I'm going to agree with this. Just talk over the fourm PM system or the live chat if not then on skype.

Friendlist is cool to keep in-track who is online too :P

The fourm tells you who's online and who isn't (if they have a account here and are in the fourm) and most of my friends are on skype anyway so I know when they are on or not unless they just don't want me to know. It's not a bad idea for people who can't get skype just I can't see it being necessary since the fourm exist anyway.
