Cardfight Online - new way to play CFV online

(1/8) > >>

skunkwitch:
I just saw the promotional video Bushi released for their new client that allows you to play CFV online.
Please tell me I'm not the only one upset at this since CFA is awesome and we don't need any other one?
I felt like there should be a thread here where we can talk about this.
By the way, here's the promotional video Bushi release about an hour ago if you didn't see it already:

Personally I'm looking forward for this, also for anyone actually interested in this they had a Q&A on their twitter where they gave us some pretty cool info, rather than just type it all out here are the replies:

hmm you know is not a CFV Simulator made by bushiroad so i think thats where the Problem lies. After all CFA was made and is owned by People bushiroad didn't sell any Copyrights to (i think?). and well i suppose this Simulator might be the countermeasure they made for CFA and other CFV Simulators.

Well one thing CFO has going for it is being fully automatic so you don't have to do math or argue over how skills work and also no cheating, it also won't take an entire millenium to update.

Although at the start we'll only have G-era cards and only English cards, but we'll also be getting other formats like Extreme Fight and maybe tags since they said they'd look into it. There's also ranked play and tournaments.

Cherry:
If it was a countermeasure to other simulators, it'd be up-to-date with the Japanese card pool. CFO is only going to be English's card pool. (I'm using "countermeasure" in the sense of winning people over.)

While I'm excited for an automated simulator, I'm really just beyond the point of caring since CFA's going to be superior solely for the fact that it'll always have more of the upcoming cards. Tags being added may win me over, but ranked play is just going to be a pain in the ass when it happens for the same reason why we didn't make it on cfa.

Then again, they could just not add a chat option and then ranked play won't have any worry of elitism except on some forums or something.
