(GS3) Home Field: Espoir Mansion
«

An unnecessarily large and incredibly extravagant mansion.
Field Status
The residence of the "Espoir" family.
Home Fields:
Home Fields are areas where certain player characters reside. To enter them, you must meet specific affinity requirements: 15 or more total affinity with all characters and a certain amount of affinity with residents.
Requirement:
3+ Affinity with: Yukino "Hikari" Espoir and/or Hana "Isabella" Espoir
What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.
Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.
Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.
Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

Hana doesn't like how there's so many stairs leading up to her room. She is currently making her way through their gigantic garden and that alone must have at least a hundred steps. She just wants to fry eggs.
She opens her flip phone and calls up her dad.
"DADSAN WHY ARE THERE SO MANY STAIRS WHY IS OUR HOUSE SO BIGGG CAN YOU GET THEM TO BLOW UP HALF OUR HOOUSE I JUST WANNA GET TO MY ROOOOOOOOOOM BUT ALL THESE STAIRS DONT LIKE ME LIKE IF I TRIP ONE MORE TIME GOING UP THESE STAIRS I WILL CARDFIGHT ALL OF THEM CAUSE THEYRE SO BAKAAAAA"
"..." Dad said.

Miyuki took a deep breath, and walked towards the Espoir mansion. No matter how many times she'd been here, she was still always taken aback by it. It was just so, so absurd almost, that it never failed to take her breath away.
Moving to the front, she noticed that the gates that normally sealed off the mansion were open. Since she'd been invited over by Hana, that made sense. She continued on past the gates, past the extravagant decor, hearing the gates shut behind her.
After walking for a little while (Mansions weren't small), she was at the front door. Thankfully the workers near the door recognised her by now, so they simply opened the door for her, and guided her to Hana's room.

"Mii-hime!" Hana ran up and hugged Miyuki. "We must fight and practice!"
"Nationals is coming up soon so I must get ready to face whatever it may be!" Hana jumped into her room, a large and spacious living area that was basically a house of its own. She had a coffee machine filled with freshly brewed coffee. She pointed at it along with the two mugs that she had set up along her room's small table, right in front of her couch. She also had a pile of eggs on the table just for decoration.
"We are going to work hard and practice until we pass out!"

The world was almost spinning now. Probably not a good thing, but oh well.
'One more game, Mii-hime?'. Hana still hadn't given up, wanting to practice more. She is going to pass out soon at this rate. Regardless, as her friend she'd help Hana as much as she could.
'Suree, we can do one more'.
The two Bermuda decks faced each other once again, trying to outshine one another. Miyuki could tell that Hana was really tired though, and saw that she nearly passed out several times during this game. After the game, Hana pretty much just flat out rolled onto the floor and slept.
Sighing, Miyuki moved Hana over to the bed, and made sure that she would be comfortable. She then closed her eyes, and slept as well.
Hana AP +5
When she woke up, Hana was gone. According to the workers, she had woken up earlier, and left in excitement. Realising that she had overslept, Miyuki quickly got ready, and headed out of the mansion.

Hana put her back down upon entering her room and laid on her bed. She breathed deeply, and her eyelids were feeling awfully heavy. She looked onto her ceiling, a light blue color with a few puffs and frills scattered about, imitating clouds.
"I wonder how far I can go..." she asked herself in a worried tone.
Nationals to her were simply nerve-wracking. She took this time to relax, as she closed her eyes and became lost in her own thoughts.

Satoshi arrived at the Espoir Mansion. He had been given the details by Yukino when he was hired on as a servant, but he had never actually been to it. The place stuck out like a sore thumb, since, y'know, it was a bloody
mansion
. It was surprising he never noticed it before, but at the same time, he sort of assumed when he saw that house on the hill that it was Cero's summer home or something.
Yukino had sort of just randomly disappeared from the slums, leaving Satoshi to carry all of her stuff back to her estate since he didn't have a clue where she went off to. Maybe something to do with the war on Cray? Who knows. He gently set down the bags and knocked lightly at the door to the estate.
"Hello? Anyone home?"

Making a mad dash back to her home, Yukino hastily opened up her phone to check on the airing Nationals commencing. Hana was fighting, she couldn't miss that even if the apocalypse was underway. Leaving her phone on the channel, entering the gate, the queen noticed Satoshi at the door.
"We have a door bell", she spoke, getting his attention, while hearing that her princess won the first of three games.

