(GS3) Field: Cardfight Training Area
Jello:
Gulp.
"N-No it's not like that I swear! I was just watching the fight! You two seemed really confident and I-"
You really are bad with women.
Haruka's mouth hangs half open before biting his lip and moving his eyes around the area, observing he isn't the only one around. He finally stands up straight and looks straight at them.
"This is kind of a misunderstanding. I just wandered around and ended up here. I didn't want to interrupt, but watching that fight was way too good to pass up. And I'm not a pervert, at least not compared to that one guy in the park. What was his name again... Well it's not important. Anyways, err, uhm, I'm sorry about this."
Haruka's eyes fall closed as he bows as an apology, hands by his side.
Wow. You actually did it. Remind me to buy you a drink later.
Haruka smiled a little as he stood up straight.
Cherry:
Yukino glared swords into this man from the bush, almost literally. Her bladed eyes metaphorically stabbed him with her fury. But it was quelled by Satoshi's voice.
First thing's first:
"What the hell happened to your voice?!"
Beryl:
Satoshi blushed a little, clearly embarassed. "Well...I had to get new clothes because this idol I met named Ighanna thought I was a stalker, and I spent the night trapped in a trash can...but for some reason, my usual demeanor isn't quite up to standard..."
He shook his head. "But I'm here to ask you about that 'chosen one' thing you mentioned when we played. You said only the chosen could talk to their units. Am I one of those chosen?"
Cherry:
Yukino froze in silence for a moment.
"How in the hell do clothes- never mind", this line of thinking was a complete waste of time. Emphasized with a smack to her own forehead, she wiped the hand down her face. Then, proceeding to take a breath of calm, answering his second inquiry came next.
"I haven't the foggiest idea, but I'd assume not. Not in the same sense of importance of myself, anyway. Neo Nectar is simply a clan of nurturing nature, little impact compared to Royal Paladin. Then again, no one is as important as me", denying any hint of Satoshi's significance, if there was any, the queen went on to praise herself. Truly, the difference of relevance between the two clans was marginally large, and that reflected on their human vanguards. Chuckling lightly, she simply came to a realization: everyone who could also talk to their cards except the Espoirs were nothing more than that. The escalating destiny Hikari was gifted with cannot be bestowed onto another, not even Hana, but she was close.
These people had something in common with her at least, so she won't feel like the only one.
Beryl:
"Oh...I see..."
Disappointed a bit, Satoshi scratched the back of his head. "Well, thanks for telling me, darlin'---I-I mean, Miss Yuki." He gave a little bow to recognize her status, and turned to potentially walk away, hands in his pockets.
<Is it really that worthless a skill?...> he thought to himself.
