Sky sighed "
Welp guess you can't win the all."
As he finished waving good bye to Rose.
"That girl's going to go far in vanguard, I can just tell."
Sky said with a smile. Sky remembered he had work tomorrow so it was time to go to sleep. His last tjoughts befroe he startged walking were based on his words to Rose.
"You should join a club."; "I wonder if the school has a cardfight club, if they do I bet they'll need a faculty advisor."
As Sky thought this a huge grin grew on to his face.

Satoshi chuckled at the wave back and called over with a bit of a tease at his interaction with the girl.
"I was going to chat you up a bit but you seem a little preoccupied there."

Rosalia giggled again, releasing her housemate and moving so that they could walk again with her by his side.
"Mhm~ I didn't see anyone though like Neo and Tsubasa in class though.. Am I younger than everyone else?..."
she asked sincerely, wondering if she would have to go through the entire school year without at least one 'favorite friend' in class.
"Actually, I just had a cardfight against Sky, that guy from the dry cleaners? He's apparently the new janitor at our high school too... Oh, I won though. It was really close, but I won.. ironically with a crit and a draw at the end."
The redhead scratched her head in thought, wondering why it was always a crit and a draw she had gotten. Maybe it was just luck. Glancing at her companion to make sure he was paying attention, she saw him waving to someone else. Rosalia looked to see who it was, but didn't recognize the male, but he seemed to notice her. A bright blush filled her cheeks as she shook her head, waving her arms in front of her.
"E-e-eh?? No no no! Don't tell me you think we're together like the others do... We're just friends!"

Satoshi laughed. He had actually seen this girl react in the same manner before and it was equally as adorable as it was before. Still sounded like a bit of a fib, but then again, it could just be her dream to be that way eventually. Who knows.
"Pay me no mind, darlin'. I used to spend a lot of time around two people that tended to act this way. Maybe a bit more extreme, but even so."
He hopped to his feet from the bench and extended his hand to Seifer in a bit of an arm wrestling motion, indicating he wanted a popular greeting, which was a hand clasp to shoulder bump. This was, as he learned in America, a greeting between brothers in arms. Sure, Satoshi had tried to remain pretty distant from people, but while he was away, Fortuna had given him a directive to maintain contact with as many of the five Heroes of Liberation as possible. Jellal, of course, was going to prove to be the most difficult to contact, but meeting up with Seifer didn't seem all that difficult.

Seifer rubbed the top of Rosalia's head like he usually when telling her she did a good job at something, and was still proud of her that she'd won. It showed to, however when Satoshi made his way over with the peculiar greeting, Seifer obliged clasping his hand and doing as they had seen in America.
"You wouldn't happen to mean Haruka and Yukino would you?"
the brunette asked after letting go and stepping back again to Rosalia's side. He obviously had stopped caring if people thought they were an item since it just wasn't going to work telling people no anymore.

Rosalia swore that Seifer, standing by her side, could feel the heat radiating from the female's face. She wanted to curl up in a corner and pray that the teasing would end eventually, but that was probably going to happen anytime soon. So she sighed instead, trying to accept it all as she rubbed her arm, taking deep breaths to calm herself. When her cheeks were an acceptable shade again, she glanced at Satoshi with a small wave.
"I-i don't think we've met.. I'm Rosalia Mooncrest. It's nice to meet you... So, how do you and Seifer know each other?.. I guess you guys were friends from about a year ago?.."

Satoshi bit his lip. Haruka and Yukino...the former he had seen and interacted with at least slightly recently, but he needed to speak to him in private about...things he had observed. And the latter...she didn't respond to texts, she didn't answer calls; it was like Yukino had passed on. Of course, he assumed he would have been messaged about it if it had happened, but...
He nodded. "Those two're quite the item. At least, from what I remember." He gave a slight smile, then turned to Rosalia.
"Nice to meet you, darlin'." He gave a courteous little bow. "I'm Satoshi Kurosaki. Seifer and I are both
Heroes of Liberation
. Guess he didn't mention the five of us all that much."
He returned his attention to Seifer. "School's out for the day, I take it?"

"Yeah, school's out for the day."
lowering his bag to his side, he placed a hand on his opposite hip as well shrugging slightly and glancing down at Rosalia.
"I didn't initially tell her about the War of Liberation stuff because of the circumstances on how we met. See, I'd run away from home cause my father took Kagero away from me again."
as if to confirm, Seifer pulled out the deck that was in his black deck case showing the bottom card to Satoshi. Blaster Dark Revenger, Shadow Paladin. Putting it away he sighed shaking his head again.
"After that, I kind of just drifted consciously a little, with Shadow Paladin keeping me just barely together. When Tsubasa brought it up, I explained at length what happened a year ago, but I didn't go into detail about who the champions were... Neo spilled that part though."
shrugging once more he placed a hand on top of Rosalia's head looking down at her.
"Part of my reasoning for not telling her the whole truth though was to protect her innocence of the game. I didn't want to get her even remotely involved in case something else came up. But, I guess that's to late now, isn't it."

