Neo noticed that Tsubasa and Hana were about to cardfight so Neo took out his portable cardfight table.
"Here guys, fight on this" Neo said putting the table down

Tsubasa was surprised at Hana's sudden challenge but he wanted to test out his new strength against a good player.
"..Maybe if I cf her I can understand what is bothering her...besides I need to see what this deck can do now" he thought.
"Alright let's do this, thanks Neo." he said.

"Hey Seifer," Haruki said to the man as he walked over to them. A fight between Tsubasa and Hana began, and it looked like another fun match. Haruki watched the game with his friends.

Tsubasa was certain that something was bothering Hana, he tried to understand what was bothering her, whatever was making her lonely sure seemed to bother her a lot. As the fight proceeded Tsubasa thought of a way to cheer her up, so he decided to make the game as enjoyable as he can, he found that Hana was a strong opponent as always so he kept smiling to ease her up a bit.
"..I don't about you Hana, but i'm enjoying this game, the performance sure is impressive." he said.
He noticed that his attempts were not doing much, so he decided to show her what her Vanguard is about, he promised to give strength to his comrades and those he cared about. So now he had to do so for Hana.
"..I've changed since the last time I met you, I used to try to accumulate as much strength for myself so that I can shoulder all the problems for myself and for others...but now I will give my strength to my comrades and together -deck, hand and Vanguard circle begin to glow- we will achieve out goals." he said, as a card appeared mysteriously in his hand in place of his grade 3 card.
"....Thank you...Enter the fray Radiant Lion! Crossride, Platina Ezel!!" he said, as placed the new grade 3 unit on his vanguard circle. This was his testament to evolving as a person and as a cardfighter.
Tsubasa unleashed the full power of his new unit as much as he could, but in the end Hana was able to push him back too far, as the 6th damage fell on his damage zone.
"...I may have lost, but i'm glad I got to fight you again, hopefully we can do so again -extends hand- cuz you're a friend of mine now young lady." he said with a smile.
"..I will master you, Platina Ezel, the World Circuit will be our stage." he thought.

Neo was surprised to see Tsubasa evolve Ezel to his ultimate Evolution: Platina Ezel. When the cardfight ended he took out his deck and looked at his Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion card and started thinking to himself outloud without realizing it:
"Tsubasa evolved his Ezel because he realized what he needed to realize, and he didnt stray from his goal nor his path. I look at myself and everything I have gone through. Trying to help Neu, then realizing what I was doing was wrong. I could have had a great cardfight with Jellal back then but I was so obbessed with helping Neu back then, I lost the fun of the game for Vanguard" Neo said to himself outloud
Tsubasa kept asking Hana if she was having fun. It wasnt the wrong question to ask but everyone could tell Hana wasnt her normal self in those cardfights at times. Most of the people in the area knew that she had hit hard times, especially with the sealing of the clans. Dealing with that stress, not many people can actually get through it. We all saw how Yukino felt. She wanted to take her own life, but everyone convinced her and showed her that she wasnt alone throughout this whole mess. All of her friends were by her side. And thats exactly what Tsubasa showed Hana, as well as evolving his Ezel Avatar.
"Nice cardfight both of you" Neo said when the fight finished.
Neo was happy for Tsubasa and all but was frustrated at the same time. He wanted Vermillion to evolve too but he knew the time wasnt now. But he was truely happy for his friend Tsubasa, whos time to evolve was now. The flight for New York leaves tomorrow and Neo was determined to get better before that time. But as people like Neu, Tsubasa and Haruki have showed him, Neo promised to play for fun. No matter what.
"No matter what, this time I wont stray from my path" Neo said to himself.

