Customers. Customers everywhere.
"W-Where did they all come..." Haruka was starting to break a sweat, as customer's poured in left and right. He luckily had been given a reprieve after nearly passing out when serving three different parties. In the end, he got back to the counter to find...
"Seifer? Oh, hey man. What's up man?" Haruka said, patting him on the back before returning behind the counter.
"Oh, erm... right. Ahem." Haruka cleared his throat as his boss' piercing eyes stabbed through Haruka's soul. Must act professional, otherwise the big payout would be canceled and Haruka can't afford that sort of pressure right now.
"H-How may I serve you, sir?" Haruka nearly busted out laughing saying that to Seifer.

It was getting late. After a day of looking through stores and barely buying anything, he wanted to stop into a place for a drink. He looked up, seeing a place. StarGATEBucks Cafe. It sounded like a horrible pun out of context. Still, he decided it was worth going inside. Darren ran his hand through his hair as he walked inside. He sat in a seat by himself, not seeing Seifer even though he was sitting right behind him. He waited to be served as he looked at the menu.
Hot Chocolate seems good. I'm not big on coffee. Too bitter.
He then heard the name Seifer. He turned as he saw the two there, Seifer as well as Haruka. He couldn't help but laugh at the false attempt at professionalism.

"How may I server you sir." That made Seifer laugh a bit grinning before thinking.
"I could go for a... Hm. Regular Coffee... Black for once. That and..."
he glanced around the shop for a moment before looking at Haruka the counter boy.
"Are you the only one here tonight working?"
he asked this part more offering some kind of assistance to the seemingly over stretched male. It was pretty busy tonight after all.

Tsubasa continued his stroll at the shopping district, after some time he felt in need of some refreshments, seeing as the Stargate Coffee was in sight he decided to head there.
Upon entry he notices that 3 of the people he knew were already there, Seifer, Haruka and Darren. He also could not miss Haruka's attempt at professionalism, to which he just skilled and walked towards the counter. "I see you two are still keeping things as lively as ever." he said, in a joking tone. "Good to see all of you, Seifer, Haruka and Darren I hope you all enjoyed the camping trip."

It was late at night but Noel couldn't sleep. It's been two weeks since the camping trip with two weeks worth of dreams that have been getting more realistic by the day. She even starts hallucinating Salome being around her. Noel is probably going crazy for having restless nights that seeing Vanguard units is becoming a thing. On the bright side is that she managed to regain her lost deck within those two weeks. At least that was a good dream come true.
So tired but can't sleep.... maybe a nice hot chocolate from that cafe and some cookies can out me to sleep. Mom and I always had that every other night and I always slept right after until the next morning.
Down the quiet street, Noel sees that the cafe she went with Tsubasa was still opened, a miracle for now she might have her ticket to sleep. As she goes in, she sees Tsubasa, Seifer and Darren inside

"There, uh, there are more of us. It just happens to be that they're all serving too and most of them are getting off soon, so I'm taking most of the workload recently."
Haruka wiped his forehead clear of sweat, stretching his back out before responding to the order with a nod and a thumbs-up, heading over to the coffee-maker. It was near the counter, so responding wasn't too hard either.
Tsubasa showed up, and so did that one guy from the camping trip, but the last guy didn't bother joining Seifer from the beginning. Weird. Haruka simply nodded to Tsubasa with a small simper. Service with a smile.
"Yeah, things are going good here man... Just a lot of work tonight is all, no biggie..." Haruka poured out the cup after some coffee bean mixtures had gone through the dispenser.
"Here you are, on full black Royal Brew, my specialty. On the house... it'll teach that stupid boss of mine." Haruka sneered over his shoulder at the manager, then turned back to Tsu and Seifer at the front.
"What you brings you here Tsu? Coffee, hot chocolate, you name it, I'll make it." Haruka proceeded to continue polishing glasses.
Another one strolling in.
"Noel?" Haruka slumped over the counter a little.
"So. Many. People."

With all the people flooding in, you'd think Seifer would of high tailed it out of there at that point but... As Haruka brought the cup of joe he took one sip of the hot liquid. It was bitter. Really bitter. And way different from his usual caramel blend but he enjoyed it all the same.
"Hey guys."
he waved to Darren, Tsubasa, and Noel respectively as they made their entrances before taking another sip. Deliciously bitter.
"If you need help, I can do so. I haven't got much to do since Rosalia isn't back yet from going back home."
he spoke to Haruka this time, offering his services to the establishment, whether it was accepted or not.

