He didn't have to tell him twice. The very instant Haruka gave him the go-ahead on resting in his bed, as if under hypnosis or something, he fell asleep. A steel sleep like always.
+1 affinity with Harooka for saving him from the brink of death

Alexander was sitting in his room, right on the bed, his eyes staring with a fire like intensity at the sprawled out cards before him. Extras of Nova Grappler cards thrown around the area, the lad switching around sets of them into his deck mostly to test them out. Several hours, and many grueling hypotheses plus tests later, he had finally come to a conclusion on his line-up, his deck almost identical though a few key switches had been made. "I hope this covers my weak points.. A bit too susceptible to rear guard sniping early game." The thought drifting around, tidying up the room and setting his deck on the table.
Heaving himself off the mediocre bed the young man headed to the washroom, hoping to take a shower, though fate would take him elsewhere. Scanning the place, his azure hues not sighting towels of all things! He gave an annoying sigh, looking around the whole hotel room but still failing to sight the drying cloth. In a rather lazy manner he walked out of the room, grabbing his vanguard deck as well. "I guess I'll just find someone to give me an extra."
Slowly walking down the hallway, he went right to his neighbours hotel room. The third floor two apartments from the stairs to the left, a well placed two knocks on the wooden door, loud enough to hear and spaced out enough to show no hurry. If the person answered they would likely see a random teenager, dressed in grey sweatpants and a white shirt, standing outside rather absentmindedly.

Knock. Knock. Knock.
"Hmm...?" Haruka hears the clanging of a fist on his door. At first he dismisses it, lost in thought but quickly realizes that there is actually another person on the other side of the door. He walks over, stumbling in his own groggoy feet from the morning wake up.
Haruka takes one quick glance in the mirror. His hair went from blonde to near white, and he looks more like a ghost than ever. Guess those side effects took a nasty turn.
Opening the door, Haruka speaks up. "Hmm, yeah, hello?" Haruka rubs his eyes.

Kurai heard a knock at his door. He hadn't left his room since his crushing defeat at the hands of Shin'en. The power of the Oracle Think Tank overwhelmed him to the point of where he could not win. Despite intense training in Kyoto, it wasn't enough. He sat up from his bed in his slightly depressed state, wondering whom was knocking at his door. Kurai had not ordered room service for food this time.
Rolling his eye's he got up onto his feet and walked over to the wardrobe, grabbing his black leather jacket and throwing on his red scarf. He was now in his usual attire. Kurai walked over to the door and opened it widely. He saw a random teenager, dressed in grey sweatpants and a white shirt, standing outside rather absent mindedly. Kurai wondered who this person was. He had never saw him before, but the aura he had was powerful. Something he had never felt before. Powerful but also casual.
From the moment he opened the door, he had discovered an opponent even stronger than Shin'en. Kurai addressed the fellow teenager.
" Who exactly are you? I don't remember calling for room service at this moment, especially not for a cardfighter... explain now!"
He was straight forward with the male teenager, wanting him to get straight to the point.

Turns out it was room service. They must have gotten his order from the night before to get food for Shiki when he fell asleep. Why did it take so long to get here? Haruka grabbed the platter of food and placed it out on the small table in his hotel room, and proceeded to lay back down on the floor.
"Its too early for this..." Haruka uses his hands as a pillow and sighs. He then proceeds to sit back up and stare out at the balcony. Its getting creepy how much he likes watching the outside world but doesn't actually go out.

Alexander blinked blankly at first, having planned out the interaction in his head only for it to take a one eighty to crazy street.
"Ah.." Mouth agape for a few seconds, right index finger raised as he tilted himself ever so slighty to throw out a few words, but nothing came out. He paused, placing the same hand on his chin as he rubbed it slowly. Eyes having zoomed top left, a look of deep thought holding for a few seconds.
"Well... Uh. I feel we got off to a bad start.... Probably. I'm Alexander, nice to meet you." His left hand doing a tiny wave while giving an uncertain stare towards the teen. A small pause before speaking once more. "I was just asking if anyone got any extra towels from room service recently, kind of needed one myself and all." His words holding a rather honest but embarassed tone, going around asking for towels from someone as opposed to staff was likely not the smartest thing he's done.
Of course, then something clicked. They must have spotted his deck, though they were rather hostile about that tidbit. Changing topics hastily in a rather absent minded manner. "Oh, are you a cardfighter as well? Here to see the circuit? I've been enjoying the fights so far actually. Seeing them live is different than on tee-vee that's for sure." The young mans words simply flowing like a never ending cascade, he personally had hoped that in part they would de-escalate the situation.
Interestingly enough, nearby a pale skinned white haired man had received room service! Maybe the casual ecounter with Kurai would be heard in part, of course Kurai had a rather serious tone, possibly causing some worried or not so worried people to check out the situation?

