Jello:
The transfer was complete regardless... To one of them anyways.

There was something acting as a barrier to Seifer. What had happened was, well simply this. The body of the host that Sera was occupying was acting as an electricity source, allowing the power or Lock to flow freely through the circuit. He is technically able to use maintained-eye contact to activate the Lock as well, but touching someone strengthens the lock power immensely. As having a grip on both Hikaru and Seifer for even a moment, the Lock would have initialized nearly instantly, taking them both. The circuit was complete... But there was something amiss.

O-Overlord... what are you doing?!

Sera was having an inner debate with his avatar at the moment. Because that avatar, that unit that he and his host depended on for so long were now at an arm's length difference.

"He is not your target. Seifer. We had an agreement."

He speaks the truth. The original three targets were Satoshi, who couldn't arrive tonight, Hikaru, and Yukino... Sadly even Sera was unable to confirm that target for the host's own sake. The kind of willpower to save her might actually override the temporary lock on his heart right now.

He gulped, realizing the Lock only hit Hikaru fully, but was only halfway to Seifer's heart... Not that it matters. It cannot be stopped once it starts, but it will just take a much longer incubation period in his heart. He won't writhe in pain for a few moments and sweat it out. No. Much worse. He'll feel the decrepitude and pain every moment as it slowly seeps into his heart.

Hikaru on the other hand, well, should be taking a double static shock blast of reverse energy considering what should have left to Seifer was rerouted by Overlord. He essentially took the lock himself, and redirected it with his own power from Cray. What a pain...

You're going to pay for this, Overlord.

"As long as... he... My Vanguard, remains safe, I care not what you have in store for me, dear Seraphim." Vague, but true.

He began to tremble himself, now drained of all but a small immeasurable sliver of energy. He retreated to the fountain, gasping for air himself. Falling onto the edge, he found himself slowly slipping into unconsciousness. Nothing he, nor the host will recover from immediately. Vulnerable, for sure. But the host was carrying out it's duty. That's all that mattered in the end, after all.

Cipher Izanagi:
During these events, Seifer thought he heard two voices, though... with the darkness that he felt he couldn't be sure it was real anyway. Though... while he was still conscious, Seifer himself blacked out... In a sense, making his way away from the area. He just... ran. As fast and as far away as he could. He wanted... Needed, to get away, and as far away as he could. All he felt right now was pain and fear.

Hope:
She was barley able to make out what happened, but had a good idea. With the bit of rest that she got, she was able to use her power to scout the area once more. The next hot spot was the Cardfight Training Area with Cero. Hana stood up and decided to head there, sucking up the pain that she felt throughout her exhausted body. She took note of the voices that she heard. Due to the rush, she realized was unable to save them at the current moment, but decided to return to them later.

Spectre Diamond:
The pain was excruciating he felt the energy, it felt alien. Struggling was futile as the energy had settled into his mind.

"Yes..accept the loneliness in your heart. Freeze the world to distortion" The voice it wasn't something he recognized. He felt a chill as the energy from Seifer rebounded onto him as he felt twice the pain. Hikaru was then swallowed up in darkness as it covered him head to toe. Haruka's grip on his shoulder was no longer on him. His attire had changed into something more form fitting as the wisps of the void covered him. His arms were tinted with blood red and a feathered Karma that was wrapped around his waist. Last but not least something metallic and sharp was wrapped around  his neck as a dark glass had manage to cover his large amount of hair as it obscured his features to anyone else.

The darkness that surrounded him disappeared as he came back to reality. He took out his deck from his karma and looked at it. He could hear the screams of the blue king as it tells him to fight it. But he ignored it entirely.

"I don't need you anymore." He then tossed the deck into the air as it scattered in the dark night, following the wind's path.

"Come to me my new avatar!" He heard a roar as the dark red energy formed into his hand as it took shape of a deck. The energy subsided into a hollowed glow. He looked to see Star-Vader, Freeze Ray Dragon on the front. He silently left the area as the cards laid on the ground.

Cece Lockhart:
Noel has secluded herself after losing to Tsubasa at the amusement park. Not only did the loss sting since she cost herself the fight using Prizmy's skill and not using a better attack formation for Julia's Limit Break, but she also couldn't shake the fact that her encounter with Blaster Blade Liberator caused so much confusion as to who she really is. It was why Noel also started going to the card shops by herself to silently train to get stronger as well as try to find meaning to all those visions she has during that fight and during her dreams.

What's going on with me... I feel like I had a life before this one somewhere very distant or is sharing one right now... and those dreams, the voices, it has gotten a lot more scary...

The usual voice that asks her to join it has suddenly started saying "We will come for you now to join us." Also ever since Noel took out Salome from the deck and focused on a more aggressive combo deck based on Julia, the protective voice stopped talking as well as apparent hallucinations of seeing Salome near her has vanished. It was too weird to be a coincidence. Could these cards be real? For Salome 'appearing' and the voice who doesn't want me to 'join them' to stop the moment I took her out of my deck is too weird to be a coincidence...

The day was cloudy and very quiet with a slight cold breeze. Almost the scene of a horror film. Noel was a little tranced looking at the lake of the park she always goes to for her to notice what is going on in her surroundings. That was when she realized that something felt wrong. Noel wasn't alone
