"Short Bio"Twenty-Two years old, five foot-eleven inches tall, Introverted, Trust Issues, and a Lonely view on life; Knight is your average young adult that has difficulty forming any kind of bond with others. Regardless of these difficulties, Knight still knows how to enjoy what he has and wear a smile when he is out in public.
Positively using his vast amount of free time, he continues to work towards being a well established mangaka and has already published 3 slightly successful Light Novel projects. Because of these, he actually has a bit of a fanbase among his generation, especially the girls because his works are BL Graphic Novels.
"First encounter with Vanguard"His first encounter with the world of Vanguard, was purely by chance. He had taken refuge in a nearby shop, hiding out from nearly getting his face slammed into the ground by some girls ex boyfriend who blamed his novels for her leaving him. Fortunately he ran right past where he had taken refuge and in a sigh of relief, he decided to look around the shop. As he walked around, he noticed he was in the local card game shop and they were in the middle of their local Vanguard Shop Tournament.
Curious he walked about watching the kids, and teens playing, calling out attacks and stuff about guarding or not. and the occasional excited "Critical Trigger!". Needless to say, the experience of just spectating was enough to peek his curiousity. Suddenly he stopped at one table as he noticed one teen was using dinosaur-like creatures on the cards. This pushed him to his limits. His fascination with reptiles caused him had him watching this certain match over all the others.
"This your first time here?" a voice spoke from behind him, he nearly flinched from instinct, but instantly gathered himself and turn to the side to see an older man holding a small box looking at the match he was watching, then right at him. "You looked lost at first, but you seemed to have seen something familiar."
"U-uh...What are these people doing?" Knight asked turning back to the game, the two players infront throwing occasional glances at him, but never lost focus of their game.
"They're playing Cardfight Vanguard. It's currently all the rage, hahaha."
"Vanguard?"
"It's fun, if you're thinking about picking it up," the other teen interrupted, as he placed a card in the center of their set ups, "I use Royal Paladin, It's a clan that specializes in the unity of people. Like they say, There is power in numbers."
"Indeed they are," the man agreed with the teen who had a lay out of cards with humanoids. "The other one here is Tachikaze. They're kinda like Dragons, but more so along the concept of Cybernetic Dinosaurs."
//Dinosaurs!// Knight got a little excited as he thought to himself.
The teen using the Dinosaurs glanced up at Knight then back down at the cards on the field, "Tachikaze reminds you that friends come and go, and that you need to hurt someone you know to make a situation better." he said in a soft, hesitant tone
"Ehehe, not completely. But he's not wrong depending on your viewpoint." the man forced the laugh.
Knight felt a connection in that instant. Reminded of how he has gone through his fair share of short lived friendships.
"Yes! Critical Trigger!" the Paladin user cheered. "That's Six Damage, Good Game." he extended his hand out to the Dinosaur user, but it was never met.
"Don't let every loss hold you back from looking forward, Just like the Granblue, jsut cause you're beat, doesnt mean you're out of the game completely."
Knight asked, "Granblue?"
"Zombie Pirates." the man briefly explained.
"Say no more," Knight stopped him, not being a big fan of rotting stuff.
The man then straightened his posture, and looked out to everyone playing."Alright people, thank you for coming and participating in our local tournament, we hope to see you all next time. We will be closing in 30 minutes, If you would like to make any purchases, I will be with you shortly." then pulled out some packets from his box, and then hended a few packets to the teens, and one to Knight. "It's on the house."