The teenager introduced himself as Alexander. He was asking for a towel, since he did not have one, but changed topic to the Circuit and card-fighting.
"So.. you know about the circuit. Well, I lost in the first round. Decimated in fact. All by an individual known as Shin'en"
Kurai decided to speak in a calm tone, now relaxed compared to over the last few days of anger over losing to him.
Kurai reached over to the radiator next to his room door and grabbed the purple towel from it. I held it out to Alexander.
"Return it when your done with it. Otherwise it will be trouble"
He delivered this serious remark with a joking face.
"Just make sure you return it okay? Preferred dry if possible."

The brunette nodded, eyeing Kurai for a few moments before taking the towel, giving a small smile in response to the joke.
"Say, since you're a circuit level cardfighter and all.... Mind if we have a few fights after I take that shower?" Grasping his deck case and putting it at eye level and shaking it rapidly before putting it away.
"Oh, I should probably go. Hope I didn't interrupt anything... Oh, right! What's your name? Don't think yelling purple towel guy woud be appropriate and all." The last few words spoken in a sight sarcastic tone, a humorous intent behind them.

"Maybe... The name... is Kurai, by the way."
With this, he closed his room door and lied down on the bed... soon he would fight a formidable foe.

"Oh alright co-" His words cut off as the door swung to a close, the young man simply blinking before shrugging it off.
It seemed vanguard attracted all kinds of people, though maybe that's what it's charm was? He pondered the thought as he went off back to his room, hoping to get through the rest of his day with moderate peace. Having not decided when to exactly go off to the possiby schedued cardfight, tough at least the fighter seemed interesting.

Tsubasa wakes up in his hotel room early on in the day, he decides to make his own breakfast rather than depend on the breakfast buffet like usual. His food of choice this time was just sandwhiches that he made himself, with some apple slices on the side.
"...Some time for myself does help...though I wonder..today my opponent should be decided, might as well check the TV for the broadcast." he says, as he takes out the remote remote control and turns on the TV.
The TV begins the coverage of the World Circuit.
"Welcome back to our third day of the Circuit ladies and gentlemen! Today we settle the last quarter-final match!!"
, said the announcer.
"..I haven't drank any water until now..I'll just turn up the noise so I can keep track of what's happening as i'm in the kitchen area." he said, as he began to turn up the volume and walking towards the kitchen.
"To my right, Satoshi! and to my left, Noah!"
Tsubasa turns the tap on, and begins to pour the water into his cup
-The lights turn off at the stadium-
"....Ugggh what happened to the lights...?"
"This is boring..."
said Neu.
"..That voice..." he said, still holding the cup within his hands as the water poured into the cup.
Tsubasa could identify the voice he heard from the TV as Neu's voice, but he did not want to jump to conclusions with an almost full cup of water in his hand, but it was at that moment that he heard fingers snapping from the TV screen.
The glass cup falls into the sink almost breaking as Tsubasa lets go of it immediately after hearing the fingers snap
"......Tch....Aaaaaahhh!!....-pant--pant-...what on earth is thiiss??!" exclaimed Tsubasa, as he fell to the ground, clutching his head.
At that moment an entire flood of memories gushes into Tsubasa's head, the surprise from the impact causing his head to feel a massive sense of pain as he sees his time with the Royal Paladins before the mind-wipe.
".....-pant--pant-..."
"Champions of the Gold Paladin, Great Nature, Narukami, Aqua Force, and Neo Nectar clans, I will need your help in restoring those whom we have lost."
At that moment Tsubasa, walks out of the kitchen, changes, puts on his black leather jacket, picks up his deck box, and heads out of the hotel room.
With a look of determination blazing within his eyes, "Royal Paladin...Blaster Blade...wait for me!" he says, as he clutches his deck.

