shirii:
"Huh?" Dalis froze, eyes widened in shock. "You don't know my name? I figured I was a common name round my hometown!" She laughed, retracting her whip and spinning it deftly into her sleeve, bringing out a business card and holding it up for the other girl to see. "Dalis Strophia, more commonly known by my stage name 'Fantasia' at your service!" She declared, bowing with a silly smirk on her face.

She straightened up, adjusting her hair to the side. "I usually go around to where the cards tell me to in between performances, but thankfully I'm on a break. Right now I'm just going where the cards tell me to and seeing what happens!" She explained, and in one fluid motion swiped the business girl back into her sleeve and had pulled out a deck from seemingly nowhere. She flipped it around to the bottom card, where an extravagant Crimson Beast Tamer rested softly. "See? They told me to come here! Then I had a feeling I should talk to you! I do not know why!"

Cherry:
Dalis Strophia...?

Nope, didn't ring a bell.

"I don't think I've heard of your name or stage name", Yukino broke the unfortunate news to the girl. Even so, she took the business card to have a look at it. While glancing at the sleeve and feeling the urge to question the whip... a simple shrug and focusing back on Dalis' identity put it out of mind. Bubbly enough to bring calm in the air of the conversation, with pretty fashion sense to boot, she was already on the queen's good side. Smiling, she looked back up at the performer after the business card was returned, listening to what else she had to say. Something about going where the cards tell her to go made Hikari giggle.

...

Wait, what?!

Yukino's eyes widened, her bladed eyes fixated on Crimson Beast Tamer. Yet another communicate for Cray?! How many were there?! The shock of a new person like this left her unresponsive, only staring at the deck.

shirii:
"What's up? You still haven't even told me your name, if I may say so." Dalis joked, face contorted in a sad grin. "Perhaps I don't mean anything to you?" With a hearty laugh, she took the Crimson Beast Tamer, while her deck vanished in thin air. "I perform at a circus, and this clan spoke to me in multiple ways - literally and figuratively." Her eyes surveyed the other girl, the air around her different. Royal, imperial, commanding. The way she stared at Dalis, and her cards, was unnerving, yet Dalis didn't back down. Since when did she back down? She'd done scarier things in her acts.

Cherry:
"Huh? Oh... right", Yukino had completely lost herself for a minute. She's been lost in thought with moments like these in the past three days, and it was starting to get on her nerves. A queen isn't fit to be constantly staring off into space, goddammit. Shaking her head and finally speaking, "My name is-"

Nope. Another important key, Blaster Blade made her spurt out her name chosen by Cray.

"Hikari Espoir".

Yukino enjoyed being the chosen one, but she loathed that name. It was just mind-numbingly cliche, and anything with "kari" in it sounded far too cute for a woman of her esteem. The queen was not cute, rather, she was beautiful and majestic. Cute fits Hana. ... Well, nothing to do about it now. This name was important to other Vanguards of Cray, and Cray as a whole, so it was simply an annoyance to take with a grain of salt.

"The cards speak to you... can you talk to them back? And have... conversations?" Inquiries were beginning, and they were somewhat more embarrassing than she thought they'd be. How exactly do you go about questioning someone's connection to a distant planet via magic? Was this the kind of interrogation she'd have to give Satoshi later? Ergh, that just sent chills down her spine.

shirii:
Dalis eyed Hikari, unsure of the other girl. She nervously twirled her hair, eyes unsure.

"Uh..huh. Doesn't fit you, if you don't mind me saying." Dalis said, with the same confidence she always projected. "Well, yeah. I can only have conversations with Crimson Beast Tamer, but all the cards say things. I just can't talk back to most of them. And well, in a Cardfight, it's usually more short words and emotions. Like gut instincts." She explained, hand resting on her hip. She talked about it as casually as if it was about what she wanted for dinner.
