Stride skill timing

So I was playing in CFA yesterday, and I faced a guy using a Murakumo stride deck. The game on went on for awhile and then he went to stride into http://cardfight.wikia.com/wiki/Cosmetic_Snowfall,_Shirayuki while having http://cardfight.wikia.com/wiki/Stealth_Rogue_of_Revelation,_Yasuie on vg circle. He first activated Shiryuko's eff to call a Yasuie then used Yasuie's eff to copy the rg Yasuie.

I want to know if this was possible to do, since I thought a stride skill (like on yasuie) happened BEFORE the g unit hit the vg circle.

Yes it's possible, you can choose the order of the skills.

since both skills are activated at the same time you may choose the order in which you activate the skill.

ex: striding uphavel pegasus on chronojet, you can use uphavel first then chronojet
