I'm positive that sounds would not take up much space at all, it's literally at most 3 seconds long if you include the fade-out. You don't need to "compress" the sound at all, it doesn't seem like you guys know much about the technical aspects of these things.
In any case, there would be a mute button to disable sounds if you found them annoying - I really don't see a disadvantage in adding just Ride/Call sounds, if playing a 3 second sound file makes your computer lag, it's a great indicator that you need to buy a new one.

Though have some SFX like calling a card, activating an ability, the 'in-anime' sfx's of the cards being moved around like to the soul or the hand or whatever, would be nice. If it causes some issues than I'd rather just leave it as it is. I'd prefer sound effects than music tbh.

I wasn't referencing the on-ride or on-call sound effects.  I was talking about ride chants, which have many other issues tagged along with them.

My bad, I thought it was a given that ride chants were a terrible idea.
Ride chants definitely would not work, like you said those would increase the size of the folder by a noticeable amount and would just be ridiculous as kerespup pointed out.
Like I said before, I believe that just adding Ride/Call sounds would be fine.

Kaze Natsume:
Sounds i think would make it lag but if you decide to put in sounds for sound lovers you can always put a mute sound button
