Beryl:
"My name is Satoshi Kurosaki. I'm from the countryside, and yes, I do play Vanguard---wait, are you asking me to play after calling me a stalker?!"

He shrugged. "Well, if that's what it'll take for you to understand I'm not one, Miss...er..."

Azuki Frappé:
"My name's Ighanna R. Colberg, I came here from the United Kingdom" she said trying to act like a foreigner. Perhaps the different culture could be why she viewed Satoshi-kun as a stalker, maybe here isn't as bad as the UK.

"I'm sorry for calling you a stalker, lets relax with a game of Vanguard instead" Ighanna apologized as she grabs out her deck.

--- Quote from: Helios on August 10, 2015, 12:16:30 AM ---I speed up to the mysterious guy, "Awww come on. You cant just be on the standby. And besides all these people are so enveloped in their own types of people." I turn serious. "Look, directing other people away from you won't get you anywhere. When I was growing up, I lived in a big, big house with only my mother and sister. Besides them, I was alone, shy, and didn't want anything to do with all this city life. But ever sense I have started coming to this blooming city, I've hardly felt that way. So how about this, we cardfight. If you win, I will leave you alone. But if I win, you tell me your name and we go tour the city. That is unless you are to chicken to fight me."

Of course, Jellal could've easily ignored attempt of a taunt. However, his incident today left him weak. Everything he's ever done from that day til now has all been to gather as much strength to needed to cope. It was like after today, he felt completely empty, all of himself was gone, and he needed to pick himself back up. Perhaps that's why he was staring and watching people cardfight: to get himself mentally involved.

He turned. "Sure." He said with a weak level of confidence, although in his eyes were the resolve he found earlier. "I don't plan on taking it easy on you either, so you better be ready." The cold Jellal had resurfaced once more as the chilly wind went through both fighters as Jellal entered the collected area, standing beside an empty fight table. He grabbed the ruffled and tored up motion figure system glove that was left on the cold iron of the table. Firmly adjusting it to fit his hand, he grabbed his deck and sat it face down after removing a card to the Vanguard Circle and shuffling the deck.

The close game finishes in my favor. "So Jellal is the name. It was nice playing with you, and maybe we can go touring tomorrow as it is getting a little late and I have stuff to tend to at home. I bid you a farewell, my friend."

I turn around and start walking the other way toward the train station. I turn my head around, but still maintain my walking pace. Yelling to Jellal I say, "I hope to see you tomorrow so we can tour the city, there is a lot more out there than you might think!"

+1 affinity point to Jellal

Jellal stares at his Shadow Paladin deck.

"Another loss" he thought to himself as Hazama disappeared from his line of vision. He looked at the Blaster Dark that made his way into the damage zone. It was the only one he ran. Jellal sighed as he packed up his cards and placed them in the deck case, staring at it with frustration.

"It's almost like you guys don't want to work." he said out loud. It was strange, someone who rejected the idea of being able to talk to cards, was talking to his cards. However, him staring at the cards was for no reason, he knew that the cards had some way of reaching out to their fighters. He wasn't sure how it was possible but he knew that some were able to and others were not.

"...Whatever." he thought. "It's not like I'm your fighter anyway." The way he said that, implied that the Shadow Paladin that he held dear to him weren't his.

Hope:
Hana felt well rested, having just woken up from her nap at home. She yawned with her hand over her mouth. All around her were the other shoppers walking about, families, lovers, and people of all kinds. But she couldn't hear much of the surrounding noise herself as she was listening to music through the earbuds in her ears. She inhaled deeply and took out her phone, her music still playing and earphones connected. She slid her fingers across the screen and then tapped it lightly to open up the internet browser. Large letters flashed onto the screen.

"EGGS ON SALE! SUCH DISCOUNT! MANY DEALS!"

Hana's love for eggs stems from her love of cooking, which due to her upbringing, she never did much. She's always been raised with servants who would cook whatever she wanted, and a sister who would often purchase for her her favorite foods. Because of this, Hana is terrible at cooking, despite her love for it. This was a discovery she only made recently. The only substance that Hana can actually cook successfully is eggs. She feels like a real professional whenever she make an omelette, and she often loves to invite her sister home for dinner whenever she cooks her specialty omurice, a variant of her delicious omelette, but with rice.

"Right then!" Hana looked determined, running off to the direction of the grocery store, eggs are the best.