Darren smiled to see how lively things were when everyone got together. Seeing Tsubasa and Noel enter brought even more to it. Darren decided to move to the section next to Seifer just so they would all be together. It'd probably help Haruka as well.
"I guess we have a full house tonight,"
Darren said with a small laugh. He waved to Noel lightly to call her over and said,
"Its been quiet since the trip but there's nothing wrong with that. How's everyone been?"

Haruka stood there scratching the back of his head, realizing he would have to serve up three more people probably, and not only that, but people were still coming in by the dozens.
Gulp.
He pulled a spare apron out from the counter and tossed it to Seifer.
"You. Tonight. You work here. Just take orders and bring them to me, I'll make it, you can pass 'em out. Work for you?" Haruka made series eye-contact with Seifer. He was still in a joking manner but this was work. Business. Serious.
Haruka still couldn't take it seriously a small grin cracked on his face regardless.
Darren wasn't wrong here... Full house was only sugar-coating it. The pits of hell have unleashed demons and they were just now filling in the remaining seats, even some people had to stand for their orders. This was cancer incarnate at it's finest.

"Hey guys, I'm surprised you are all here..."
Noel then yawns as she approaches their table,
"I'm so tired yet I just can't go to sleep... can I get a hot chocolate and some of those gourmet cookies?"
She told the waiter as she then rested her head on table.
When Seifer mentioned Rosalia not bring home yet, she remembered that her mom had sent her a message to go back home for the following weekend as a way to see how she is doing. Most likely her dad won't care much and just scold her saying weakness is a sin and to step over those under her. Basically things Noel doesn't want to hear. Noel's mom is the only one who legitimately wants to know how she is doing and ask about Seifer and check on him.
I really don't want to go back there... father will he displeased if he finds out I am still staying at a hotel.. he would probably angrily yell at me saying why I haven't bought the hotel yet or something.
Noel sighs and starts answering Darren's question,
"I've been fine I guess. I managed to find all the units I was missing to re-complete my old deck that I came with to this city..."

Seifer gave a thumbs up, and after finishing his coffee, dropped his jacket off somewhere it wouldn't get stolen before putting on the apron to start his temporary work. Actually with how his dress shirt and pants looked, he looked like he could of been a full time worker there. In any case, Seifer diligently went about business, doing as Haruka would ask and whenever he was needed somewhere he'd go. It really was crammed full tonight. Personally he never thought coffee shops were that popular.

Noel's order sounded good. He raised his hand and said,
"I'll have the same thing here!"
He noticed that Seifer was going to start taking orders so he made sure he had been heard. After that, he turned to Noel and said, "That's great to hear. I've been working on mine too. I'd say its even better than the one you fought at the station that day." Despite the time, Darren seemed to have quite a bit of energy.
"Using it has been a lotta fun."

It was becoming crowded at the coffee shop, even with Seifer offering his assistance it seemed like it was going to be a busy night. Tsubasa decided that he will get a quick hot chocolate and maybe spend some time at the shop, until a message arrived on his phone.
"I'll get a hot chocolate only bro, good luck with the customers." he said, his expression turning to worry.
"What's up man?
he sent the message to Hikaru, to try and see what the situation is, expecting something to do with the turf wars or...the coming events. He took the chance to greet Noel and Darren as he decided to sit at their table for the meantime. "How are you both doing? he asked.

Haruka leaned on the counter, nodding to the two.
"He's doing stuff with outside customers, I'll take your guys' orders. Hot chocolate and gourmet cookies, coming up." Haruka turned around to fiddle around with the supplies, making a decent hot chocolate at first, and then a better one second. He had to decide who got the better batch of hot chocolate. To decide, Haruka closed his eyes, set them on a tray, spun the tray a couple of times, plopped down the sets of cookies, and carried it over to them.
None would be the wiser.
"Heeeereee you are. Be careful. Just made, so its still hot. I left marshmallows on the side to if you wanted that. There's whipped cream up at the counter if you need it." With a fake salute to Noel and Darren, he returned to the bar waiting for Seifer's round of orders. Tonight would go by quickly enough with an extra hand, luckily.
Tsubasa ordered a hot chocolate as well after the others, causing Haruka to quite literally slide over the counter and make that one too in godspeed. Can't leave customers waiting after all, even if they are your friends.
"For you, Tsu. How's Neu, by the way?" Haruka wasn't even near any, but he already had a new glass and was polishing it spotless. He could be a bartender if he really wanted to. Just needed sunglasses to look cool. Eh. Maybe.
