"Maiden of Trailing Rose! Petal Storm!" Ighanna yelled as her Avatar dealt Hazama's 6th Damage, unfortunately it wasn't a heal trigger.
Ighanna had an extremely good game, despite Hazama suffering from gradelock, her rode quite an interesting card, Blade Wing Reijy huh. Knowing that there are still many knowledge unknown to her, she gets worked up to explore the world of vanguard even more!
Soon Ighanna's chauffeur arrived and Ighanna enters the car saying good bye to her two new fellow cardfight friends, Hazama and Haruki.

The game was okay, ended quicker than I thought. What really put me down was G-Assisting first turn and not many soul charges. Overall the game was fun, and I got to see Neo Nectar used the first time.
Hazama turns to the people around them, "Well guys I got to go and get some dinner, and it was really nice fighting you all. I hope we will meet up sometime." He turns around and walks toward the Train Station. As usual he continues walking but turns his head around and says, "I will be out in the city later tonight if you want to cardfight again."

Now that everyone parted ways, Haruki went over to the tree to check the lucky bird's nest. He climbed up and looked in to see more items: a toy car, a spoon, and some bird's eggs? It was interesting, but he left the eggs there and took the other items.
"These don't look as valuable as before," Haruki said to himself as he jumped from the tree with ease. "I guess I'll keep them in my collection for now, then show everything to Manager when I go back tonight." He relaxed in the park for the rest of the time.

Azien vs Tsubasa Hayato
After losing 3 in a row the red eyed beast was no more. Not caring were he ended up he came to a park. There he saw kids card fighting which at the moment disgusted him. Scanning across the park with his red eyes he saw a man sitting near a bench deep in thoughts holding a vanguard deck. He thought it odd, even beginning known as the red eyed beast he had a heart. Feeling that the man my be feeling lonely he challenged him to a card fight. He thought winning would make his record 5-3, but he didn't think losing would make his record worse like 4-4. Which happens after losing to the strange man.

Tsubasa was still unsure on whether he should continue playing vanguard or not, so he decided to go to the park and try to get some peace of mind from it.
"....I only started playing this game recently and yet.....it's started to get to me after just 4 days." thought Tsubasa, as he continued staring at his deck.
He thought about his situation for what seemed to be hours until the silence around the bench he was seated upon broke with a challenge from a stranger.
"Something wrong?" questioned the stranger.
"I'm fine..." replied Tsubasa.
"That might be the case in your opinion, but from where i'm standing I see a person who wants to be alone for some reason."
Tsubasa was surprised, for a moment he felt like this person was able to see through him, but in reality he himself was unable to see what this matter has done to him. He started to realize that he was running away from his problems instead of trying to face them.
"If there is something you want to settle, settle it with me, here and now!" exclaimed the stranger, as he revealed his vanguard deck challenging Tsubasa to a cardfight.
Despite his situation and his desire to stay away from the game at the moment, Tsubasa found himself unable to refuse the challenge as the cardfight ensued between the two.
Even with both players gradelocked, they each mustered their strength and pushed the other with all their strength, Tsubasa with his paladins and the stranger with his dinosaurs. In the end Tsubasa was able to win the cardfight.
"That was a well fought game." said the stranger with a smile.
"...Thank you same to you." replied Tsubasa.
"He's right, I have to find my answers for myself and if the path of vanguard will help me reach those answers then that is where I am headed." he thought, as a smile began to take shape on his face.
"...Thanks again...I did not catch your name.." said Tsubasa.
"Azien is the name, and you?"
"Tsubasa, Tsubasa Hayato is my name."
"I look forward to fighting you again Tsubasa."
"As do I."
Both fighters began to part, each with a goal that only they know.
"Vanguard, here I come!" thought Tsubasa, as he started on his way home.

