(GS3) Field: Hospital

Seifer had stayed behind in the room, both of his hands in his pockets with his eyes shut halfway. It had just hit him that tomorrow was the last day they were going to be here though, he continued to think on the problems that had happened, and had been brought up. With a sigh he pulled up a second chair and sat down in it, pulling his deck out and staring at the cards.

[Hope]

A nurse entered Neo's room.

"Uh, sir. Your bill totals to $5690.54."

[NeoBuster]

"ITS WHAT?!?!?!??!?!!?" Neo screamed jumping out of the bed as he was cleared to leave.

"Um.. put this on my tab" Neo said to the nurse.

Neo then put on his white jacket over his black shirt while wearing jeans and orange sneakers. With Tsubasa and Seifer still in the room Neo finished gathering his stuff.

Neo startled him when he woke up after seeing his bill, but it gave Tsubasa the chance to go see Neu alone before he has to leave by night time.

"...I should probably see if she's awake, might as well, it's gonna be our last time to see each other before a bunch of months at least." he thought.

Tsubasa leaves the room while trying not to draw attention to himself towards the asleep Seifer and the panicking Neo. He makes his way to Neu's room, knocks on the door, enters as silently as possible so as not to startle her.

"..Hey Neu.." he said, as he stood next to her bed.

Ighanna struts her leather high heel shoes down the hospital's corridor, covered with sunglasses and mouth cover, typical in a hospital. Apparently her father donated a huge amount of money for the hospital and so she wanted Metatron to see the advancement in medical appliances nowadays. However the current machine is being occupied by a certain patient right now and so it might be uncomfortable for them if Ighanna barges in but on a second thought, maybe having a celebrity visit them will help cheering the patient up and so she discussed with the nurse in charge who led her to a room.

"Hello, is anyone in there?" Ighanna said as she knocked her wrists on the door and instantaneously retracted to prevent hospital germs infecting her. Right after that the nurse presses 2 drops of sanitary alcohol onto Ighanna's hand as she rubbed them thoroughly. What caught her attention was the front of the door, right under the engraved room number was the patient's name "Ms. Edelweiss" which shocked her a bit. She waited, quite nervously for a reply from the room. 'Could it be Neu's mother, cousin or something? Why would Neu be here anyways, this machine's usually used continuously for years and Neu seemed healthy when they met long ago' she thought.

[Helios]

Hazama walks into the Hospital with all of his belongings, as it was his last visit before his flight back home. He goes up to the front desk. "I would like to see Neu Edelweiss", he said to the attendant.

"Im am sorry, but we don't allow bags in hospital rooms," the attendant replied.

"Fine I will leave them here. Though if I do, may I then go see Ms. Edelweiss."

"Sure."

Hazama found a chair and put a lock on his bags so they wouldn't be opened or stolen. He then follows the attendant to the elevator to proceed to Neu's room. The ride only lasted about three quarters of a minute when they reached the respective floor.

"Her room is down the hallway, take your first left, and it is the third door on the right," the attendant spoke.

"Thank you very much," Hazama replied.

He opened the door to find Neu on her bed. He couldn't tell her current state from afar, or if she was sleeping or just resting. He pulled up a chair and sat down.

"Hey Neu, it's Hazama. I just wanted to say bye for now, as my flight for home leaves in about three hours. I hope you received my letter about wanting to help you with your quest. It would truly be an honor, Ms. Edelweiss. Wether you can hear me or not in your current state, I hope you will let me aid you." Hazama said all of that with a soft voice as he didn't want to startle her, or wake her up if she was sleeping.

He pulled out a letter from his pocket.

"This letter contains what I just said if you did not hear me through it all. Also, it contains a check for $7,500 to help you with your hospital expenses, a gift from the Einsburn family. It also contains one last thing, an envelope with pre-paid postage directed to the Einsburn Castle, if you want to write back, which I hope you do. Well I guess this is as much time as I have on my hands for now. I hope to see you later, Ms. Edelweiss. And I hope you recover soon."

Hazama placed his letter on the stand next to her bed. He got up from his chair to continue to the door, which will eventually lead him home.

[Hope]

Her eyes slowly. She had been sound asleep for a food chunk of the day apparently, with numerous visitors passinf by. A nurse was organizing her belongings. The nurse informed her of two letters, one from her parents and another from Hazama, two visitors that she had missed due to being asleep. Of course, there was also a flier going around the hospital which the Nurse thought she really should see. There was a concert today, to celebrate the return of the clans. A good deal of the hospital staff was already planning to go and they didn't getting Neu out of her hospital gown and into actual clothes so she could go for it too. There was great joy in this. She wouldn't miss it for the world, a chance to celebrate Vanguard with other fighters. The nurse decided to leave the room to give her some time to organize what she wanted to do for tonight's event.

Eventually, Tsubasa entered the room and greeted her. Then she realized that there was no one better to celebrate it with than with him.
"Tsubasa? Right-..." Shd thought about it for a moment, what would this be considered? Well surely its more of charity work for the sick since he's going to be pushing her around on a wheel chair, but of course it could be another thing. It didn't matter, she azked anyways. "Um... If its not too much trouble would you like to go to the concert tonight?... With me...?" She closed her eyes. That took way more energy than expected...

