Aglovale-Merron-Yoseph and of course Spring Breeze which resulted in another victory and a stop to Masked Knights turn-around.
Yeager vs. [MK Abyss] Blaster - [4:2]
Shadow Paladins versus Gold Paladins. An anime match-up.... or it would be if Blaster hadn't have misgraded. However, Blaster held on tight and hadn't given Yeager the opportunity to finish it quickly. He endured a series of 19k+ attacks but in the end, Zenith crushes the hopes of Shadows, Blaster and Masked Knights, giving joy to Xiphoid Flare, but mainly myself, of course.
Yeager vs. [MK] Atemus - [5:2]
Yeager started off fairly fine by superior calling Yoseph fairly early due to Aglovale which gave him a lead both in field and hand size. Atemus had everything ready for a barrage of attacks from his Raizers but he misplayed at a crucial point, if I may say so. It was courageous of him to give the Draw to his Vanguard when Yeager guarded for 2 to pass, and he was rewarded with another draw. However, he either forgot to skill-stand Phoenix Raizer FW which would be able to hit despite Yeager's double damage trigger. At that point Yeagers hand and his renewed field were ready to take out Atemus. The guards were enough until Yeager decided to finaly let loose with Zenith and his overwhelming skill which ultimately, along with a trigger which was fairly expected at that point gave the finishing blow to Atemus' defences.
FINAL RESULT: Xiphoid Flare wins [5:2]
Finaly, I'd like to thank Masked Knights once again for giving us an opportunity to have a fun Team Battle and we wish them all the best in the future. In the meantime, we've another team battle happening in aproximetly 20 minutes, so if you've no plans but to watch us fight again, be sure to visit the Southern Forest as Neo Genesis decides to tackle our domain.
Until the next report,
- Devour.

Hello fellow team members and other visitors. In today'd Xiphoid Flare daily I'll be reporting the team battle that occured yesterday but I wasn't able to post it as it would be a breach of my own rules, thusly illogical.
TEAM BATTLE REPORT
Team Xiphoid Flare
- Devour
- Kasuna
- Sayla
- Yeager
Team Neo Genesis
- Silver
- Misaka
- Mikado
- Xateramusa
[XF] Devour vs. [NG] Silver - [0:1]
This was a troughoutly one-sided match as I misgrode for 3 turns on Grade 2 and got no triggers what-so-ever, not to mention my Musketeer checks were terrible (but again, that was my luck that entire day). On the other hand, Silver played a good match, to be perfectly honest. He has complete mastery over his Spike Brothers despite the situation we, or rather, I was in. He displayed more than myself at the present time which brouth him and Neo Genesis the first match. Congratulations.
Kasuna vs. Misaka10032 - [1:1]
Kasuna played her usual Gold Paladins while Misaka played the Battle Sister legion deck. The early game was evenly matched. However, once Kasuna legioned it all went her way. The pressure of constant 20k guards made Misala lose her hand fairly easy despite her playing a hand-managing deck which was fairly stable, but it lacked a certain spark and thusly Kasuna wins with Percival as her victory muse.
[XF] Sayla vs. Mikado - [DENIED]
This was a very frustrating match, or rather, the follow-up was very frustrating. Sayla played Big Bang Knuckle tech while Mikado led up with Seekers. However, Mikado misrode, or rather, he hadn't have rode at all. He held up well until the time where he lost his hand. Seemingly it was our victory, as Sayla did in fact deal the final damage, but. A certain 3rd party told us that during this match Sayla "cheated" by drawin 2 cards in one turn. None of the rest have noticed, but we were given "proof" and of course, had the later part of this team battle have been different, the outcome of this would be different too, but we'll get to it. Main point, by proposing a rematch to Akira, we agreed it will indeed be held even if the "cheat" didn't affect the game at any time, as it was given who the voctor would be.
Yeager vs. Xateramusa - [2:1]
This match was in Yeagers control, since he used his well-tuned Gold Paladins while Xateramusa used Hyakki Vougue. The match itself was more of a lesson to Xatera rather than a team battle match as Yeager was indeed telling her what to do and why to do it / what not to do. There were some mistakes but that is one of the reasons to why we have team battles. Experience trough combat. I do hope Xatera didn't mind for the "lesson" and I certanly do hope she won't mind me writting it blatantly like this, since I don't mean harm. Either way, a fairly good match.
[XF] Sayla vs. Mikado - (REMATCH) - [2:2]
Mikado misgrode again but it didn't matter since Sayla got little to no useful triggers in her game. Her starting had was pretty much awful, judging by her story, and when Mikaod rode his Thing Saver Dragon, it was over as it forced the guard Sayla didn't have, thusly giving Mikado the win.
FINAL RESULT: Draw - [2:2]
Both Akira and I had decided that the team battle was a pointless sharade of mixing parties that had nothing to do with each other that were the cause of the undecisive result. I, myself, apologize for what happened, and I assure you, Sayla didn't mean to "cheat". I'm faily certain it happened to all of us, to draw a card by a mouse glitch, and sometimes you notice, sometimes you don't. Especially when it's the end of the turn and you stand and draw and the opponent decides he has skills to activate and whatnot and youd raw again by simply forgetting you had already drew. But anyway, I hope this doesn't ruin our friendly relationship and I sure do hope we will have many better ones in the future.