The sympathy was annoying, but she didn't want to push anyone away. Despite the fact she did so naturally. She didn't know why at this point, but she was so bothered by people's existences that she wished to be alone despite it being the last thing she wanted. What made it worse was that he was using Gold Paladin. Blonde Ezel reminded him of Yukino and the further disappointment that it was. She didn't want to feel this way but the events of late really have been weighing down on her. She's never at peace unless she is singing, or just in silence, all alone. At the same time she hates it. Everything she does is just a pain. Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel, Ezel's evolution and the one that would unseal the clans. It looked great and all, but it better not mess up, that's all she thought of it.
As for his extended hand she decided not to take it. She didn't need the sympathy. In fact, it only reminded of her of when her sister would treat her like baby. More like, when everyone did. She wanted to get strong on her own, not just in Vanguard, but in everything. The last thing she needs is someone to actually show her what "their Vanguard" is especially since she doesn't even like the game in the first place. It was a nice game with a fancy card all in all, but Platina Ezel was just as big of a walking disappointment as Yukino was until he actually did his job.
"Nice games," she said, walking over to Pr<3ism to pick her up.

Seifer watched the two fighters quietly, only speaking to say hello in return to Haruki. When the fights were over he clapped, though now it seemed to him the fight was something... else. At least to those fighters. He was still new to the place, and really only knew Haruki and Neo. That being said, when Neo burst out saying what he did, it made him feel even further from those around him. He felt his own purpose was missing, though unlike Neo he didn't say anything, rather, he moved to the back slightly... quietly watching.

"Amazing fight!" Haruki was omega excited after seeing the two fighters battle it out with their clans. The surprising twist towards the end with Tsubasa riding the next Ezel was a big climax in their fight. Haruki was on the edge of his seat the whole time even though he was standing up. As the fight finished with Hana's victory, the young man of justice could tell they had a great cardfight.
"Nice one, Tsubasa. Didn't expect an awesome ride like that at the end." His friend was able to get a major boost to his deck with this fight. At that moment, he thought that there could be a way to boost his deck as well with a strong enough bond with his clan.
"You too Hana. Nice plays with your deck." A powerful fighter like her who was even able to get a win on Tsubasa with his evolved Ezel must be good. Just then, he remembered where he remembered this girl from. Hana was the new National Champion, so it was no wonder she played this well. He then spoke to the group as a whole.
"So after that epic cardfight, let's have some more fun." Haruki's earnest smile showed that he was set on having a good time with his friends. After all, they could use the fun before the big competition tomorrow.

Hana turned down Tsubasa's handshake it seemed like she was unimpressed or uninterested, she wanted to be isolated. It was understandable, Tsubasa felt a similar feeling at one point before, so for now he decides to take the same front as Fei and decides to give Hana some space until she heals the same way he did over the years.
"..I understand Hana, please don't think that I am being sympathetic, I just wanted the cardfight to give us both the same level of enjoyment." he said, as he turned his head to face Hana's direction.
"I only extended my hand to make you understand that I consider you a friend, I hope you feel better soon." he said.
"It was an enjoyable game indeed Neo, just the kind of practice I needed for the circuit tomorrow." he said, facing Neo. "Thanks for letting us use the table."

She picked up her dog who was still on the bench and carried her. Since the competition was tomorrow, she decided that she should head over to the shopping district in order buy some necessary supplies. She put her deck back into her bag and walked off, looking back the others, "If anyone wants to go buy stuff for tomorrow, they can come with." That was her invitation in a roundabout way.

Neo watched Hana walk out the park and then turned to face Tsubasa, Haruki and Seifer.
"Anytime Tsubasa" Neo said putting his table away.
Sure, lets have fun for the rest of today" Neo said to Haruki

"First things first, I think Hana is right to go out for supplies. We don't want to be empty-handed when we get to New York." Haruki knew that Hana made a good decision just then, and her open invitation was a chance for the guys to get some good supplies for tomorrow as well. "Besides, I'm sure we'll find something fun to do out there too."

"I agree...besides if we get the chance to have some fun, maybe it'll help cheer her up." he said.
"Aside from the Circuit we need to be prepared for flight you guys." he said, as he began to walk in the direction Hana was taking.
Generally Tsubasa does not act cheerful much, but his main goal at the moment is to have some fun with his friends before travelling to NY, that includes Hana along with Neo and Haruki.

Well, he didn't know whether or not he'd fit in with this group or what, but Seifer decided to follow along with Haruki and Neo, if they chose to go with the other two that Seifer still did not know yet. However, he'd probably still remain at the back of the group, kind of quiet.

Neo decided to follow everyone else to go with Hana to the district. Hoping to cheer up Hana as she left looking sad, Neo walked with the group to the district to catch up
