"Man..." Neu tapped her right foot on the dusty ground.
"I shoved them in your face to show you that they're still around and kicking, waiting for you. So that you could remember how it was to have fun, and really, I saw it. Just a little, but I saw it. I wanted them to inspire you to find your answer of what Vanguard really is. I don't give a damn what you would've found at that point cause if it was something bad then I'd beat it out of your head and we would rinse and repeat til you got it right.... Just looking into someone's eyes and seeing them lost and weak just makes me feel like a failure myself..." She remained silent, the rift opened up behind her.
I thought that I could give up a few sacrifices to make the majority happy.... but to actually see how they are...
I can't take it... I just cant!
Neu stepped back into the rift.

Just like that, Neo saw Neu disappear with his own 2 eyes.
"What in the world?.." Neo said to himself.
Neo didnt question it, it would only bring up more questions.
Neo then walked out the slums and thought about his next move.

Noah had spent an unhealthy amount of time fighting at the slums. Defeating thug after thug in cardfights, he eventually got into some fist fights, which he was able to win by using his light weight body to strike swiftly and dodge most of their oncoming punches. By the time the sun came up Noah had defeated an incredible number of fighters and his hoodie was tattered. Filled with a new found resolve, Noah left the slums.

"Get, Critical trigger all effects to my vanguard. Three critical and it breaks through, Now suffer!"
Cosmo Lord then aimed its gauntlets at the red dragon as it fired bright bullets which exploded on impact on the dragon's army. Wailing in its own misery, at its own weakness. Hikaru's opponent was already sweating bullets as his hand was shaking. He could of sworn that Hikaru's eyes were glowing in the dark area. He slowly reached out for his deck hoping his deck would grace him with three heals....There was no hope for him, especially at five damage.
"Damage..check...Heal!, I got a heal....hahahaha. Recovering one" Hikaru just looked at him with his intimidating eyes as his opponent slowly descent to madness. He knows his opponent used up two of his heals already. He won't get another.
"Second check...nothing...No I can't possibly lose. I'm the strongest." Slumping down onto the floor as he broke out into laughter as he descent down into madness. Disturbing laughter filled the air as Hikaru unfazed by his opponent's broken laughter walks over to the wall and grabs a sign with a red serpent mark, tearing it away from the wall.
"From now on the Scarlet Serpents of block F are now under the Dark Vigilantes! If you wish, you may leave your decks here and live an honest life or stay here and bring order to the slums so they may have honest lives." No one seemed to object to that, gladly accepting the offer. The growing factions had started to get out of hand and Hikaru set out to neutralize it. Truthfully Hikaru would of handled it months ago but there were more pressing matters to attend to. While the use of shock gloves and weaponry in the slums were normal. Some factions began to use the shock gloves to rob innocents of their labor and attacking them at night. In short, it was a gang war he is taking part and now...
He was raising an army.

This was the fastest way to the Himura residence, strangely enough. She had just returned from Mi-hime's home to leave a few things for her parents. Isabella remembered when she first step place here, fearing a certain amount of fear. The stench of this place had given her such anxiety. It was also during that time that she had fought Jellal, a fight that she struggled through. Memories came back to her. It was because of Vanguard that even this place had become something memorable to her. She was no longer afraid of this area, and even those who resided her knew her anyways so she had nothing to worry about. The princess walked through as she would a regular neighborhood. There news of infighting happening within this area. There wasn't much that she could do about it other than let the fighters here handle it themselves. Isabella continued on her way.

Hikaru surveyed the area for any remaining Scarlet Serpent members lying around and to see if any members of other factions were snooping around in his territory. He then spotted a girl with dark blue hair. Alarmed he raced down to her.
"You, who are you!?"

The sudden alarm suddenly caused her to take out her Vanguard deck, well not like it would defend her, but she just got so used to it. Looking at the individual again, she was able recognize him. Its been a year, but he was the King of the Underground who challenged her sister.... and kind of shoved her aside at that time. She understood that much.
But...
"I'm Isabella Hope," she smiled and waved at him, "Nice to meet you!"

