Battle area > Grade System Event Version 2
(GS3) Field: Beach
Beryl:
The ever-important question. "Well, I wanted to ask you if you knew the location of something I'm looking for. But before that, I may as well do you a favor, first."
He slipped his sunglasses off of his face and into his fingers with his eyes closed for a moment, opening them to reveal the symbols within the irises. The twin rings glowed gently.
"I'm looking for something...or, I guess someone...known as the Seed. That's been the purpose of most of the Reversing that's been going on recently." He gestured with his hand sheepishly. "Some of them turned out a bit more violent and aggressive than anticipated, but that's just how Earth's population works, isn't it?"
He shook his head. "Cero had some sort of assumption that the Reversed are out to harm everyone and potentially even kill them. It sounded familiar to something Yugure said a while ago. I'm going to guess you all are working together. That's grand." His brow furrowed. "With that said, I gave you a simple path to me to ask you if you knew of the Seed. If you do, I must make contact with it. If not, that's okay. Either way, you're free to go. I'm not going to keep you here for anything more than that."
Cipher Izanagi:
Seifer stared back at the male, keeping eye contact, his own eyes turning crimson through Mordred's influence on his physical body. That and they were pretty much the same person. He wasn't intimidated, even if that wasn't the intention of the gesture. Quietly though he shrugged shaking his head. "If you think I know based on this..." Seifer traced the mark down the side of his own face. "You're mistaken. I don't remember anything from that night sad to say. Well, that's a lie. I remember four voices, though I can't place who they belong to." he placed a hand on the side of his head looking out at the ocean. "Every time I try to think about it, my head just starts hurting. ...I'm not sure what your intentions are, but investigate the park and train station I suppose. I vaguely remember those locations for some reason." when he turned his attention back to Satoshi, his eyes had reverted to their regular blue.
Beryl:
The train station...that was a place Satoshi had put off observing, if only because there was little need to from what he understood. Still, perhaps some details required observation. He nodded.
"I merely asked because of the people in my contact list, you were the most likely, in my opinion, to not respond in an aggressive manner." He waved his phone in his hand. "I was considering messaging Yugure, but revealing something such as this to her would likely not bode well."
He scratched his chin. "Then again, I'm not exactly bothered if you tell her and the others where you've been. If anything, finding the Seed is key to your success as well as mine." He chuckled. "Funny, I guess I'm sort of giving away the grand scheme of things by saying so, aren't I?" Shaking his head again, he returned to a more serious look, getting up from the stool.
"When I find the Seed, and it awakens or has already awakened, the invasion will be one step away from being a complete success. Keep that in mind." He turned, then paused for a moment. There was something else he was thinking of...
Oh, right.
"There's one other thing you should know, and it's about the Reversal of Cray." He pointed up to the sky with an arm, mostly to stretch but also to gesture. "Humanity's unreversal is one thing, but Cray's requires the cleansing of this same Seed. So if you were wondering why some of the Reverse lingers in people...there you go."
He placed his sunglasses back on his face and walked off. "You'd better get back soon. My manipulation of those Reverse fighters isn't going to last forever, you know."
Cipher Izanagi:
Seifer gave a soft but confident smile. "Appreciate the concern, but whether or not they can stand a chance against me right now isn't a question. They'd all fall like flies." What was that just now? Seifer didn't understand his own response but it came out that way. And that's now how he'd usually talk. In any case, he gave a casual wave before turning on his heel to walk away. "While our end goals may be the same, let's just hope you don't cross me on the battlefield Satoshi." It was both a warning, and speaking out of concern for both of their well beings.
"Are... You okay? You seem kind o-" "Crazy?" "N... No... Just, off..." "Oh. I'm fine. ...No need to worry about me at all."
Jello:
The waves were crashing, gently, in and then out. The ebb and flow reaching the orange-glowing specks of sand that encompassed the entire shoreline. Haruka sat on the shoreline in his trunks and white t-shirt, feet in water as it raced back and forth. The sea foam left traces around his feet; a bubbly white.
"You really are a piece of work Sera."
And you aren't?
"You killed me, you know? I wonder how I can't hate you right now..."
I wonder that myself.
Silence. Haruka and Sera sat on the beach staring at the horizon line. The sun was setting so peacefully, despite that beyond the horizon laid masses of invaders and creatures ready to rain hell on this world. Only a few days left before they showed up. Haruka was torn. Not that he wanted to help Sera and his forces but he quite literally was the weaker half at the moment, and unable to completely stop him. It was a problem he had developed after, well, dying. These things happen when you die, you know.
He shook his head, laying back in the sack, letting his toes sink into the wet sand and reveling in the cool breeze from the sea, amplified by the thin warmth setting sun had provided. Night time was well approaching now... Best to get some rest soon. But something was racing through his head
The Raven, Hana. Sera knew she was reversed, but why? How? These thoughts ran through a few times before deciding that he wasn't going to find the answer by running in those circles. Didn't matter now anyways, she was on their side.
Haruka was on the opposite side of the spectrum, missing Yukino over and over as his heart kept the cycle of grief moving. He couldn't just go see her, or Sera might take control and cause trouble with her. Even arms' length was too close. Shouting distance? Maybe... But he was fearful. This was far enough. Where she couldn't just find him like 'that.' He stared up, shakily breathing, dialing a message to everyone he had in his contact list.
Re: I'm So Sorry - Darren, Rose, Hananana~, Noel, Sky, Yukinoms<3, SeiferBoysss, Tsubaka, Butler-san, Kingoftheunderground, Neo-bodyguardstatus, HeyYoShiki, Uncle Toshi-ki(?)
...
Haruka couldn't find what to write in this message. His hand shook. So instead he just gulped and sent the empty message, leaving only the tag-line open. He proceeded to stare back up. Darkness had consumed the sky all too swiftly. The falling sun was all too gorgeous to remain anyways...