Hazama enters the door and takes the elevator to the top floor. He enters his room. He lies down, not even turning on any light. He takes off his jacket and uncovers his bed.
"You know, Kurai, or who ever he is, should stay out of people's business. Or die for all I care," he says aloud to himself.
He takes off his shirt and begins to lay in bed.
"No, I haven't quit Vanguard. I know there is something out there that can suit me, there has to be. Hopefully, if there is anything, it will come soon."
He turns on his TV to find the news about Neu everywhere.
"I've already heard about this today. It's all boring news by now."
As Hazama flips through channels, he begins to daze off into an everlasting sleep, or so he wished.

Neo then decided to leave the arena and head for the hotel. While he was walking, he wondered what could have been:
"Losing to Yukino in the circuit even though it was cut short, then losing to Cero with the world at stake.. Sure Vanguard is supposed to be fun, but it hurts.." Neo said walking back to his hotel.
Neo finally reached the Hotel and took the stairs back to his room. He put his bag down along with his deck and stared at the ceiling. He didnt know what to do now but then it hit him. Neo opened the evelope that he received back at the amusement park by that stranger. Neo opened the evelope and started reading what turns out to be a letter.
"Dear Son" Neo started to read
"You will eventually get this in due time. When you are reading this, we want you to know we love you. You are going to have to be on your own for awhile. You must be in a state of shock I know, but we need to leave. We cannot tell you why but it is for good reason. We know that you will grow up to be a man with a kind and gentle heart. Dont let anything stray you from your path. Stay focused at the task at hand and you will do just fine. I know this is a very hard decision for us to make, but we ask you to please not to be upset with us. We are making this decision for a reason. A reason we cannot say but for you to find out on your own. We love you. Take care
"Mom and Dad"
"..." Neo finished reading the letter and then burst into tears
"But why.. They didnt disappear. They just.. left?" Neo asked himself
"All this time I thought they had disappeared, all this time I thought something happened to them! But they just walked out on me!" Neo screamed
Filled with so much emotion, Neo started punching his pillow and kept crying as he was letting all the emotions he held in for so long go.
"And here I thought.. They could have been found.." Neo said
Neo then stared at his deck not knowing what to do. What was there to do? What was left for Neo? All of this, was so he can find his parents but to find out they just left him hurt Neo alot.
"Maybe this is how my life is supposed to be.. For me to be alone" Neo said
Neo then layed down with his deck by his side staring at the ceiling. Turns out his trip to New York wasnt what he thought it would be.

A flash of light entered the room and a glowing figure appeared before him. Neu looked upon him, a like a lost child, just like she was. It wasn't a time for her thoughts nor her past, but just plainly, she understood how she felt. Even as a being beyond the shackles of humanity, she remembered how it was to be human. She remembered how it was to be betrayed by one's own parents. She remembered how it was to fail. She remembered how Neo was one of the first that she met on her journey to become who she was now. He was lost, he was always so lost. He's let her down, and brought her up, showing her the ups and downs of the game of life itself. Vanguard games with him were always fun, he kept things interesting and kept on improving. No matter what, she wanted to help him. Neu had no witty words or complaints this time, she didn't sigh heavily or shrug to herself.
Instead she lifted her arms and put it around him, putting him in an embrace.
"There, there... no one is meant to be alone... I want you to know that you have me, that you have everyone whom you've met and had fun games with... There, there... don't cry..." She pulled him close to her and pat him lightly in the back, looking at the ceiling where was looking, or perhaps she was looking at the heavens themselves, wishing that she now had the power to strike them down in order to end the world's suffering. "There, there..."

"Never thought you would come here" Neo said
"But thanks" Neo said wiping his tears away
Neo didnt know what to think of Neu being in the room but he was glad that she did come. He needed to hear what she said. Neu was right, Neo has met so many great people and cardfighters. He was never truely alone. Not only did he have his friends but also his cards was his family, the Narukami clan.
"Thank you for the words Neu" Neo said to her
