how to play a card

the title may a be a bit misleading, and I may be posting this in the wrong area....but I need help!
cause the card, dangerous fuse (http://buddyfight.wikia.com/wiki/Dangerous_Fuse) is something that I really like using
yet....when I play it on BFA, I don't know how to make it "random" like the card says
I originally showed my opponent 1 of the top 2 cards, then put 1 on top of my deck and one on bottom
and they would choose where the card I showed them was.
but one guy was confused and said to just base it on a coin flip (if u call it right it goes to hand, otherwise to gauge)

so how do I play Dangerous Fuse in BFA? Can someone please help me???

Yeah just do a coin flip, if you put to hand remember to reveal a card tho.