"Isabella..Hope?..Wait Hana?" Having not seen her since the concert at New York he was surprised to say the least. He was busy dealing with the turf war in the slums so he hasn't really checked on any thing else. Due to the intensity of the war he hasn't been at home for a few days.
"What are you doing here, don't you know about the war going around here."

"Right, Hana, not that many people call me that now outside of my close friends. Also no need to worry about me, I can protect myself pretty well, thank you very much."
She started to wonder what the war was about though, it seemed like it would cause trouble in the Vanguard world, at least maybe in a small scale. Even so, she still wanted to help out. "Turf war?" She tilted her head as she asked, walking past the King towards a fight table. Isabella spread her cards across the table and scanned around for a certain card. One of her eyes shifted into a starry pattern as she transported an image to Cray, beginning to relay information of the events happening within the slums so that she cold get some advice on how to go about the situation as she learned more about it.

"If you want to know then. it was planned since I've went to participate in the circuit. Since I didn't leave anyone in charge I evidently caused a power vacuum in my area. The other factions took advantage of this and began to attack the area we live in." He signed as he rubbed his blue tint raven hair.
"When I returned, the slums were in a bad state and was told of what has happened. They attacked the card shops around the area demanding both cards and money by the use of the shock gloves and other methods. So that's what i've been doing in the past year, doing my best to neutralize the threats as much as possible."

"I see," Isabella felt glad. The matter was serious, but it looked like the King was putting in good work and doing what seems to be part of his job as well. Some of the Bermuda Triangle made sure to take note of the information given as Isabella still had a tendency to forget things. She had to make her way home as it was getting late now, but she did wish to help.
"Hey, how about we do a quick fight before I head off?"

"Alright, I need a good warm up before I go off against the bluebloods." He then grabs his deck and places the starter.

After the fight, Isabella put her deck back in her box. The Pr<3ism idols were students and successors of the past idorus, Pacifica's kouhais so to speak. She had been practicing alongside them for the past year. The origins of the actual cards were still unknown, but the appearance of the deck had something to do with her dog, Pr<3ism Promise who was of the Labrador breed.
The King of the Underground really was doing a good job. His Vanguard seemed to be of a good nature, at the very least in its plain view. Isabella found it to be an accomplishment to have been victorious, much less have even gotten to fight him seeing as how it was only yea ago that he had his sights set on Yukinee and Hana was someone who was simply off to the side despite being the first to have met him over at the Card Capital opening tournament. Hopefully now, Isabella who is less fragile is able to protect herself and stand proudly. She sort of wanted to convey that in the fight.
"I have to go, but I hope that you let me help out around here." She offered, more or less giving the Underground King no choice rather, as she began to walk off.

After the fight, Hope left without a trace as if she was never here. Hikaru was dissapointed in his display of skills in this fight but he figured it was from all the constant fighting that the exhaustion was getting to him. Hope's offer was a bit tempting but he swore he won't get any outside help. Even if he knew that she could take care of her self, Yukino would probably skin him alive if she found out she was hurt.
"Stay...safe, Hope."

"Hes too strong..."
Those were the words of each fighter that Neo fought in the slums that morning. Ever since seeing his friends for the first time in a year, Neo felt alone. He felt all the pain of what had happened back in New York. So he decided to vent his frustrations out on the people of the slums. Neo didn't care how many people were at the slums, He was going to fight them all and beat them all and thats what he did. With his new Eradicators, Neo sent the fighters of the slums into fear. Especially with his new Eradicator Gauntlet Buster Dragon card, which was so deadly.
"And Yet I still feel the pain.." Neo said after beating every fighter.
Neo just stood there and stared at all the fighters on the floor. He was in pain, but he didnt want to show it to his friends anymore. He would just let his cards speak for him.
