(GS3) Field: Umano Underground Slums

It's been a few days since the events that took place when the slum's residents were decimated, and left with the sole desire to get their revenge on any person that stood in their way. Tsubasa still remembers the fight with Tsubaki and how he felt like he had gotten stronger from his one day at the slums.

"This deck is improving, but before I can face anyone I have to become stronger....that means I have to revisit the slums once again." he thought as he made his way towards the area of the underground slums.

Upon entering Tsubasa did not feel the same empty feeling that he got from the slums the last time he was here, the aroma was still there, but something else was present...an aura he knew all too well.

"...This feeling...am I going to get to fight you again..?" he thought.

Tsubasa made his way into the slums and started looking for an opponent but to his surprise there was hardly anyone around, most of the people were either asleep or nowhere to be found. All Tsubasa could go on was to follow the aura that he felt upon entering.

"...He's close." as he said this, Tsubasa's deck began to glow faintly to his surprise. "...What on earth..?"

The glow of the deck began to slowly vanish as Tsubasa felt someone approaching him from behind.

"...It's him." he said as he began to turn around.

[Cherry]

Yukino hissed.

This odd feeling occurred whenever Royal Paladin was nearby, intense hatred for them from the black knights had flooded into their queen. She personally didn't hate them, but was greatly angered whenever they were close. They were reaching out to her, and she didn't want them. It was accepted that Yami wasn't worthy of the sword of courage or the holy forces, so she descended to Shadow Paladin. Even so, they continued reaching out.

Because some punk just came in with them.

"Destroy the light", Phantom Blaster roared.

"Whoever has Royal Paladin, stand before me now. I will strike you down", the queen growled.

[OverDrive]

As Tsubasa turned around to face the person who challenged him, he was astonished by the person standing in front of him. Not only did he realize that this lady was the source of the aura he's been sensing but he also could tell that she was strong just by one look.

"...Who is she?" he thought.

Tsubasa did not want to turn down her challenge but he could not help but feel curious as to why she was so fixated on fighting him upon meeting him.

"..Sure, let's do this." he said as both fighters moved towards a close-by fight table.

"Before she challenged me, I heard someone shouting, didn't i?" he thought.

[Helios]

I walk around the slums, seeing nothing but trash everywhere. Then I see something that isn't trash, a cardfight. Is that Tsubasa? Hazama walks over to the ongoing fight, joining in with the crowd to spectate.

Fighting her too? Lets see how this goes down.

[Cherry]

Unlike Kaze's attempt, Tsubasa managed to overthrow the tyrant with a miraculous heal trigger for his sixth damage check. It was only a matter of luck, but Yukino was mostly unfazed by the opponent's attempts to reach out to her. Only that the sight of Blaster Blade upset the queen and rebellion greatly. Taking the loss, instead of blaming it on said luck, she blamed herself. She had to get stronger, that's all there was to it. Collecting the deck and giving thanks, Yami left him. A silent gratitude for helping her realize that there's still improvement to be made.

Tsubasa +1 Affinity

She thought she would've left the slums, but then two strong people appeared. Perhaps there was more here than expected. Deciding to stay, the queen was tended to by the dogs of the underground, concerned for her well being. Those purple, bladed eyes scanned only for blood, not worship. None worthy here, the queen finally left.

[Helios]

Why am I here? Why do I put myself through these things, such as Vangaurd. All of my friends are great fighters, and I am just stuck losing all the time. Sure I made it to Nationals, but still, it was only by dumb luck. Am I fighting for the wrong cause?

Hazama looks over at Tsubasa celebrating his victory over his opponent. "Whatever," he mumbles under his breath. He turns around and starts to exit the slums.

[Kuro]

Haruki and Sydney tested deck after deck for hours on end, helping Haruki learn more about each one's strengths and weaknesses. After a long afternoon spent practicing in the slums, the boy was exhausted and ready to get some rest at home. "So, have you decided on which clan you enjoy most Haruki?" Sydney asked as the end of his training.

Haruki thought about all of the clans he's used that day, but couldn't decide on which he preferred. "I don't know, really. I used to think Spike Brothers was the clan for me, but after experiencing all the fun that could come with using different decks and builds, there's just too many great ones to choose from."

"Sounds like you've got something to think about now. Good luck in your future cardfights kid."

"Thanks for all the help Sydney! I'll fight you again sometime, and be even better than before!" Haruki charged off with a pep in his step and a song in his heart, awaiting his next epic cardfight.

Tsubasa noticed his friend Hazama watching the fight, but the game took too much of his attention that he could not stopto say anything to him during the game. Now that the game is over..

"It's good to see you again man." he said, as he placed his hand on Hazama's shoulder, stopping him from leaving.

"Leaving?" he asked.

[Helios]

"Yes, im leaving. Why else would I be heading toward the exit," Hazama replied to Tsubasa. "Look, I don't want to come across rude, but things have changed."

With Tsubasa's hand leaving his shoulder, Hazama continues walking toward the exit.

[OverDrive]

Tsubasa was atonished, Hazama was never one to walk away like that, something was definitely wrong here.

"Is this really how you plan to achieve your goal Hazama? by walking away?" exclaimed Tsubasa.

"If something is bothering you then you should deal with it, besides you're not as alone as u may think." he said, addressing Hazama.

[Kuro]

While rushing out of the slums, Haruki noticed two of his friends that he'd met before. Tsubasa from Card Capital, and Hazama from the park. It's been a while since he ran into these guys, so Haruki thought it'd be cool to see how they've been doing. He went up to them waving his hand in the air to say hello. "Hey Tsubasa! Hazama! What's up guys?"

[Helios]

"You must really not know me as well as I thought you would. All those goals in the past that  have told you countless times, well they are down the drain." Hazama doesn't even look at Tsubasa when he speaks back to him.

"And I am dealing with my own problems. Let me repeat this once more, you don't know me," Hazama says sharply to the man behind him.

"Haruki, now is not the time," he then says to the other guy running to greet them.

He keeps on walking

Tsubasa runs towards Hazama and stands in front of his path with a sharp look in his eyes.

"I told you before, I know what it's like to fight for something you believe in or a goal that you want to achieve." he said.

"The more uncertain you are the less likely that you're going to win in a game of vanguard, how can you lead your forces when you're not sure if you have what it takes?" he asked.

Tsubasa has had to care for his only family for most of his life, but he never ran away from the challenges, he knew that Hazama was not one to walk away from his goals but if he was to remind him of that then...

"Fight me Hazama, let's see if you really have given up." he said, while pointing his deck at his friend.

[Helios]

Hazama studies Tsubasa and his actions. "I can lead my forces just fine thank you. But if you insist, we will fight here, in the slums, no special rulings as those are for the weak."

Hazama tosses Tsubasa a fight glove. "Lets see if you have what it takes to withstand the power these gloves can contain. As every time we take a point of damage, lets just say it will be a 'shocking' surprise.

Hazama walks over to the fight table, puts on the glove, and sets his vanguard down on the circle.

[Kuro]

It looked like Tsubasa and Hazama were getting pumped up for an epic cardfight. Haruki was noticed how intent they were intent on making this fight awesome, so he reached into his bag and pulled out some popcorn.  A fight like this could give him good experience with how they used their clans too, so that would be omega useful. He reached into his bag once more for a radio, and put it on the intense music channel.

"This should make the fight even more amazing!" the boy said with a smile.