Haruka finds himself in at the Espoir Mansion.
Originally he was at Card Capital watching the Nationals over with Ryuske, but the TV ended up cutting off halfway through a commercial, and everybody who was viewing had to disperse. Haruka's objective from that point was to finish watching the matches, however he also found that visiting Yukino would be interesting in itself.
However he didn't expect what he found.
A mansion, so damn huge that Haruka found himself lost before he even found the front door. Haruka was careful to change into a long sleeve shirt with a collared shirt under it, so a majority of his burn marks were covered. Normally he would just wear his scarf, but he wanted to make a good impression on the Espoir family, and a casual outfit wasn't going to cut it.
"Impressing the parents, eh? You really do-"
"Shut it Overlord. I'm here to watch Vanguard. You know that, right?"
"Sure, Haru. Sure."
Overlord obviously has his head in the gutter.
Before reaching the door he notices people. Yukino and Satoshi were already standing there. "That makes this a bit easier." Haruka makes his way towards the group.
"Hey guys!! How are the final games going?" Haruka yells as he dashes up to them.

Yukino noticed Haruka, then subsequently yanked him over, and huddled her boys together so all three of them could watch the finals on her phone. While disappointed that Jellal lost, Hana was going places. Meeting Europe's King of Vanguard, it came down to the Princess versus the King, with the pride of two nations on the line. Bermuda Triangle and Royal Paladin... Hikari's eyes gazed down with sorrow and longing, wishing she had been up there to meet Isabella. Alas, it wasn't the time of the queen, but her uprising star of a little sister.
After three harsh games, the final damage was dealt to Cero. Hana won.
Hikari darted upward, screaming with glee over Hana's victory and obtaining the title of national champion. Never mind the fact that she just punched Haruka and Satoshi in the face by accident. Still, that was a beautiful little moment she had with them, watching Hana succeed. Pride was overflowing in the big sister's ego, the Espoirs were no joke!
Haruka +1 Affinity

Haruka was about to cheer for the amazing victory Hana just scored, before feeling knuckles drag his head upwards at Mach 10. His head cheek and nose are suddenly bruised and bleeding. He rubs his face.in pain, attempting to stop the bleeding
"Ow ow ow ow!" In an attempt to mask it he pumps the free hand that isn't covering his nosebleed into the air. "Go Hana!! Woo!!" Without missing a beat, he puts out his hand for a high five before realizing Yukino was already doing her little victory cheer, and Satoshi had also suffered from the collateral damage of the Queen's punch.
"Haahh.. Good enough. Can I have a tissue?" Haruka pleads.
"That must've hurt."

"Huh?" she looked at the boys, "Oh, damn! I'm sorry!" the queen went on, frantically searching for tissues to give to them both. Upon finding them, Yukino handed them both several each, then sat down, calming herself some.
She was still bouncing in her seat.

Satoshi cringed a bit. Yukino had actually punched him in the mouth and for some reason it really hurt. "Fwuow..." He held his face, noticing a bit of blood trailing down his jaw. That girl hit hard. He could only imagine what she did to the floor monkey.
Still, he was glad Hana was successful. At least they were still collectively putting in the work for Cray. After a short smile, he slumped a bit in his seat, actually feeling woozy. Whatever Yukino hit really didn't feel all that great...he saw her trying to find tissues to clean him and Haruka up, who had luckilly only gotten clocked in the nose, but then it just started to fade out...

"Satoshi?" oh no. "Satoshi!" the queen called out, getting up from the stairs and checking on him. Good God, she finally realized that she hits like a mad truck and then some. Visibly panicking, Yukino looked toward Haruka to help get him inside the house to mend whatever dislodged from her fist coming in contact with his face.

Haruka rushed over to the currently out cold Satoshi. "Satoshi! Hang in there!" He picks up Satoshi from the shoulders and under his knees, carrying him bridal-style back into the house. "Guhhhh, he's heavier than he looks," Haruka says, somewhat struggling to keep the boy up.
"Uh, where should I lay him down at?" Haruka in a slight state of panic, completely forgets that his nose is drizzling blood down his clothing.
"Goddammit." Haruka shakes his head in annoyance. "Okay, okay, get him a glass of water and a wet rag. I'll lay him on the couch I guess?" Haruka nudges his head towards a rather large sofa across the hallway in a room large enough to fit two of his own bedrooms in.
