Battle area > Grade System Event Version 2
(GS3) Field: Umano Underground Slums
Hope:
The trio of knights appeared. It's funny because Ezel was the only Grade 3. Blaster Blade and Blaster Dark were forever stuck as Grade 2. Then again, Nociel isn't getting anywhere for awhile probably. Or ever.
Better let out the first bomb quickly. It was the only bomb. The other bomb here was Reit because she always felt like a boiling pot of passive aggression. So after this was in the way, the real bonding could begin... or this was where the bonding were to being.... either way it was best to let this out.
"Hana..." Reit said.
Exactly.
Isabella's mind suddenly went blank for a moment. The news was a lot heavier than she thought, though she didn't know how Yukino would react. It was probably best to just be clear and succinct, stay silent, then end off with her thoughts on it after hearing and seeing Yukino's reaction.
"Ok..." She took a deep breath.
"Haruka and I have been seeing each other, like a couple... like since you were gone for so long and because of- ... how Mi-hime currently is we started... doing things." Way to be clear Hana.
"Well, we decided to end it off today. I decided that he's yours and everything. As for Mi-hime- well.." She silenced herself, waiting for Yukino to react.
Cherry:
Despite being quiet, one could see that she was visibly wounded. As if she was stabbed and then sent flying from the explosion of a bomb. Wide eyed and silent, how exactly could the woman respond? It didn't take a genius to figure out the "things" they had been doing. If it was innocent, then... no. There was no rationalizing to be done. Yugure's lip quivered, and in a moment, she bit down on it. Had gloves not been applied, fingernails would drive themselves deep into the bare palms of her hands. Instead, they were simply clenched as fists.
Closing her eyes, fury took over. First instinct dictated Hana would be knocked into a wall if she was physically present. Then... nothing. Hands opened back up and Yugure took a deep, very unsteady breath. If this rage were to be answered by violently beating or even vocally berating Hana, what would that accomplish beyond adding more grief to the matter? No, instead, these upset emotions were forced down, choking on them almost.
Especially after the night with Haruka, this hurt. Even if they had ended it just now, and even if it was because she herself was Missing in Action... The princess mentioned Miyuki, which is another feeling that had surfaced in the queen: curiosity. What on Earth happened to Hana's beloved that led her into doing this?
"Why-"
Yugure shut her mouth. Why? Hana just said why. Though, the girl just wanted more of a concrete, detailed answer. At the same time, she knew it wouldn't make a difference.
Another deep breath.
"... What about Miyuki?"
Hope:
Hana let her react as she did. She didn't know what to expect and expected everything. Nothing to be blamed for. Any violent act or even harsh verbal action would be understandable in this situation. There was none of that, not that Yukino would easily have her way with her anyways if she decided to take any actions learning towards physical assault. That's funny. This was just about the only issue that was getting in the way of them actually bonding.
Would Yukino understand if she knew about Mi-hime's situation? If not then, what then?
"Mi-hime has been sick for the past year, it's the whole reason why I bought my own penthouse and moved out. Mom-san has been helping with her nurses to take care of her. Her parents don't know since they already have enough work to do, we just hide it from them. Well.. Mi-hime is barley ever awake anymore, and when she is, she's usually broken up or weak. I've been taking care of her, mainly using my money from my work as an idol." Hana actually swallowed something back here. The thought was frustrating. No, this is what gave her a drive to keep moving forward.
"I mean, we spent our year anniversary at home, just sitting there. I haven't spoken to her in weeks since she hasn't woken up in that long..." Hana sighed. "I do want her back... but I did feel so lonely."
At least you have your beloved.
Cherry:
While listening, the queen made a mental note to speak with Haruka as everyone returned. Hearing about Miyuki didn't justify things from her own point of view. Though, the four thought it peculiar. An aliment not even mother had cured within the year? There were illnesses like this, but they always had names. The fact that Hana didn't know was enough evidence to show that the bedridden lass suffered from no ordinary affliction. Not even awake most of the time, and when she is, she's in pain... An empty anniversary... Even though she got to have one, it didn't seem Hana was much better than Yugure who was forced to miss her own.
A coherent response still barely formed itself. While there was clear pity for the princess' situation, the queen would have appreciated her boyfriend being left out of it romantically. Deep breath after deep breath, it was taking a lot to figure out how to deal with this. Arms folding, Yugure looked her astral sister in the eye.
"If you regret this, I will not pursue", the woman spoke. Well, she wouldn't keep hounding Hana about it. If she was sorry, then the soldier would feel a lot better if this subject dropped and never came back up again between them. As for pursuing Haruka... well, she had more than a piece of mind to give.
"I didn't know how you were suffering. This explains why I didn't see Miyuki since coming back."
Something to investigate, actually: Miyuki's condition.
"Are you okay, right now?" Yugure inquired. Things have been rougher than imaginable by most for Hana, and hopefully getting this off her chest helped some, if at all.
Hope:
Hana had a lot to say about the situation. Really, lots of reasons on top of reasons as to why it happened and why it kept on going. That really didn't matter, and since it's over, it didn't really affect what was going on now and in the future. Internally she would blame Yukino for not being there to stop her or guide her or make sure that she stood strong during those days where seeing Mi-hime's state would make her break down. With the way she acting now, understanding, Hana could just let that thought pass.
"Im fine, how about you?" She shot the question back in return as a mutual sign of concern.
Though in a more serious tone, something that can be explained as determined, and a power that was earth-shattering, Hana proclaimed, "The only regret I felt was betraying my princess, and not being strong enough to protect her. I promised her that we would journey together to the ends of the Earth, but that would have to wait. To make it up to her I want to scavenge every corner, reaching beyond the ends of the world just to find how to cure her."
Her fists we clenched now, "While I do have some regret in betraying you, it wasn't that deeply ingrained in my mind that I was. Well, that's the reason why I want to talk to you now, to rekindle our lost relationship."
