(GS3) Camping Trip - Camping Ground
Jello:
Haruka got stuck playing the vanilla game again. He only was able to bring out a couple of rear-guards to begin with, and was stuck on his break ride unit once that grade 3 surge came around. He nearly had the means to push if he had just managed to get onto his cross break or just, anything but sitting on a skill-less 11,000 Power base. He ended up taking a beating from the complete field of TOMO-ZO's Seal Dragons.
It just wasn't happening, even if he wanted to show off what his new break ride could do, he just didn't get what he needed. His belief in Overlord was somewhat misplaced. He was too busy taking a breather in the Dragon Empire.
"Shoulda gone with Illuminal... He always shows when I need him." Tahr would have whimpered at that comment.
"Thanks for the fight TOMO-ZO, I had fun. Later, though." Haruka checked back at his phone, finally receiving a response! He was happy Yukino had actually gotten back to him.
But something felt off. The lovey-dovey bit she usually shows wasn't there. It felt too formal... something Hikaru or a champion of Cray would have received. Normally she's at least a little affectionate. 'Are you alright?' versus 'How are you?' goes a long way in Haruka's head. Maybe it was just his imagination, but-
"sounds like everything is going well. im doing pretty good i gess. started playing nova grapplers recently. luv dem restanding rear guards. hey erm, maybe im just crazy but, are u okay? seem a bit off. -haru"
Hope:
"The sixth damage..." Ah, the red-haired woman declared with a grin.
It took the club a good amount of tries, but they finally got her. "Alright well, KOGA, let's get them up there." She called out to her little green-haired sister. It was almost like a magic spell, but in a flash, the entire group was suddenly on the mountain's peak, overlooking the entire camping ground. Right on time for the sunset.
"Congrats Sliffer!" Isabella pat him on the back. The big red dragon nickname always pays off.
"Well, just talk to us when you're done having a look around and we'll take you back to the campsite." TOMO-ZO said as she sat down along the edge, looking off into the sun.
Isabella took out her phone and took multiple pictures from the peak of the mountain as well as those present at the current moment. "Getto!~" The excited club president was smirking. The Cardfight Club did it, they climbed the impossible mountain with the use of magic.
They never said we can't.
That doesn't justify anything unless you're Hana.
"Good job everyone!" She let clapped and cheered, the day went by very well. "Since we're going home tomorrow, so let's enjoy this view! This moment. We earned it."
Sorta.
A picnic was already set on top of this mountain. Dinner, courtesy of the shop PSY hosts. KOGA already invited herself to begin eating some. TOMO-ZO was ashamed of her poor manners.
Cipher Izanagi:
Somehow, Seifer had gotten dragged into the thick of what was happening, though he didn't complain. He needed something to take his mind off of some things. In any case during the entire fight, Seifer slipped between indifference and actual joy. He'd never seen the Seal Dragons of Kagero, and to be honest, he actually liked how they looked. To him, they weren't the same as Overlord though. The restanding Vanguard plowing his way through the forces of Seal Dragons, Seifer took advantage, even with his rear guards being retired and his field shoddy. Even without the break ride though, Seifer's luck trumped the other's, getting everything he needed and ending it with a well timed critical trigger. He'd won. He was glad as he put his deck away in the blood red case he held with him. "It was fun. I should pick up Seal Dragons sometime to see how they respond for me." he commented after the fight, though almost as soon as he'd said that they were on top of the mountain, and he had a familiar voice congratulate him with his moniker given by non other than Hana. Feeling the pat on his back he just grinned a little before looking at everyone else. They were on top of a mountain now weren't they. And a picnic? Though... He noticed someone already chowing down into the food, though he found it funny rather than rude.
Golden Sage NovaRaizer:
Darren watched the two dragon battles, one after the other. Seeing her beat Haruka, who had defeated Noel before, told him that this girl was even stronger than she seemed. The fact that he did so well against her until a bit of a handicap amazed him. When Seifer was battling though, he seemed in control, like he could control the flow of the fight. It was inspiring to Darren and made him want to learn how to do that with his deck.
Before he could say anything they were all gone, all transported away including Darren himself. He looked around and saw they were on the top of the mountain. He thought they would take a car or a lift or something, but instant teleportation... if he hadn't been a part of it he never would have believed it. "This is so cool!" he called out, then turned to see the picnic. All of the fighting did make him hungry so he went straight to the meal, digging in without restraint.
Jello:
It would be a lie if Haruka said he wasn't at all jealous of how well Seifer handled his own version of Overlord against TOMO-ZO, taking her down with decent speed. Not that it wasn't a close fight at first, but the battle immediately went Seifer's way the second he got DOTE to hit and its skill to activate. Getting those extra drive checks didn't mean anything power-wise, but more hand meant more guards and more pressure should his own rear guards be retired. Haruka was very happy with how the battles ended.
Upon arriving at the mountaintop, Haruka stared at the munchkin who was jacking all of the picnic food.
"Ugh.. seriously?" He scratched his head, only a bit bummed out. Well, can't win every one. Haruka sat down on the blanket as well, taking the full view of the sky in from up there. Being so close to the sky might as well have been a dream come true. All he had to do now was try and fly, except that's a bad idea because he is well aware that he cannot fly.
So instead, he just stares, watching the clouds. He had things he wanted to do and places to be, but he can spare the time for the evening to enjoy the sunset. Eat some food. Maybe chat with people. Sounds like a plan at least.
First the sandwiches...
