A
Kid?
Haruka looked at Tsubasa blankly for a good fifteen seconds before a very thin smile appeared on his face. Dark. Haruka typically gave off nothing but a bouncy vibe at this point, but something in him snapped. Just a little. His eyes that were once only empty of thought were now staring through Tsubasa's soul. Haruka would kill the man had he the means too.
"Right. A kid. Nice choice of words. Tsu-ba-sa." Taking his time to spell out the syllables was just about his way of spelling out Tsubasa's death certificate.
In an instant the bubbly behavior resumed as Rosalia and Seifer started defending each other in unison. Yep. Love birds, most definitely. It was so blatant that not even Haruka could miss something so obvious, but it reminded him of a certain somebody...
He sort of just leaned back against the wall after his subtle death threat to Tsubasa, thinking about Yukino for a moment. He hadn't seen her in quite awhile. Where was she? How was she doing? Maybe he should say something to her...
"hey, yukino, whats up? its been awhile... we should meet up sometime. i miss you. -haru"
He sent that quickly before turning his attention to the group. Neo had asked what felt like a very important question. He had an answer for him as it happens.
"We should probably get out of the alleyway. People might think we're..." Haruka comically looked side-to-side, mimicking somebody who would be looking out for eavesdroppers.
"
Gang members.
" Haruka emphatically whispered.

Satoshi left Card Capital and started to head in the direction of the late night cafe again. He had a bit of a daily routine now that he was back in Rijiku, and he was going to try to stick to it if he could. He noticed a gathering of people he recognized in the alleyway nearby---Haruka, Hana, Seifer, Neo, and Tsubasa---as well as a girl that was standing close to Cipher. She had protested just now that she was cute.
Well, that was far from the truth, but that was on her to find out later.
He made an effort to walk past and maybe not be noticed, but secretly he was curious what they were all up to, at least to be sure that they were all okay. He didn't want to leave friends in need, but he didn't believe that they were in the first place.

The time has come once again to visit the manga store for some brand new manga from all that backlog. As Shiki faced the stairs, a flashback appeared in his head, a flashback of how he nearly killed himself on those stairs a like two years ago, back durning his very first nationals. It was the very same flashback he's been having forever since that day. Very, very carefully he made his way up the stairs into the store and spent a few minutes in there. Then walked out with a bag full of those colorless comic books.
It wasn't time to go home yet though, he wandered around from shop to shop for food and other everyday life necessities. At some point his groceries looked like something a woman would get if you were to let her go into a supermarket alone for 5 minutes.
And he still wasn't done, going around the shopping district from shop to shop.

Bella gave a stiff nod, crossing her arms, standing tall and confidently.
"Mmmm, shy and timid type. Seifer certainly got a good catch... Oh right what's her name? She's definitely cute enough to be an idol and. O M G. that kind of living situation is like one of my animays! Totally cool! You two are set for laifu!!" She slowly walked out the alley, noticing Harooka trying to text someone. Easy assumption. Yukino. Overall things were great. She wasn't exactly sure what Mi-hime was up to at home, but she thought that inviting them would be a good idea. Having a get together like this was one of her own dreams awhile back. Now it wssn't that hard to just scoop up anyone to talk to and kill time, but these were the people who called her "Hana," not "Isabella." Not that she appreciates her fans any less, but being called by her actual name has that nostalgia factor.
"Hey guys I guess we can go eat at a fancy restaurant for dinner tonight. How about it? I got some spare cash well... Not really spare..." she scratches her head. The right word was most likely excess cash. Her disposable income was an average person's entire lifetime's worth of a wage. That's what it was.
So Neu is a catch huh?... Hana ran over to Tsubasa's side and pat him on the back. "On our way there please do tell us about why pink-head goddess is your type! I could've sworn she's a yandere... Didn't she try to kill you? I-mean, in terns of looks she does look like an actualld goddess of course, is that why?"

With everything happening at once, something in the back of Seifer's mind snapped a little and he breathed in softly, his eyes shutting halfway. Okay, it was time to get out of the alleyway with Rosalia and go back to shopping for groceries since it was getting kind of late, and they still needed to buy food. There was no hesitation in what he was about to do though. With a light wave to his friends he grabbed Rosalia's hand lightly to lead her out in case something else happened.
"Text me if you guys wanna hang out again some other time. She and I have to finish getting the pantry at home filled, and we'd already spent enough time not doing that. Sorry Hana, I appreciate the offer for food though I'll have to decline this time. I'll make it up to you some other time."
with that he lead the probably freaking out red head out of the alleyway and into one of the nearby stores to shop for food.

Tsubasa was unphased by Haruka's death stare, to him the male was just trying to look tough, nevertheless Tsubasa respected him enough to not push his teasing to far, until they became proper friends that is. At that moment Tsubasa turned his head towards Hana's invitation and agreed on the choice of going to a restaurant, just after Haruka ran out to text someone.
"...Huh..I guess i'll be seeing Yukino sooner than I thought." he said, shifting his attention back to Hana.
"...Sure i'll tell you about it all on the way." he said, giving a rather timid look to Hana's blunt array of questions.
At that moment Seifer grabbed Rosalia and made his way out of the alleyway, giving his regrets as he declined Hana's offer, it was clear that he had business to attend to, so Tsubasa just waved at the both of them as they left.
"..Shall we get going?" he asked.

