Cardfight!! Vanguard > CF!!V Discussion
Would Vanguard be funner if everyone stuck with their clans ?
Kaze Natsume:
I honestly think it would
Sandy:
Stuck with their clans? What are you talking about? Like if you choose a clan... you're not allowed to choose anything else? That's kinda, no offense, dumb not to mention restrictive.
Kaze Natsume:
Nono like i mean clans like everyone can have like 5 clans but i mean everytime something new comes out the banwagon starts up again

I'll agree in the sense that I hate having to wait a week or so until the 'omgerd it's something new! Play it into the ground!' wave dies down, but that being said, it's something new, when players can go weeks without anything new, they CRAVE or hunger for something new and when it appears, especially if it's for say, a popular clan (paladins or dragons) then people will storm it and want to take advantage of it. Some people do this out of just loving that clan, others do it out of boredom and some others do it out of the fact that no one will have a firm grasp just yet on how to counter the new stuff.
HunterSerge:
People play the clans and decks for various reasons, and no one should really be judging people on that. Besides, I fail to see how it would make it anymore "fun". It wouldn't suddenly make popular clans disappear. Keep in mind that all of these clans that get high representation in tournaments also have a lot of aesthetic and mechanic appeal, and would be widely played even if they weren't good. BT04 Shadow Paladin is a prime example of that.
Its also important to keep in mind, that when specifically talked about CFA, is that this program is a testing ground for many people, so there will always be a lot of people testing out whatever is brand new, because that's their main purpose for playing on CFA.
