Tempest Cross vs Final Phase

In this episode, our heroes face off against the team known as Final Phase, in a 3 v 3 Guns Single Mulligan Team Battle.

Azure Mistral (Thavas) vs [T-FP] Enigma (Vanquisher)

The first battle is a battle between the forces of water and of lightning. Mistral and Enigma battle evenly at first, with Mistral having to G Assist to ride into Thavas. Enigma follows up with a powerful Stride into VBuster, binding some of her rear-guards and scoring a double heal in his triple drive. forcing Mistral to discard another PG to stop Chatura's assault. Mistral then Strode into Alexandros and attempted a comeback, her field completely immune to Narukami's Binding technique. Unfortunately, it is not enough and Enigma Strides again into VBuster and finishes the game.


SS217 Linus (Gurguit) vs [T-FP] Enigma (Vanquisher)

Linus takes the field alongside Gurguit to attempt to take out Vanquisher and end the oncoming storm. Linus Strides into Gurguit Helios in an attempt to build hand and prevent his opponent from guarding, also building up a field in the process. Combining these tactics enables Linus to push Engima to 4 damage, securing a lead. Enigma, however, strikes back using VBuster, beginning to eat away at Linus' field. Linus holds out and goes back into Helios, preparing for yet another destructive onslaught of power and numbers. From his quadruple drive, Linus scores a Heal and pushes himself back to 3 damage while Enigma damage checked his own Heal, leaving them at 3 to 4 respectively. Enigma then goes into VBuster, again going for Linus' field while increasing his power astronomically. By the end of his turn, Enigma Healed once again and pushed Linus to his breaking point. In response, Linus Strides into Heavenly Law, Gurguit in an attempt to make a comeback. But it wasn't enough, and Enigma wins the game.


RenNeoAkaba (Overlord) vs [T-FP] Enigma (Vanquisher)

Ren takes to the field with Overlord in an attempt to finally calm the storm. Initially both seemed even with both players having to G Assist, but Ren takes the lead by riding Destiny and removing units from Enigma's field, slowing down his bind game. Enigma then opened up with VBuster, sniping Ren's rear guards and pushing him to 2 damage. Ren then proceeded to go into Purge, pushing Enigma to 4 damage and adding to his hand. Enigma then went back again with VBuster, pushing Ren to 4 damage and drawing cards. Ren went into Purge again, pushing him to 5 yet again as well as drawing cards. However, Enigma decided he had to end the game now, Striding into his GB8 Closer Dragon and scoring a double Critical, taking Ren out and winning the TB 0-3.

Tempest Cross vs Team Battle Ships

In this episode, our heroes face off against the team known as Team Battle Ships, in a 3 v 3 Guns Single Mulligan Team Battle.

Round 1: UnoDan (Aqua Force - Thavas) vs Kanata613 (Glenzend Darkness)

The first match begins with the Blue Wave Comrade, Dan and Thavas facing off against Kanata2011 and the elusive Vampire, Glenzend. At first, the fight was even, with both players utilizing their clans and avatars to their fullest extent. After they each Strode once, Kanata goes into Bredamouth and after scoring a double Critical Trigger, rides the waves and overwhelms Dan, giving him the victory.

Round 2: RenNeoAkaba (Kagero - Overlord) Kanata613 (Glenzend Darkness)

After Dan was defeated, Ren steps up to the plate alongside Overlord in an attempt to light the darkness. At first, it appeared Kanata would be slowed due to having to G Assist, and Ren utilizing the Overlord's Legend Form to grab more puzzle pieces for his strategy. After Striding first, Kanata pushes Ren to 4 damage, prompting Ren to Stride into Excend Grave Dragon to gather hand for the next assault. However, Kanata Strides into Gilles De Rias, preventing Ren from using his two Perfect Guards and scoring another win for Team Battle Ships.

Round 3: [MK] Atemus (Link Joker - Messiah) vs Kanata613 (Glenzend Darkness)

Seeing Dan and Ren become consumed by the Darkness, Atem takes it upon himself to avenge his fallen comrades, drawing upon the power of Messiah to aid him. Atem plays a dominant game, using Basaltic Messiah to lock and unlock, drawing cards and building a rock solid defense. Eventually, he grinds Kanata to the point where upon Striding into Harmonics Messiah, it is too much for the dark warrior and he is promptly eliminated.

Round 4: [MK] Atemus (Link Joker - Messiah) vs ZooZuu (Oracle Think Tank - Battle Sisters)

After their wave of Darkness was crippled, Team Battle Ships enlists the help of Zoo and his Battle Sisters to try and finish off the battle-logged Messiah. Utilizing Stollen to stack the Deck and using Ichikishima to try and lock Atem's defenses down, Zoo attempts to push Atem into a corner, but Atem powers through and continues to manipulate his board as well as Zoo's to accumulate power and defense. Despite the Nuns' best efforts, it is not enough to bring down Messiah, Atem scoring a second win for his team.

