I was going to type a big paragraph why we should not add rank system and I randomly found this sentence which explains in few words what would happen.

i once had multiple conversation about this subject once and i came to one small conclution.
ive been there where people of higher rank look down on those of lower rank.
when vanguard masters was still up most highranked player tend to ignore me, except the #1 at the time duffman.

but i wouldnt mind a temporary rank system.
i once came up with this tournament idea where we fight everyone that is signed up for a way to substitute a rank system up very few people signed up and even fewer took part.
it was called Royal Fighters.

Signatures exists for that. You can put a sentence such as "4th place in X tournament" and by time you will get some achievements.