...Oh. Awkward.
Satoshi raised an eyebrow at his loss of Kagero again. Did his father want to protect the clan from being lost again in his hands? It kind of served as a good segway, if anything, as he held up his own case, the unfamilar gold that, of his friends, Yukino was the only one to have seen before.
"Well, you're not the only one playing for a different team."

Rosalia opened her mouth to say something about the Heroes of Liberation. Though that's not how she learned the name, she was just told Champions, it wasn't hard to figure out what they were referring to. She shut her mouth and her eyes as Seifer's hand rested on her head. She sighed silently to herself, looking at the ground as she took Seifer's hand in both of her's, removing it from her head.
"It's okay..."
was all she mumbled. Out of instinct, she reached into her schoolbag and withdrew a purple deck box, rubbing her thumbs over where she wanted to make some designs on it. But in truth, she was just thinking back to a year ago. Everything she was told so far invaded her thoughts, and she wondered how much everything had changed since then.
I'm not like everyone else... I wasn't there to help when things went bad... I'm just the new girl in the group...

Seifer sighed once poking the female's arm.
"Stop that. Just relax and enjoy the game. Enough of this war of liberation crap."
he spoke to both of them.
"It happened, it's behind us, and while it's cool and all you and I were a part of it Satoshi, I think it'd be best not to live in the past like that. We got congratulated for it. But we need to keep going forward."
he sighed before rummaging through his bag for a drink he'd made sure to pack, pulling out a bottle of water and opening it, drinking some down. When a quarter of the bottle was gone, he wiped his lips on the back of his hand, closing the bottle again.
"Sorry if I'm over reacting, it just... Bugs me. All I've heard about since I've gotten back is "War of Liberation" this, "War of Liberation" that. I'm just... tired of hearing about it at this point."
he sighed scratching the back of his head. It didn't help that Seifer was the martyr of sorts, being the first to go down with a clan he hadn't clicked with very well.

Rosalia lifted her head just enough to look up at her housemate when he paused in his rant-speech to take a drink, keeping quiet until he had completely finished. She wasn't even a part of this War of Liberation, and she was part of those that were constantly reminding Seifer of probably a very bad time. She rubbed her arm where he had poked her, poking his arm in return.
"I'm sorry.. I won't ask anymore.. Maybe in the meantime, you can help me think of ways to improve my fighting?.. I wanna be able to beat Noel one day.."

Satoshi bit his lip again. Seifer wasn't wrong. People were pretty preoccupied with the War of Liberation and its Heroes to the point that life didn't really make sense. After all, it was partially the reason he went off to Hawaii in the first place. He wanted to stop thinking about problems and troubles about Cray. But it was the only subject matter he was familiar with any of the Heroes about...well, except maybe Jellal. Who knows where he was though.
He shook his head. "Sorry. I shouldn't have mentioned it." He wiggled the deck box a little bit. "I've been trying not to think about it myself, s'why I took a lot of time away from here. Ended up on this deck as a result."
Rosalia asked about ways to improve her fighting, which brought him out of the funk he was about to dip into. "Well, there's a lot of ways. What do you play? I ain't exactly a jack of all trades but I can try to help you out if I can."

Rubbing the back of his head, he glanced away sighing. He shouldn't of had an outburst rant like that. He should of just stayed quiet.
'It doesn't matter what I think or feel. It's insignificant...'
he mentally told himself before looking at the female and thinking.
"The only thing really coming to mind... oh I know... Join the Cardfight Club with me. That and we'll take a look at your deck."
Even though he wasn't asked though he looked at Satoshi to answer for her, since he was already in the middle of talking.
"She actually plays Pale Moon. It suits her surprisingly well really.'

Rosalia was about to answer Satoshi, only for Seifer to beat her to it. A familiar warmth filled her cheeks as she held the box closer with one hand, scratching her cheek with the other.
"A-ah, yeah.. like he said. I play Pale Moon.. My avatar is Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier, and I use a Silver Thorn deck with a few exceptions... Actually I've been wanting to check out if there's more Silver Thorns or not... Purple Trapezist is a good card, but she can't be called with Ana or Marichika..."
She trailed off, thinking more about what she possibly wanted to change in her deck, though without an idea of any other Silver Thorns available, she wasn't sure where to begin. Actually, she didn't remember seeing a cardshop in the shopping district, or maybe she just missed it.
"Wait... Huh?! There's a Cardfight Club at school?!?"