Round 5: [MK] Atemus (Link Joker - Messiah) vs Kittykun (Aqua Force - Blue Wave Thavas)

With the Darkness gone and the Gun-Toting Nuns out of commission, it rests upon Kitty and Thavas to bring down Messiah and end the conflict. Using the multiple linked attacks Aqua Force is known for, Kitty attempts to overwhelm Atem and bring him to a point where it would be too late to recover. However, with some timely plays and a Heal Trigger, Atem manages to hold out and acquire a grip on Kitty's field, making it difficult for Kitty to maintain his Wave of assaults. Countering with some linked attacks of his own, Atem Strides into Neo Harmonics Messiah and delivers a final, devastating blow, avenging the defeats of his teammates.


Final Result: 3:2 ; Winner: Tempest Cross

Tempest Cross vs Team Battle Ships

4 v 4 Guns; Smull

In this episode, our heroes face off against the Team Battle Ships once more, this time adding a fourth player to the mix. With Atem leading the charge, Ren, SS217, and Dan seek to secure another win for their team, allowing the Tempest to continue its conquest of the world.

Round 1: UnoDan (Thavas) vs Ayro (Touken Ranbu) - Dan wins

The first match of the TB starts with Dan and his partner Thavas facing off against Ayro and the time traveling Touken Ranbu. The game seemed even at first, but the advantage shifted towards Dan as Ayro was unable to gather more units when his skills went off, eventually proving to be unable to Stride for a vast portion of the game. Dan soon claimed victory by Striding Alexandros and chaining attacks together to whittle Ayro down.

Round 2: UnoDan (Thavas) vs Cross and Sins(Battle Sisters) - Cross wins

After defeating Ayro, Dan and Thavas must now contend with Cross, who recruited the Nuns with Guns to aid in his attempt to stop Dan's progress. Utilizing the Battle Sisters' premonition abilities, Cross was able to stack the deck in his favor, scoring triggers to eventually take Dan out.

[MK] Atemus (CBD) vs Cross and Sins (Battle Sisters) - Cross wins

Determined to seek retribution for the previous fight, Atem gives himself to Chaos in order to acquire his strength to fight against the Battle Sisters. The fight started pretty evenly, Atem managing to lock a column from being used utilizing Crisis' power. However, it proves to be futile as Cross Triple Drive Checks three Critical Triggers, immediately pushing Atem to 6 damage and knocking him out of the fight.

RenNeoAkaba (Overlord) vs Cross and Sins (Battle Sisters) - Ren wins

It was now Ren's turn to step forward, he and his partner Overlord wanting to make up for their previous defeat. At first, it seemed Cross was going to dominate the fight, pushing Ren to 5 damage in addition to Ren having mostly Overlord in his hand. However, due to a blunder, Cross was left unable to Stride after suriviving Ren's first Ziegenburg, allowing Ren to easily block his attack and Stride again into Ziegenburg, plowing through Cross' defenses and scoring a win.

RenNeoAkaba (Overlord) vs MyNameIsEso (Vanquishers) - Ren wins

Relieving Cross and his Battle Sisters of their weapons, Ren and Overlord had to now face the fury of the Thunderous Vanquisher and his partner, Eso. Ren struggled the first part of the game, failing 2 G Assists and having to fend off the multiple attacks of Eso. In the end, Ren finally managed to ride into Destiny, scoring a Heal Trigger and taking the lead. Eso then proceeded to Stride into VBuster, binding Ren's units and lowering his offensive formation. Ren managed to hold out and Strides into Ziegenburg in an attempt to end the game. However, Eso holds out and Strides into VBuster again, using a newly empowered formation to try and finish Ren off. His attempt was unsuccessful, and Ren Strides into Purge, breaking through a 3 to pass to claim victory over his electric opponent.

RenNeoAkaba (Overlord) vs Picklezoo (Bigbelly) - Picklez wins; Ren had to forfeit

Having incinerated half of Team Battle Ships' roster, Ren and Overlord now face Picklez and Bigbelly, a duo known for accumulating huge hands and Standing Rear-Guards. After withstanding Picklez and Barrawool's assault, Ren attempted using Purge to seal the game, but Picklez was able to hold out with his massive hand. However, before the game could continue any further, Ren suddenly collapsed as his Diffride with Overlord was temporarily disrupted, forcing Ren to forfeit the game and giving Picklez the victory by default.

SS217 (Gurguit) vs Picklezoo (Bigbelly) - SS217 wins

Now the last member on the roster, SS217 and Gurguit rises up to face Picklez and Bigbelly, intent on scoring the final victory point for his team. The game was uneventful at first until SS217's first Stride, utilizing Helios to gather hand as well as draw into triggers, attempting to push Picklez on his back foot. Picklez then proceeded to Stride as well, utilizing Barrawool for gathering hand while forcing SS217 on the defensive. SS217 then proceeds to Stride into Helios again, with Picklez attempting a 2 to pass, only to fail as SS217 checks a Critical and a Stand Trigger, defeating Picklez and giving Tempest Cross the win.

Results: 4-3; Winner: Tempest Cross
