Aichi seems to be "asleep".  Olivier Gaillard seems to indicate this a few times while talking with Kai.

As for season 5, it's already been confirmed.  Once that ends, though, we should be getting a new protagonist.  So we'll get to start all over again.

Yeah, the characters have all been there for a while so it would be difficult to keep them interesting for future years.

A brand new cast sounds pretty interesting, maybe we'll actually get a big shift in focus from Paladins to a different clan after season 5?

I doubt it. Bushi seems to get a hard-on from all the knights & dragons.
But then again, that's what most people want.

They are going to continue with Kagero, Narukami, Royal Paladin, Shadow Paladin, Nova Grappler, Dimension Police, and Gold Paladin support.  Because main characters sell very well for them.  And Loli mermaids.

They've already given up on making RRR's for Megacolony, Murakumo, Neo-Nectar, Granblue, Great Nature, and I'm going to assume Nubatama.  From now on, each of these will probably get between 7 (Granblue ;__;) to 15 cards of support each season, with no cards exceeding RR rarity.  While main clans will average 3/5 sets of support with 10-15 cards of support in each set they're featured in.  This is the game we play.

Oh... so that's why. Thanks for telling me. Well, I found Great Nature to be quite the threat around the end of season 1.

Set 7 was also very balanced.  No crazy strong or broken cards.  Japan had no reason to buy it, since they had DOtE, which made all of the pre set 9 decks weep.

This is also why Luquiers are like 30 bucks a piece, since not many people have them.

Well, BT07 was also extremely lopsided for Great Nature. There wasn't a whole lot in it for non-Great Nature players, which is probably a large factor for why it didn't sell.

Before set 7 Great Nature was a disgrace and they wanted to debut this *awesome* character with new support so they picked great nature and expected it to sell like hot cakes. Since it didn't, Bushiroad is more reluctant to support the "minor" clans in such a fashion ever again. If anything, it's the fans fault for not liking Chris's character.

Well, most players preferred Shadow Paladin to the point where it even got its own Trial Deck. Even back while Cardfight Capital was out I haven't seen a lot of great nature players and youtube video's suggested how there wasn't so many people extremely 'skilled' to master Great Nature at the beginning of season 1 especially since it could reach great heights while the game was still young. Now, it's more easier   to accomplish some things with the clans that have gotten a lot of support. In my opinion, Bushiroad saw it as advertising with the character and the ability of the clan to perform at great heights. So yep, like you said. "If anything, it's the fans fault for not liking Chris's character." but we really didn't like Evil Takuto either but maybe we took a liking to Omega Glendios.

Ultimately, to sum this up Bushiroad will probably start supporting the latest clans that have been used by most players. Ex. Kagero
We won't see a new clan for a while now especially since the game got so advanced so a new clan would need around 30+ new cards.

To be honest some people dont even like Shadow Paladin they just assume its the only thing they need to do to win why cant they stay with their "true" clan

"True" clan, though for a player such as myself the definition 'true clan' isn't in my dictionary. Trying other clans to find my favorite one is though.