Yukino found her way to a bench, and sat down after coming from the Regional Qualifiers. The queen... tried to lose herself in thought, closing her eyes. Alas, it was a hopeless effort. Under the impression that showing the world the might of her destiny was necessary to be Cray's Vanguard... she felt like she lost her purpose. The holy knights tried to console their vanguard, but tears came rolling down her cheeks all too quickly.
Hikari failed.
More importantly, she failed Blaster Blade. She failed Alfred.
Beginning to sob, the queen cupped her face in hand, covering it as she cried.
The desire to change Jellal was strong, but how could she like this?!
Like... this...
Blaster Blade remained silent after his words couldn't heal. He instead, praised everyone for their good work with Alfred. Though she lost, they weren't going to accept anyone else. Not these paladins, not these cards on her personage. A queen... a friend, they swore loyalty.

Haruki saw the sun setting and knew that Card Capital was closing soon. He packed his bag and rushed off to the shop so he could speak with Manager. While running through the park he noticed a girl sitting on a bench with tears in her eyes, maybe feeling a bit down. Haruki gave a thumbs up to her while in mid-run and shouted out, "Hey! Believe in yourself!" Then he was gone.

What...?
Yukino moved her hands from her eyes for a moment, watching the boy who shouted at her run off... That... made her feel a little better about this, at least. Not a whole lot, but it was something.

Rushing through the park, Haruka finds himself running at this point in order to keep from letting loose any waterworks. "Stand back up. Stand back up. Stand back up!!" Haruka is running through the park yelling this, in order to pump himself up. He missed his opportunity at Nationals but he can't let himself fall over flat.
"Stand back- huh?" Haruka looks over to who he believes to be Yukino. But that couldn't be Yukino. The Queen's aura is completely gone. It's as if her entire personality took a U-turn and completely flipped. She seemed to be holding her face in her hands, hearing the sound of sobs coming from that direction. "No way."
"Looking to be a savior right now?"
Haruka stared at her for a moment, mouth agape.
Instinctively, Haruka called out but only softly enough that if she even managed to hear him through her own wails would he continue to approach her. He felt as though this wasn't his place to be, but couldn't just leave her alone. "Y-Yukino?"
"Nailed it."

Satoshi sighed. He had failed, alright. Was he really a champion of Neo Nectar if he went and lost like this? Or was this just a test and nationals wasn't the point?
Who knows. All he knew was he was a bit disappointed, and he needed to cool off a bit. He went to the park, only to discover Yukino with her head in her hands, crying a bit, and Haruka there comforting her. Looks like the two of them didn't make it either. Awkward.
He placed a hand on Yukino's shoulder. "So I take it you two didn't make it either, huh..."

A sniffle, wiping away some tears with her fingers, it still didn't stop the waterworks. Hikari was rather happy to see these two, however. She kept ditching them both and felt back, but, even Haruka who she kneed, came to check on her. That's what she'd like to think, anyway.
"No... I-I didn't make it..."

"Huh..." Haruka's eyes freeze for a moment. "You guys... didn't make it?" He blinks a couple of times before the realization hits him.
"Well I guess we aren't making it to the Grand Stage, huh, Satoshi?" Haruka smiles weakly at him, shrugging. "Maybe one day. I still want that fight though. Eventually..." Haruka wipes away a few of his own tears, hoping nobody notices. "You know, I was really excited too. To play the stronger people. It was a whole new experience I was excited for. I wanted to crush Satoshi." Haruka chuckles, obviously joking. "I wanted to make, er- I wanted to make people proud." Haruka stumbles over his own words choking as he cries a bit more.
He holds his head high, looking up at Yukino and Satoshi. "I want to save everybody. That's all I ever wanted. Or at least, that's how it was. For a long time. But I realized something... People don't need saving. Knights in armor don't come and save the girl anymore. And superheroes don't exist." Haruka brushes the hair away from his eyes, sniffling. "So I want to make everybody proud. If I can't save them, I want them to remember me."
Haruka breathes out one giant sigh before looking up, signature goofy grin and tears and all. "Y'know?"
