What is a field?A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

I was terrible at Card Capital today. So much losing! Auauu~! >.< My Spike Brothers were getting stale, so I wanted to try something new and different when I returned the next day. Got some sweet cards in the shop and built a new deck. Looking for someone available to fight I noticed a guy walking out of CC and rushed after him. This looked like a tough and extreme cardfighter.
I caught up to him in the shopping district, but when I was about to call out to him, he turned to me with a bummed expression too. Turns out we had something in common after hitting it off with stories about our not-so-great cardfights that day. I thought this could be the perfect guy to test my deck against for its first game, and challenged him right away. We set up on a bench in the area and started our battle.
We said "Stand up, Vanguard!" and flipped over Godhawk, Ichibyoshi on my side and Amber Dragon, Daylight on his. Immediately I was worried as I had no grade 2 in my hand, but hoped to pull one later in the match. As luck would have it, I did superior ride my Half-Moon Tsuki later on in the game, and that luck continued to stay on my side throughout the game.
With each passing turn, my opponent would grumble and mumble, and it sounded pretty weird. I decided to keep having fun with the match anyway. In the final stages of the game, I was aiming for the 2 triggers that were collected in my stack. My opponent now thought victory was in the bag, since I wasn't hitting triggers left and right anymore. He guarded for 2 to pass on my vanguard and I destroyed him with the double trigger. An epic victory for the deck's first fight.
I reached out to shake his hand as thanks for the epic game, but was omega shocked when he slammed his hands down in a crazy rage! The guy grabbed his cards in a rush saying stuff about how he wasn't good enough. He ran off before I could ask him anything else.
What did I do? Was I too extreme in our fight? He looked really mad! Auauu~! >.<

I don't know where he was going or even his name, but if I wanted to meet him again and make amends, this spot was my only clue. I sat on that bench that dayyyy and watched the sun go down...

Almost a perfect win streak Day 1 in Card Capital. Acceptable by even the egotistical Yukino's standards. She wasn't perfect... yet. She left the store, still leaving other fighters in awe of her form from how she carried herself. Some thought she was crazy, still, but...

"We're glad you had a good time", Blaster Blade spoke.

"You all are beginning to rally and duel alongside one another in a superior fashion as well. Masterfully utilizing Palamedes' boost by call one to the backrow, for Gordon to eventually trade places with him without passing on an Especial Intercept..." Alfred added on, praising his subjects, and his vanguard. He was impressed with how their attack waves grew with more ferocity, how their Turn 2s were masterfully crafted in terms of offense. Still something to work on defensively, but the King was proud of his army nonetheless. They argue and fight one another, but they'll follow Hikari's lead, and Hikari will actually listen to their pleas.

"You're one to talk, Alfred! Where the hell were you?!" Yukino shouted, Marron, and Akane agreeing with her for once.

"... I had to attend some meetings."

"My ass!"

"You held your own without me, just be happy with that", he was trying to pass it off. He knows he should've been there, but this is a lesson for them at least. Unfortunately for him, nobody bought it. In fact, only Blaster Blade was on his side. Yukino let out a frustrated sigh, taking a seat on a bench, and beginning to toy with her cell phone some instead of looking over her deck anymore.

Satoshi whistled. It had been a long time since he had been to the city on his own. His parents had gone with him into town most of the time, and he always marveled at the lights and cars and people busily walking about.

He had come to town this time to take part in the opening of the new Card Capital, but playing against Yukino had taken a lot out of him. It was such a close game, a fun game. That's all he wanted out of today, an exciting game. Even if it was just the one.

Now he was off for a bit of a walk in the open air. Card Capital was a bit too crowded, unfortunately, so he felt being outside would do him some good before he maybe went back in to play against someone else. Thankfully it was such a nice day out, and he stared up at the clouds as he walked...

...without noticing a chunk of sidewalk sticking up out of the ground, which he proceeded to trip over and fall right in front of the bench Yukino was sitting on.

"Dagnabbit..."

Jellal appears before Yukino before she pulled out her cellphone.

"Was she just...?" He's heard of this phenomena, being able to talk to your cards, but he's never seen people actually do it, especially with the expressions she displayed. He often wondered how it was even possible to be able to do something like that. He pulled out his pale Shadow Paladin deck, Blaster Dark in the front. He gazed into his eyes, slowly spreading the deck to reveal other units such as Phantom Blaster Dragon, Blaster Javelin, and more. "Hm" he said, before blinking twice and closing his deck and approaching Yukino with a leisurely "You."
