Home Fields:
Home Fields are areas where certain player characters reside. To enter them, you must meet specific affinity requirements: 15 or more total affinity with all characters and a certain amount of affinity with residents.

Requirement:
5+ Affinity with Satoshi Kurosaki OR invitation.

What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

Beryl:
On the island of Ni'ihau, it wasn't very often that one had visitors. Primarily an American military base, the island was privately owned by a prestigious family. One particular plot of land was passed down through the family's successful descendants, so it was rare that one not from the family would own a space. But thanks to Ronald Drump, Satoshi Kurosaki was one of the first in a long time to make that change.

Several months had passed since he had been back. The estate was managed by a local he had hired, Haku. Most everything done in maintaining a garden, receiving flown-in shipments from other islands, general maintenance, etc., was done by this one guy. The trade-off was that Haku lived on the estate permanently per Satoshi's request, in one of the nicest rooms possible. The overseer didn't expect that much, for he was an island native accustomed to tighter spaces and reduced living arrangements, but did not hesitate to take an opportunity provided to him.

Haku and Satoshi had an unquestionable trust. The former spoke little, but when he did, it was simple enough such that the latter understood him. Likewise, the former was patient with the latter's concerns and actions. It was such that, upon his return, Satoshi debated the actual benefits of reversing Haku, and settled on not actually doing so as a result. Someone who spoke little and simply operated per the owner of the estate's request did not especially care what his owner's mental state was as long as it meant he had a roof over his head and work to do. Why influence him any other way?

Seated in an expansive guest room in the hosting chair, seeming akin to that of a throne, the vassal of Nebula Lord rested his face on his knuckles. His return was purposeful. It was time that he brought the despaired to him so he could free them, one by one. Unfortunately, his phone was rather limited in contacts, but he had a feeling that these particular contacts would try and incite action from others, since they were a part of the resistance. The first was a former General, the second a close friend who sought to eradicate the invaders. Seifer Leo and Yugure Espoir. These two would make the game all the more interesting.

He contemplated contacting Sera, knowing he was in control of Haruka's body, but this was a task he wanted little interference with. It was his duty as a General to succeed, so there was no need to have an observer when he knew there was no escape except by his own hand. Acquiring the assistance of the rest of the vassals, on the other hand...well, that would come after he sent his initiations.

First, he opened up a text box with Seifer:

What you said to me on the beach before intrigues me. Through connections, I have a private jet that travels to a remote location in Hawaii. It would be interesting to see what sort of challenge you could pose to your equal in the invasion. You hopefully will not be alone; I am contacting Yugure Espoir as well as a travel companion. Whether you all bring your friends is up to you. I will have several of my own if I can help it.

The ball is in your court.

Satoshi

Sending that off, he scrolled quickly to Yugure and entered a similar mesage:

Chosen Sword, the vassal of Nebula Lord offers you and your friends a last stand before your despair is harvested on behalf of the black rings. I do wish it could be on more reasonable terms that I invite you to my home in Ni'ihau, Hawaii, but nevertheless, this is your chance to try and turn the tide of the war. Otherwise, you may be surprised what happens next. A private jet will arrive in Japan shortly to pick you and Seifer Leo up. Any companions the two of you decide to bring are up to you. I will have associates of my own here to match you.

Show me your resolve.

Satoshi

With both sent off, he rubbed his temples. Next was the more draining part. He touched two fingers to his marked hand, and an intense burn resonated through his body. Wanting to cry out, he clenched and instead attempted to focus his mind to two individuals he would like to show up for this party. Whether they did so or not was voluntary, but there was incentive for them to do so.

First, the easy one. He reached out to the bearer of Freeze Ray. He spoke aloud as though he were talking to someone in the room, but the way he spoke would instead resonate in the head of his fellow vassal. "I am bringing the Chosen Sword and our traitor to my residence. If you'd like to join in on the harvest, I will make arrangements immediately.

