Hello, hello, cardfighters! The Starfight Duo is back in this wonderful new year with another tournament! For those unfamiliar with us, please click the spoiler below for information on our special tournaments! We've decided for our third tournament to be a Single Elimination Tournament for everyone to come together and have even more fun with our crazy, amazing starfights!

What are the Starfight Tournaments?

There will be SPECIAL RULES applied at the start of every TOURNAMENT ROUND, These rules will be hidden until the round has started for that Tournament. I'll give an example so people can have a general idea.

Tournament Round 1: Generation Break 1 is enabled from turn 1, but once you stride it's gone. (Meaning you can't do GB2 strides on first stride with this ruling unless you G-Guard).

So in Round 1 SuzugamoriRen, Demon King, XSoul EaterX, ReverseDeathX, Blood Katana, Lord of the Undead, Death_Dealer_420, UltimateReaper, I want to die, RulerofDarkness13. All of those players Cardfights will have the following rule enabled.

Then for Round 2 we could have: All Players will have 8 Damage instead of 6 Damage. (Meaning the fight is over when a player hits 8 instead of 6 damage).

Rules aren't carried over, Every round has their own rules to it and will be specified here on the forum when I inform new round has started.

**Special Note: Any card rulings/effects that may conflict with the special ruling of that round will be brought up in both chatango and posted on the "Round # may begin!" post! An example: http://prntscr.com/diriwq**

After being inspired from Trowa's mention of Asia Circuit special rule card fights, We've decided to make a special tournament series called the Star Fight tournament. I'll be referring to these Cardfights with special rulings as Starfights. So I hope you enjoy them!

• Clan Mixing is not allowed! (Exceptions including Blaster Dark in Majesty Lord Blaster and Reverse Units & Dragonic Overlord The Rebirth in Glendios.)
• 1 Mulligan Rule (You're allowed to mulligan ONLY ONCE at the start of the match).
• Match Types: Best of 3!
• The results of all matches should be posted on this thread by the winner like this: http://prntscr.com/dirahv.
• Disconnections and/or tardiness are treated as a game loss towards said player. Any further disconnections (provided with a replay), result in an instant match loss towards the disconnected player.
• Every player has 10 minutes before a match to congregate, if you are not ready to cardfight before the 10 minutes is over, it will count as a lose. You cannot be away during a match more then 5 minutes, and the time will stack. It will not restart if you come back and leave again.
• Announce the distribution of effects! (i.e. Any unit that obtains a critical effect or would via skills or critical triggers must be brought to the opponents knowledge.) 1st Offense is a warning, second offense is a game loss.
• No deck changing/editing under any circumstances whatsoever!
• In the case of Team Tournaments (unless stated otherwise): You may not have two or more players on the team using the same clan.
• In the case of Team Tournaments (unless stated otherwise): The Fight Order will be:
  Leader vs Leader
  Player A vs Player A
  Player B vs Player B
  Throughout the tournament.
• In the case of Team Tournaments: The team to win 2/3 games advances to the next round.

Tournament Restriction List!
Barcgal cannot be used as a SVG.
Flashing Ripple, Odysseus is limited to 2.
Doctroid Lifros is limited to 1 per deck.
Cosmos Fairy, Lizbeth is limited to 1 per deck.
Tick Tock Worker is limited to 1 per deck and cannot be used as a SVG.
Jewel Knight, Swordmy can only be ran in all Jewel Knight Grade 3 Deck.
Sanctuary Guard Dragon is limited to 1 per deck.
Seven Seas Apprentice, Nightrunner is limited to 1 per deck and cannot be used as a SVG.
Steam Battler, Ur-Watar is limited to 1 per deck.
**Steam Maiden, Melem is restricted to 0 and cannot be used in any decks.**

Any form of cheating will result in an immediate disqualification on the spot.

So after a few ideas being tossed in the air, I decided to act on 2 of them. One being the announcement of the rules before registration. Just to see how it goes and give participants some time to practice or get familiar with some of the rules. Probably will post 5 rules and have one extra (in case rounds get extended). If it goes well, I'll add it on as a separate section of each new tournament thread. Also, the rules posted is not in order of when they'll appear throughout the tournament, but just rather which ones will be used.

Starfight Tournament Special Rules!

1. Generation Breaker!
Your Grade 3 or greater Vanguard gains "[ACT] [1/T] [Choose a face down card in your G zone and remove it from the game]: Choose one of your units' Generation Break abilities, until the end of your opponents next turn, that ability may be used." (Recently got errata'd!)

2. Aggro (created by Misaka)
Both players can only attack the Vanguard. Both players Vanguards' get "[ACT] (VC) [1/Turn] Generation Break 1:[Discard a card] During either player's turn, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's units of the same grade as your discarded unit, and the chosen unit loses all of its ability text until the end of turn." (Also recently got errata'd!)

3. Call Me Back!
Once per turn, at the start of your ride phase, you may select one of your rear guards and add it back to hand. You cannot use the rear-guard circle of the unit returned by the effect of this rule, for the rest of the turn.

4. True Generation Break
All Generation Break 2 abilities are active only when you have 4 or more damage, and all Generation Break 3 and greater skills are active only when you have 5 damage or more damage. (The normal GB requirement still counts).

5. Call Limiter!
You may only call up to 3 units a turn but you may only normal call or superior call up to 2 units respectively. (You may normal call 2 and superior call 1 or normal call 1 and superior call 2. You may not superior call or normal call 3.)
