Browser-based eat twice more RAM than the usual ones. My computer is somewhat decent (2 GB RAM, 2.2 GHZ) but I can assure that it can't hold up Youtube +2 very demnading tabs and on top of that the browser based version.

i like that i download the game because it means i can make new decks that i wanna test, when i am offline. and there is a saying named: " Never look a gift horse in the mouth." so you should rather be happy that CFA exist you know

Yes lucius, at least on area you can test while you offline even so it would great to have AI testing player, but on online part area works fine already.