Neu awoke at Tsubasa's call when he entered her room and called for her. He was overjoyed to see her awake after some time but he was also saddened by how short of a time he will have to spend with her and everyone he's met thus far.

"..Oh..." he said, in his mind he was trying to understand the meaning behind Neu's request. To him it was obvious that any nurse or payed doctor who is going to the concert would have no trouble taking her along, but the fact that she asked him to do this put a smile on his face.

"..I'd love to go to the concert with you, it will be a great way to celebrate and spend the day." he said, placing his hand on hers.

[Hope]

Neu opened her eyes again after hearing his response. She was glad to hear that he was going. Strange, though, she felt a nurse grab her hand, but she thought the nurse had left awhie ago.  Running it through her head again, and then looking to her side, she realized that it was Tsubasa.

"Oh god you're doing the thing again. Stop that idiot I can't move!... Actually- WAIT NO!! Uh..." She continued looking at the ceiling, not like she could do much else, but she was certainly wide awake now. ".. Yeah get the nurse I kinda have to get dressed..."

Upon seeing Neu's reaction Tsubasa immediately felt the desire to chuckle at her response, but above all he was glad that she will get to spend time with everyone before they all go their seperate ways, more importantly with him.

"..Hahaha....I can't help it Neu, I won't be able to hold that hand for a while." he said, with a joking tone. "I'll get the nurse."

Tsubasa steps out of the room and asks the nurse to go and help Neu prepare for an amazing night.

After getting dressed, Neo walked out of his room and walked to times square.

"I gotta prepare for my battle with Tsubasa" Neo said as he started walking there

[Hope]

A bunch of nurses appeared inside the room and took Neu away to get her prepared for the concert. It took awhile since they had to actually go buy Neu a dress. Since used the rift to travel to New York, she actually didn't bring any of her clothes and changed back at her apartment in Japan when she needed to. The nurses didn't ask any questions. Neu's whole situation was weird enough as it was.

"Sorry for the long wait." A nurse pushed Neu in on a wheelchair. She was wearing a white dress, glowing along with her skin which  complimented her light-purple hair. The dress was trimmed by similar color, creating compliments from head to toe. The nurses had a great fashion sense. Neu's request was for a simple outing, but seeing who it was, they prepared Neu for something beyond that. More so for a date than anything else. They giggled to themselves and wished Neu good luck before taking their leave to go get changed themselves for the concert.

"Sorry, but uh... you're going to kind of have to push me around on this thing. Shall we go?"

After dinner, Neu was escorted back into her hospital room. By request after a few months in New York, she was transferred to the Hospital which was nearby Hoshiko. It was close to her apartment so there was no more need to buy new clothes, plus this was where she felt at home. A nurse came in and dropped off a deck box for her. There was an event at Card Capital today hosted by Isabella Hope and she really wanted to attend, but sadly, in her condition she still wouldn't be able to hold off in such a large crowd all on her own.

Improvements upon the last year have enabled her to fight again, but there was still a problem. She still had no deck. Everyday she would check on her one card, Neon Messiah. She didn't know what to expect, but she felt potential from the card itself, even though it may just be a foolish to believe in it. It was still her avatar after all. On the day that she had recovered the ability to walk, four new cards appeared on top of Neon Messiah.

"Asleep Messiah..?" She thought to herself.

She opened up the deck box that the nurse had brought in for her. In the meantime, this would serve as her deck. Smiling as she shifted through the cards, remembering the nostalgia and having the desire to play once more, she greeted them.

"Haha, hey guys."

Neu laid back on her bed and held them close to her, until then, they were her companions.

Tsubasa had entered the hospital that Neu was transferred to near the area of Hoshiko, upon entry he asked for her room number, he was both excited and nervous to see her again after so long. After being told the directions he starts his walk towards her room, excited to see her standing on her feet once again, as told to him by the nurses.

"..I'm so happy for you Neu...and I can't wait to see you again..." he said, as he took a right turn towards her room.

He stopped walking next to her room's door and took out his deck, " Thanks to her I can stand here today with these paladins..." he thought.

He entered her room as calmly as possible, "..Hey Neu, it's good to see you again." he said.

A nurse helped her stand up as they were told that she had a visitor. It's been awhile since her last so she was quite excited. She walked slowly towards the door which swung open even before that she had made her way halfway through. She reacted in surprise to who it was as she certainly didn't expect Tsubasa to come visit her, but here he was. It was a year ago that they fought, where she remembered unleashing her full power, leaving her in the state in which she was in now. It was with him that she felt like a human again, so she was overjoyed to see him. It was also during that time that he began acting strangely towards her, holding her hand and making her blush. Over the year, she'd largely forgot those feelings as the time has made them slowly fade to the back of her mind. It really has been awhile.

"Hey. Nice to see you again too." She waved back at him, struggling to walk forward and keep her balance.
