Team Battle Regulations:
Official (as per the Cardfight Vanguard Wikia):
Clan Fight:
• Both a main deck and G deck can only contain cards from a same clan. With the following exceptions:
o Cards whose effect that allows it to be regarded as part of a clan, such as Cray Elemental.
o Royal Paladin decks, can have up to 4 copies of Blaster Dark.
o Link Joker decks, can have up to as many cards with "Я" in its card name as it wants.
• Fighter's Rule applies.
Extreme Fight:
• Clan mixing is allowed.
o Clan restrictions on the skill text is still applied for both formats.
• Any restrictions towards cards in Fighter's Rule does not apply.
o Epitome of Knowledge, Silvest's date restriction does not apply.
• Sub-Clans restriction on card abilities still apply.
G Clan:
• Only cards belonged to G era are allowed.
• Clan mixing is not allowed.
• Fighter's Rule applies.
Cardfight Area Regulations:
Clan Diversity (CD):
• Each Fighter of a team must use a different clan.
o Example: Fighter A uses Royal Paladins, Fighter B uses Narukami and Fighter C uses Kagero.
• All cards in a player’s deck must be of the designated clan, with the following exceptions:
o Cards whose effect that allows it to be regarded as part of a clan, such as Cray Elemental.
o Royal Paladin decks, can have up to 4 copies of Blaster Dark.
o Link Joker decks, can have up to as many cards with "Я" in its card name as it wants.
Note: This is the standard regulation for most Team Battles on Cardfight Area.
Clan Uniformity (CU):
• Submitted by Denithan
• Each team may use only one clan, but each fighter must use a different subclan.
o Example: Team A chooses Royal Paladins. Fighter A uses Jewel Knights, Fighter B uses Alfred, and Fighter C uses Seekers.
• All cards in a Fighter’s deck must either belong to their subclan, directly support their subclan, or not belong to a subclan.
o First Example: Fighter A uses the “Seeker” subclan, so they must use triggers of the “Seeker” subclan, or triggers that don’t belong to a Subclan (such as “Silent Sage, Sharon”).
o Second Example: Fighter B uses the “Alfred” subclan, so they may use “Swordsman of Light, Blaster Javelin Larousse”, but may not use “Jewel Knight, Swordmy”.
o Ruling: Stride Enablers (such as Destiny Dealer) are considered part of their striders subclan.
Nation Uniformity (NU):
• Submitted by Denithan
• Each Fighter of a team must use a clan from the same Nation.
o Example: Team A’s nation is United Sanctuary. Fighter A uses Royal Paladins, Fighter B uses Oracle Think Tank and Fighter C uses Genesis.
• Standard “Clan Fight” rules apply.
Nation Uniformity + (NU+):
• Submitted by Jai
• Standard “Nation Uniformity” rules apply with the following exception:
o Fighters may use cards not from their clan, but of the same nation.
• A Fighter’s starting Vanguard and Grade 3s must be of the same Clan.
Nation Diversity (ND):
• Submitted by Jai
• Each Fighter of a team must use a clan from a different Nation.
o Example: Fighter A uses Royal Paladins, so no other Fighter on the team may use a “United Sanctuary” clan. Fighter B uses Kagero, so Fighter C may not use either “United Sanctuary” or “Dragon Empire”.
Nation Diversity + (ND+):
• Submitted by Jai
• Standard “Nation Diversity” rules apply with the following exception:
o Fighters may use cards not from their clan, but of the same nation.
• A Fighter’s starting Vanguard and Grade 3s must be of the same Clan.
Alliance Clan (AC):
• Submitted by Jai
• Each fighter of a team may use any two clans from any Nation.
• No two fighters may use the same two clans
• The deck must be and can only be made of two clans no more no less
• Standard “Extreme Rules” rules apply.
