Kurai wondered why she was saying this to him. Kurai plays Vanguard to have fun, whilst improving along side others. This was evident with people he has fought before. He still didn't know what happened during The Incident at Shop Handsome, only its resolve. A resolve that involved Hazama and Neo leaving.

Her words were harsh, but Kurai couldn't understand the meaning behind them. Perhaps it was some kind of hidden meaning in the words. Kurai had nothing to go on. No leads to follow. But he did have the source.

He asked calmly "What do your words have to do with me exactly? Ask some of the people I've fought, like this guy I know, Haruki , we play for fun and improve whenever we fight each other."

Hope:
"Man." She facepalm and flicked her right index finger towards his head, "you're really oblivious."

"Gaps in memories and things happening mean you have some sort of split personality disorder. What's even more unbelievable is how no one has told you about or how you haven't possibly come to the conclusion that you were more than just asleep at that time." She looks at him in the eyes, her eyes giving off a bright orange and piercing gaze.

"I'm talking to the other you. I don't know what side it's on. If it wants to help others then it better start with helping itself, because if it isn't then it's just going end hurting a lot more people. Now that wouldn't be fun for anyone, even people close to you."

Kurai was still oblivious to what she was saying. [An alternate personality, she must be....] He heard his voice in his head.

The Alternate had enough, and took control of Kurai. Kurai's eyes turned crimson and began to emanate the rage of the alternate personality. It was easy to tell... It was pissed off

"YOU really think your something don't you! GOT a lot of nerve calling me out. You want something don't you.... why not answer ME?"

The Alternate was being highly aggressive towards her,he wanted to know what this mere girl wanted, after all she went out of her way to criticise what his methods of improving the strength of other's by using his own. Although, Alternate had some interest in this girl. Her power may have been at a national level, but that look in her eyes made him feel something he had never felt before....

Fear.

Hope:
It seems like she got what she wanted by calling him out, though kind of accident, she actually really just wanted to imitate the alternate personality with the eyes thing because she thought it was kind of hilarious herself. Oh man.

"Well first of all, you must have popped out from somewhere. So what was it? Big bad event? Scary movie? Possessed trading card? Boogie man?" She stepped back, and shrugged little, giggling to herself, "what if he bites, whoa."

The Alternate was not amused by her. He was tempting violence, but knew hitting a female was morally wrong no matter what the situation is. He did not seem to care about answering her question. He wanted answers... He couldn't shake off that fear he had felt moments ago. [What the bloody hell is she and how did she know of my existence,tch] He decided to take matters into his own hands.

"So... WHO are you... the TRUE you?"  He aggressively put forward. "Even the Golden Boy doesn't KNOW information like that... so it's better YOU answer now than later. He had completely ignored her question and countered with his own.
