Backstory: Spoiler  Shaun Jason's parent are both celebrity actors in the content of Ophelia. His childhood could be described as typical, based on how kids are growing in Ophelia. (Lessons and activities all day including piano, guitar, vocal lessons, football, soccer, Taekwon-do etc, his parents were all day absent, he grew up with their butler Alfred and he was pretty spoiled by wealth, as the most parent in Ophelia believe Money equals Happiness.)
  Even being spoiled to the world of the rich brats, he always thought it would be better to make his own money and spend it however he wanted. Soon after this decission his talent in Music kicked in and in a bink of an eye, Celebrity Agencies tried to scout him as a singer. Devoted to his parents he entered the same agency as they were, leading him to make the huge impact on world of music. His 1st hit become top in chart just in the age of 20s!
  Although for an unknown reason his parents decided that would be better to leave Ophelia. So they bought a destroyed house in Gonzago, they rebuilt it and sent him and his butler to immigrate there. Shaun, as he believes that the parents decissions are always correct, agreed and left Ophelia to move to Gonzago even though he didnot like the decission...

General Personality: Shin is a loner, he sees no point of socializing in this world that he ended up in, he doesn't talk too much but he always puts maximum effort into his cardfighting skills, he is travelling the world searching for strong opponents to challenge and overcome, this is not without any reason, however, he doesn't intend to reveal his true intentions to anyone  just yet.

Backstory: Shin lives in a village on the mountains of the gonzago continent, many years ago, his village was protected by the great flame dragon with the title of "overlord", the cards' power protected the village from disaster, and it was worshiped as a deity, the Hagakure family was the guardian of the Flame Dragon Shrine for generations, until that fateful day, when the invaders decided to descend upon our world, Shins' Great Grandfather was the Flame Dragons' guardian at the time, the invaders finally reached the village, the guardian tried to defend the village with all his might, wielding the power of the great flame dragon that resided within the cards, however, he was vastly outnumbered, the invaders kept coming, and the village was eventually conquered, Shins' Great grandfather managed to escape with the cards of the great flame dragon, but  ever since that day the cards of the flame dragon lost their glow, and the flame dragons power was nowhere to be seen.
 150 years later, Shin was the assigned guardian of the ruins of the flame dragon shrine, even while conquered, the Hagakure family never forgot it's duties, and kept guarding what's left of the flame dragon shrine and the flame dragon cards for years to come, but then, another fateful day came, the cards were awakened, the flame dragons' flame started burning again, at that time, Shin knew, the flame dragons' awakening was a sign, it was now the time, to take action. On that day, Shin begun his journey to find the other wielders of the cards' powers and stop Link joker from ending this world, he seeks out strong opponents that would lend him their power to end this madness, once and for all.

Update: Shin met the man responsible for the destruction of his village, after an explosive burst of anger Shin fought the man, and Shin was defeated, shortly after, a fateful encounter with the great thunder dragon gave him the strength he so much desired. Now Shin found his true avatar, his true purpose, and seeks to find the man and defeat him, as well as save this world from Link Jokers' tyranny with his newfound power.

Backstory
SpoilerA young boy from a line of fighters that stemmed from before the Link Joker Invasion. As a descendant to the power that his ancestors wields, a power that allowed vanguard units to come alive from they're card state. Until recently, the chosen deck of the clan of his ancestors of relentless energy which was one of the power that was once used to defeat the dark ones that tried to take over the planet, but now shattered to 5 soul fragments and some locked away in the hidden ruins of fortinbras while others will appear to you if they sence you worthy. With the awakening of units of link joker, a soul fragments called the extreme battlers has chosen a boy from what's left of the clan, the boy travels to the many lands of this planet on a pilgrimage to reawaken the hidden powers of his his family's clan .Along with the strongest card of his deck, Exxtreme Battler, Viktor brightly radiating it's power as a sign of never giving up, as the current generation of Cardfighter in his clan ,which he wields his power, is about to embark on a journey to avenge and restore his own ancestry and perhaps even the entire world from link joker.

SpoilerRyu is not the brightest crayon in the box, although its not hard for him to make close friends. He is a normal teen, who with his uncle, and loves card fighting. Ryu is different, odd, smart but special in his own way, he just haven't figured it out yet. His play style is usually based on his emotions, which is very sensitive.