The more complicated one was one who was likely to begrudgingly accept. With more intense focus, Satoshi reached out to Noel Kusanagi:

"I am bringing your brother to my residence to harvest. If you are as deadset on reversing him as I felt you to be when I performed my routine check, it would be wise for you to attend the gathering I am having. You may decline, but this may be your last chance to try." He paused briefly, then added: "Also...it would be rather nice to see you again, if I'm being quite honest." As one of similar circumstance in her triad, one who wanted to be as significant as the two lovers, Noel brought out what little emotion remained in him.

With that, he leaned back, panting. That required a lot of effort to pull off. Hopefully, these people would respond to his messages and make their reservations. The private pickups were going to be quite necessary.

Haku leaned against a pillar nearby. "Business?" He tended to speak in single word phrases, though Satoshi had learned, while staying in seclusion here, that his overseer was in fact quite the poet, capable of quoting Shakespeare on a dime.

His boss nodded. "Hopefully our guests enjoy their stay." He wiped some sweat from his brow.

Haku nodded. "I will prepare."

Cherry:
Eventually arriving at the airport, the party gathered themselves and belongings, taking the scheduled jet to Hawaii. Specifically, to the private isle of Ni'ihau. They landed on a port that was built on the edge of the island, Almost immediately, they were all directed and escorted to Satoshi's luxurious resort residence. Yugure took no mind of the sights, focusing on the housing of her best friend. He wasn't kidding about how well he had made it outside of Japan, as it was honestly a gorgeous estate with beautiful scenery all around.

Beryl:
Haku was assigned to be the doorman and guide for the estate. Not exactly the best task to assign someone who spoke so little, but then again, he had been trying to get his boss to hire his brother, Kalei, who was much more amicable and free-speaking, especially to foreigners, to give tours of the estate and maybe make some money on the side as a result. Perhaps someday this would be a reality, but for now...

On schedule, the guests had arrived. Good. The boss would be absolutely thrilled to know this. Although, it would likely surprise them all that this large Hawaiian was not at all under the black rings' influence. Additionally, he hoped in the back of his mind that they were also very impressed with his handiwork. It was quite a lot of work to maintain this residence primarily by yourself, even if some rooms don't necessarily need to be addressed more than once a month.

Most importantly, Satoshi prided his estate's gardens, which he worked alongside Haku in maintaining. While he had been away, the silent overseer had spent a considerable amount of time making sure the crops grew well. Sure, it was equally plausible that his boss could fly in or sail in some food, but it was of his interest as an American agricultural figurehead to maintain his own fields. At least, that would be the businessman logic. Truthfully, it was because farming kept Satoshi's mind off of the struggles of Cray, and because it remained a passion he sought to practice himself. Making his own good food would make his parents proud, even if they perhaps wanted him to be something more.

Haku gazed out at the sheer number of guests. There were quite a lot, and unfortunately, the associates his boss had been expecting never showed. A shame, but nevertheless, hopefully this group would make up for it.

Spectre Diamond:
He appeared at the air port a bit later then everyone else due to taking a different plane because he was busy to get the schedule flight. During the past few hours Hikaru's appearance was different, in a good way. His hair is shorter and slender while still spiky at the back and on the left side of his face. He doesn't have his signature gold contacts and instead wearing his black rim glasses and showing his cerulean eyes. His new attire consists of a short white sleeve polo with a long grayish waist coat. Along side with the upper garments is a royal blue coat/jacket Which he rolls up the sleeves up to below the elbows. Hikaru wears a pair of magenta wrist bands. He wears black trousers and now sports a pair of black Knee-high boots.

He called for a taxi and began to make haste to the Kurosaki estate. Thank fully the taxi driver knew where the place is and shouldn't take to long. Hikaru took out his deck and scanned through it, preparing himself for the inevitable battle. The taxi driver annonunced that they arrived. Hikaru paid the bill and got out his luggage which was just a waxed cylinder bag and waved to the taxi driver as he walked up the steps of the estate.
