My anti virus is saying the main file of CFA has a virus its called IDP Ares Generic... is this a false alarm or is it something that was unknown, I used the main downloads not the mirror

None of my anti-viruses have picked up anything about the main file beyond Windows itself being suspicious about it. CFA hasn't made my computer act funny or anything of the sort, so take it as a false alarm. You can try white-listing the .exe on AVG so it won't be seen as malicious/won't be scanned.

ok, what was weird is it was fine until I deleted it by accident redownloaded it now it does that, but I was never on it long before since I didn't have any deck lists so maybe it wasn't running long enough to detect it.... who knows , its the main upload not the mirror a friend told me the mirror is infected.......
