(GS3) Field: Umano Underground Slums

Hope:
There was something that she noticed with the Underground King whenever Yukino was around, something that had been going on for a year now. He would often only ever take notice to her sister and often look down on her as someone who was to be protected nor would be unable to make a difference in the situation. At times she would be ignored overall. She decided to confront the situation directly this time instead of being passive about it and letting it get to her. He was in her list to be someone who be fighting along her side against the coming threat, and as the Princess, she wasn't going to take such disrespect.

"Hikaru Nagisaki, take out your card. We're going to fight." Thus she sent the challenge. "Four games please."

Cherry:
... Yugure wanted to tell Hana she just failed the test if it was one of bravery. Unlike the snow queen from the past, this soldier was a realist. The invaders had already succeeded in horrifying the Chosen Sword. Seeing how the princess spoke with confidence, and wanted her sister knight to be confident in return, the woman simply refrained from saying anything. "S-Sorry..." she responded to Haruka. It was just a habit she picked up: not sugarcoating anything and being forward about information to allies.

Suddenly, Hana challenged Hikaru. Which kind of confused the queen seeing as the princess mentioned practice...

The girl didn't seem all too comfortable about the invitation into the Cardfight Club, when she was the only one terrified.

Jello:
"Oh, a fight? Sounds good, better make 'em good guys, cause I don't wanna spend a minute longer here than I have to." Haruka shook his head, getting into place to watch the fight. This was going to be a memorable set of fights, because Haruka actually knew both of these fighters to a degree and their playstyle. A princess of Cray and the King of the Underground. What a twist.

Yukino on the other hand became really hesitant. Not about the fights, no. She didn't seem fazed by that really. But when Hana invited her to the club, she seemed puzzled... No, puzzled is more confusion than anything. It was a reluctance to want to join. She seemed totally put off by something else. Maybe the invasion really was getting to her. She knew more about it than anyone else, as far as he knew. Maybe Satoshi knew too? Hana seemed pretty knowledgeable as well, but she had confidence out the wazoo.

"Hey... you alright?" Haruka pulled Yukino aside for a moment as the fights were getting under way. He would spectate for sure, but he had some small things to discuss with his newly reunited beloved.

Cherry:
"I'm... alright."

If she was scared, how would that make Haruka feel? No, no, far better to let everyone have their confidence. It'll help them get through the invasion.

Jello:
He was prepared to press matters further, but making her talk wouldn't really fix anything right now. The subject seemed touchy enough to require her to keep quiet like this. Haruka sighed lightly, brushing his own hair out of the way.

"Alright, if you say so." Haruka was prepared to put trust into Yukino. After all, if he couldn't trust her, what was the point of that whole scenario back in that dark interrogation room. He had to let it be for now and let things take their course. But he was starting to itch for a fight now after watching Hikaru and Hana...
