(GS3) Field: Cardfight Training Area
Golden Sage NovaRaizer:
Darren frowned at the question. He did know where she was but bringing someone to see her probably wasn't a good idea. He sighed in thought for a moment then said, "I was gonna go see her anyway. You might as well come with me if you wanna see her." With what had been happening up to now, he didn't know who to trust. In Yugure's weakened state she couldn't defend herself, but hopefully he would be able to defend her if it came to that.
He walked back to the medical area that Yugure was being held in, stopping at the hallway to see that Seifer was there with her. He couldn't see or tell what they were saying because he entered the room too late for that, but whatever it was, it seemed to have left Seifer distraught. He must have missed something important.
Beryl:
Satoshi followed him, only to realize, when they got to the room, that this was probably his worst idea in a very, very long time. He was still technically marked, Reversed, all of that, and yet here he was on the doorstep of someone who was most likely to cut him up into tiny pieces for being part of the invaders' plan.
Maybe there was a chance she'd understand that this was her chance to get as much data out of him as possible and maybe find the Seed from it as well? Seifer must've relayed the information at some point, right?
Right?...He was sweating super hard.
Cherry:
Yunos was definitively wanting to hear what Mordred was going to say, but he refrained from bugging about it. Plus, how the hell was he here? Yugure honestly just wasn't in the mood and made note to ask about it later. Him not having his full memory in tact didn't sound like too much of a problem, seeing as he was able to remembering losing himself in the first place. The woman folded her arms, listening closely to the report. She and the Paladins noticed the Reverse mark was gone, but they were still sure to keep an eye on Seifer. There was worry about his state of health with those eyes, however... Seifer was hesitating to tell something he remembered - something important, obviously. Yugure stopped herself from screaming "spit it out!".
Then all at once she wished Seifer had never said anything. Of course it was Sera, it only makes sense it was that menace who plagued Haruka's mind. He's the cause of this... Sera officially earned himself one of the top two spots of people she would cruelly and brutally tear to shreds. Though, that wasn't anything that didn't catch her off guard. It was the second part. A bit about the hospital. Yugure had never even known he was in the hospital... and that he was gone. Her heart stopped beating, and all she yearned for was for it to not do so ever again. Unfortunately, it didn't listen and kept pulsing.
Again, words failed. This devastation brought steadily, then hastily increasing ache. It started in her chest, then came back to her arms, then was everywhere all in seconds. Haruka was dead, and she never even got to see him in the hospital... never getting a chance to see him and try to cure whatever was wrong with him.
"Hope...?" Her voice was breaking apart, trembling, and tears poured down her cheeks. "... Don't... give me that..."
She almost snapped.
"Hope... does nothing... Repaying me... I..."
Yugure looked down at her shaking hands, these useless hands that could never do anything right for anyone. This tool of a woman who wanted to find purpose as a human failed in being both a sword and a person over and over. The loss of her lover was the last nail required to take "faith" and "hope" in her heart and shatter it.
"... Thank you for the report." Was offered, attempting to regain her composure and stoic nature. As usual, she was failing at it.
... I should have know this would happen... This is why I wanted to be Yugure - why I didn't want to keep being human... It's easier to be a sword... a sword... doesn't have a heart.
Cipher Izanagi:
Seifer's gaze switched for a moment before shaking his head, Mordred looking between the two. "Yeah, Yugure... No. Yukino. That's who you really are. I know this hurts just... Don't withdraw away. ...That's not who you are. You're not a sword, you're not a weapon. You're a person, just like me... Just like everyone else." he bit his lip shutting his eyes and clenching his fists. "Haruka was like a brother to me... It was rough, so I can't imagine what you feel. But instead of bottling it up..." he sighed. "You're pretty much my nee-san. So it was hard for me at all to mention anything to you about it. I don't care that we don't know each other that well. You rescued me from my darkness. To me you're like family. ...I don't want to see you like that." he might get some kind of look or hate from Yunos but whatever. Mordred was just kind of chilling there.
"So please, don't just erase who you really are from this world." he bit his lip again, grinding his teeth a little, even drawing a bit of blood from his lip. He was stressed out, and at this point just venting. He wasn't sure if she'd even listen to reason like this. He figured he wouldn't if he got the same message about Rosalia. But still... There was at least hope, and he was going to try to get it back no matter what happened.
Cherry:
Another person fawning over his Vanguard?! Yunos decided that it may be high time to start messing people up-
Ahmes kicked him into the wall.
It was sweet to hear Seifer's words, but doing everything possible to erase her consciousness was all that kept her going for the last two years... one... It was a headache just thinking about it. Yukino was nothing more than a bag of flesh who couldn't do anything. The only difference between her and Yugure is that Yugure deeply wanted to forget she was a person. To an extent, it worked, having lost the ability to enjoy life or have casual conversations with others without being incredibly awkward and lost. Being a soldier gave her purpose that didn't require emotion. If there was no feelings... she couldn't be hurt. Not like how much she was hurt now...
"Nee-san..."
Lest she not forget she's already a failure of an older sister for Hana, so being like a sister for Seifer only risked the same thing. Part of her wanted to believe in not withdrawing herself from the world, but the majority of her being yearned to detach as to not feel this way again. The anguish overtaking her was indescribable, and still she held back sobbing. A sword doesn't have a heart, so it can't cry either.
Yugure sat down, unable to lose herself in the mentality of being an object again. That minority in her heart wanted to pour out a waterfall of feelings bottled up for years. She wouldn't let it...
"Thank you, Seifer."
But she at least let it do that.
