Battle area > Grade System Event Version 2
(GS3) Field: Destroyed Shopping District
Jello:
"Let's make this good then!"
The fight started off in no one's particular favor. Haruka managed to critical early on the fight, but with the powerful pressure of Hana's Bermuda Triangle, and the immense hand advantage the deck offers, it took Haruka a long time to even manage to break through her defenses. The only power point Haruka could count on was retiring Hana's rear guards in order to lessen the blow from attacks next turn and force more of her hand to refill the field.
The battle raged on, 4 to 5 in Haruka's favor, but Hana drive checked a heal trigger and evened it back up. Top Idol, Riviere hit Dragonic Overlord square in the jaw for another damage tacked into his damage zone.
It was Haruka's turn now. "Stand and draw.." Haruka was nervous. Berserk Dragon. He could force a retire now and power-up his Blazing Flare Dragon, and as well as his Demonic Dragon Guru, Maharoga's on either side of the back-line. But instead, he called Dragonic Overlord. He wanted this fight to be over with raw power. "Dragonic Overlord attacks your Vanguard!!" Hana replied with a confident, "No gaado!"
Haruka broke into a sweat. "Twin Drive!!" He reached to the deck. He flipped the top card over and... breathed a sigh of relief.
"Embodiment of Spear, Tahr! Critical Trigger! Critical to My Vanguard Overlord, and power the rear guard one." The next check was a Dragon Monk, Gojo.
Haruka took the game by a hair.
"You know, Hana. That was fun... I mean, really. Most of my fights have always been about getting stronger. Being confident. But that was..." Haruka honestly smiled again. "I enjoyed that. Thanks again." He gave his signature goofy grin back to Hana.
Crystalia:
Miyuki continued eating her ramen, blissfully enjoying the taste.
'Ahh, this is good' she thought to herself. She continued eating it, until she was interrupted by a loud voice.
'W-what? Oh I'm sorry, I didn't notice you.'
Suprised by this man, who had somehow appeared next to her, she stammered out a reply. Or had she sat down next to him, without noticing?
'So, Cero was it? You're not from around here? And King of Vanguard?'
Despite herself, she couldn't stop questions from coming out of her mouth.
Hope:
"Whew, arigatou Pacifica." She smiled at her avatar and returned her deck back into her bag.
"That was a fun show, lots of lights and fire." That made me feel more relaxed too as she was able to try out some of her newer cards.
She stood up and saw Miyuki next to Screamo-kun. She wonder what to do for a bit... does she approach them or not?
....Well Hana decided to go home and fry an egg.
Lance Korilum:
"That's right! I am Cero Kirguis, the man crowned with the title of Europe's King of Vanguard!" This was something Cero was having to repeat multiple times every time he met someone knew, and although to most it would've been getting frustrating, Cero enjoyed doing it, to make sure everyone knew exactly who he was and the extent of his abilities, even though no one in Japan really seemed to understand the importance of the title in his home continent.
"Now that I've told you who I am, who are you?"
Crystalia:
'O-oh, me? I'm Miyuki Himura, nice to meet you. So Cero, what exactly are you doing here? I'd have assumed a King wouldn't be eating Ramen at a shop like this.'
As she was talking to Cero, she also noticed Hana walking over. Had she been there the whole time as well? Man, being hungry sure was a scary thing.