Rosalia felt like she was going to explode, which was something not easily done. She opened her mouth to continue protesting to Hana, but saw her move over to Tsubasa instead. Then a hand touched her's, pulling her out of the alleyway. It was Seifer of course, the shaking redhead following quietly without much of a goodbye. Her companion took care of that, while Rosalia focused on calming herself.
Deep breath in, deep breath out. Left, right, left, right. Timing every fifth step with a breath, she started to relax. Seifer would notice the reduced trembling from her hand the farther they got away from the alleyway.
To think these were the kind of people that Seifer was friends with... I-i mean.. they aren't that bad... Not that I really know any of them just yet...
she thought to herself. Even after all that happened with Hana, she was going to give the idol a chance. Haruka.. she didn't really learn much about him, except maybe that he's a more quiet type? It was nice to see Tsubasa and Neo again though.
Finally relaxed, Rosalia looked to her companion, withdrawing her hand gently from his grasp.
"I-i'm okay now... Thank you... S-so.. back to shopping? You never got back to me about what kind of dinners you'd like since it's just the two of us..."

"Alright, as long as you're actually ok. As for what to buy, I'm not really sure, but let's just get some bread to start off with... And... Hm... We need sandwich meats and cheeses to."
he sighed looking around the store that they'd gone into.
"Oh boy what have you gotten yourself into now Seifer..."
he sighed once more strolling through the store grabbing things like chicken, beef, pork, ramen, milk, orange juice and so on. He had to get a lot really since they had nothing back at the house. Now that he thought about it though, Tsubasa had mentioned the incident that happened a year ago. He didn't think it really necessary to tell Rosalia at first since it'd happened and everything was different now. In any case as the cart was now getting full he scratched the back of his head looking at his companion.
"Well... I got a lot of what I wanted but I kinda was just running on auto pilot... Is there anything you'd want?"

So Tsubasa didn't have fear instilled into him. Which is fair, considering Haruka isn't nearly as tall as him, or really built all too well and looks like he could still be a freshman in high school and nobody would know the difference. He's not particularly tiny, but lean is the best way to describe Haruka. After a few moments, he noticed the soon-to-be couple run off and out of the alley. Maybe they forgot something? How should Haruka know. He actually didn't really breathe a word to either of them since they got together.
But dinner was definitely something Haruka could go for. No response from Yukino... but Haruka had an idea. Whether or not it was a good one, he had no idea.
"hey shiki, its haruka. wanna go to dinner with me and some friends? fancy food 4 free, you down? -haru"
With that, he clicked his phone shut and walked towards the remaining three, being Hana, Tsubasa and Neo.
"Dinner sounds great. Since er, Rosalia was it? And Seifer aren't joining us, would it be fine if a friend of mine joins us? You already know him I think, Hana."

Rosalia mostly watched rather than helped shopped for.. just about everything. They really didn't have anything at the house yet, so they had to get started somewhere. Seifer did good in picking out a lot of what they needed, but looking over the cart, the redhead crossed her arms in thought.
"Hm... You got just about everything...
except
..."
She trailed off with a small smile, heading over to an aisle where spices and such were kept. Her arms were full instantly with things like flour, sugar, baking soda, vanilla, and spices like salt, pepper, cinnamon, etc. She could ask to get everything in the store's selection, but she got what they would actually use more so than the odds and ends that would sooner spoil than be used.
"D-do um.. Do any of your friends have allergies? I-i was thinking of baking or something to kind of make up for earlier... And who could ever say no to a fresh batch of cookies?"

Watching the female, rather dumbfounded he let out an exasperated sigh before shaking his head, making room in the cart for the stuff Rosalia was now carrying.
"I don't think any of them do really. I hadn't asked them about it. I'll make sure though, but I'm pretty sure none of them do."
Rest in peace Seifer if they did. He'd still make sure though. After gathering everything and walking to the front to checkout and pay for it all. Once everything was in bags, he grabbed two armfuls, leaving some for Rosalia to get as well since he couldn't carry it all obviously.
"It's getting late so let's go on home and make something to eat."

"What do you think? I got things for a sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies. I wasn't sure what else to get, and any more stuff right now, we might not be able to carry it all home~"
Rosalia giggled softly, taking the remaining bags. It was a lot, more so than she thought, but they just had to get it home and call it a night. After they eat, of course.
"Well... I think we have everything. Let's get going before we end up dropping something from standing around."
She felt a lot better after her outburst earlier, the shopping giving her mind a chance to focus on something else, even if in the end she thought about baking for her hopefully new friends. As she headed out of the store, arms full of goods, Rosalia glanced around, wondering if Hana and the others really did go out for dinner.
"So.. Hana is an idol or something?... Must be nice, and kind of annoying if you have fans fawning over you all the time... Oh well. Let's get home~"

Sitting in the cafe again, Satoshi sighed. He really needed to stop avoiding people, but it was hard because he wasn't the same person as before. Still, it wouldn't kill him to at least say something to his Triad mate or his other Triad mate's sister.
Speaking of...
He looked over his contacts and found "Hana" on his phone. After much deliberation, and a few sips of coffee, he sent a message over to her. It took a long time to decide what to say, and it didn't work exactly the way he wanted most of the time, so he settled on the simplest message possible.
Hey.

A friend? Isabella never knew that Harooka had friends aside from Yukino, Butler-san, and coffee. Eggs is to Hana as Coffee is to Harooka. Sounds just about right. Any friend of Harooka's is a friend of Isabella's.
"Of course!" She nodded with a smile. The couple ran out of the alley to make out. Welp.
Since there were less of them, may as well take them to a nicer place. Isabella dialed up her driver as Harooka's friend went on his way. She did wonder what kind of person he was...
After calling up her driver, her phone did its text ringtone, "nico nico nii!"
It was unfamiliar to her, a name that she barley had heard of in the past year, Thirst-kun.

I'm okay, I guess. Been back for a little bit. Trying to stay low for reasons I'm not really sure of myself. Hawaii was nice. How have things been with you?
