Team Zenith Lancer [ZL]
Lance Korilum:
Zenith Lancer VS. Absolute Empire
Format: It started out as a normal... Then became Gunslinger. (It's less confusing than it sounds.)
Final Results: 4-2
First Victory. Crying tears of joy as I'm posting this.
Round 1
Snosoul (Murakumo Legion) VS. Azyre (Knuckle Buster)
Sno did extremely well this fight. Even though Azyre managed to put together a perfect field turn 3, it was in vain as Sno's ninjas never had a field for Knuckle to hit, while Sno was able to repeatedly slam his opponent with a full field using only 1 card from his hand as a Rear-guard.
Victor: Snosoul (1-0)
Round 2
Aeon Naru (Perdition) VS. Sieg (Eradicators)
This match.. Was... Something... Sieg was stuck the entire game at G1. Not really much else to say about it...
Victor: Aeon Naru (2-0)
At this point, we change formats from Normal to Gunslinger, just to extend the length a bit.
Round 3
Aeon Naru (Perdition) VS. Kazehi (Blue Flame Liberators)
This match was relatively even most of the way through, but at the last moment, Naru managed to draw his only other copy of Vortex Dragonewt and activate Trinity Crimson Flame, burning Kazehi's field and bringing victory to him.
Victor: Aeon Naru (3-0)
Round 4
Aeon Naru (Perdition) VS. Sandy (Musketeers)
Before this match, I said "I have a feeling Sandy is going to sweep..." So Naru's loss here may have been partially my fault. Sandy was able to remain in the lead on damage the entire game, and was able to regrow her field every time Naru burned it away with ease. She also Vera'd twice, and got a loooot of triggers. Although Naru was able to hold on for a long time and got several Heal triggers, it simply was not long enough.
Victor: Sandy (3-1)
Round 5
Snosoul (Murakumo Legion) VS. Sandy (Musketeers)
After the result of this match, I believed I had jinxed the team with what I had said before the previous one... This game was significantly closer than the previous one, and lasted far longer, but Sandy was still the victor. They were matching almost play for play, but in the end, Vera was simply too much for Sno to survive.
Victor: Sandy (3-2)
Round 6
Gemini (Vortex Dragonewt) VS. Sandy (Musketeers)
And here... After I was ready to think we were jinxed for this TB... The Crimson Flames of Hell redeem themselves in the hands of their true owner, and reduce the plants to mere ash. Despite getting an amazing field with and Vera, Neo Nectar simply stood no chance when Gemini brought out the Trinity Crimson Flame, finally bringing Sandy down, and bringing us our first Team Battle victory.
Victor: Gemini. (4-2)
This Team Battle was actually very close, and easily the most intense one I've ever been a part of. I am extremely glad with these results, and even if we had lost, this TB was simply amazing.
Lance Korilum:
Zenith Lancer VS. La Famiglia di Zi Koannia
Format: Normal with Double Mullgian
Final Results: 2-0
Victory for Zenith Lancer
Round 1
Cheru (Pale Moon Legion) VS. Lucina (Celestials)
Despite double mulligan, Lucina was gradestuck for most of this fight... Though at the very end, she managed to ride her Grade 3, it came far too late.
Victor: Cheru (1-0)
Round 2
Aeon Naru (Nightsnow) VS. Cherry (Prominence Core)
This match was rather close. Though Naru was able to take the lead early through the use of an Early Limit Break Enabler, Cherry was able to survive and counter by getting 2 Prominence Cores called from the deck in one turn. They continued to exchange blows until Naru managed to finally overpower Cherry and bring us victory.
Victor: Aeon Naru (2-0)
Snosoul:
Zenith Lancer VS. New Team Asteroid
Format: Gunslinger with a Double Mulligan
Final Results: 4-2
A Third Victory for Zenith Lancer!
Round 1
Aeon Naru (Link Joker Legion) vs. Koji (Link Joker Legion)
Boy, where do I begin with this match? It was a mirror match between Link Joker that just got more and more rediculous as the turns passed. Both players would wind up having most or even all of their fields locked for several turns at a time, And then due to the Guard Circle glitching out Koji nearly disconnected. However, after a hard fought battle, Koji finally overpowered Naru.
Victor: Koji (0-1)
Round 2
Snosoul (Murakumo Legion) vs Koji (Link Joker Legion)
Another oddball match, normally Murakumo legion would be a good match since its field is almost nonexistent during the opponents turn, but a rough hand and slower start for both players took this fight into the long game. Both fighter's kept pushing back and forth, giving it their best and holding on while they could, but in the end Koji dc'd before the game could complete, and it was considered too close to be able to be called, so Koji declared myself the winner.
Victor: Snosoul (1-1)
Round 3
Snosoul (Murakumo Legion) vs Kaze Ryuenji (Angel Feather Legion) ((Sorry if I mispelled))
The bugs and glitches simply do not stop. I seemed to have encountered a glitch that broke my ingame screen. I was able to continue though, with my opponent and team assisting me in what was going on. Overall, the battle was short, and after an agressive g2 turn from me, A lucky critical trigger, and the Following turns of the Murukumo Legion, Kaze could barely even play rearguards, lest he risk not being able to guard. When the dust finally settled, Murakumo stood victorious once more.
Victor: Snosoul (2-1
Round 4
Snosoul (Murakumo legion) vs Slamurai (Blue Storm Legion)
I don't have much to say. It was a good clean game, both sides playing what they could with another aggressive g2 turn from me, but the next two turns were costly, and after a serious error on my part when I was doing guard calculations, it ended with a victory for Slamurai and his Blue Storm Navy.
Victor: Slamurai (2-2)
Round 5
Cheru (Pale Moon Legion) vs. Slamurai (Blue Storm Legion)
This was quite the interesting one to watch. Despite the G1 lock by Slamurai he managed to hold on after Cheru's aggressive turn 1 and 2 plays to take advantage of the grade lock. Slamurai was punished, being put to 4 damage before he even rode his g2. The next few turns were quite something, Cheru putting on nonstop pressure and depleting both players hands, but none worse than Slamurai's. In the end, Aqua force fell at the hands of the Assassination Circus, Pale Moon.
Victory: Cheru (3-2)
Round 6 (Final Round)
Cheru (Pale Moon Legion) vs. Hope (Blue Flame Legion)
This was an epic fight between two great players. the two traded blows nonstop, even with Cheru being gradestuck at g2 for a turn. It actually seemed like it was in his favor, holding off the opponents Legion by a turn. However, after that it was nonstop Prominence Core Legion counterblasts, and he hit it 3 times in a row. However, each and every time, Cheru Perfect guarded, and the next turn continued the assault, knocking down his opponents rearguards each and every time. In the end, Hope depleted his hand too much, and Cheru took the victory.
Victor: Cheru (4-2)
Victory for Zenith Lancer! It was a good clean Team Battle, despite the bugs and glitches popping up everywhere. Still, we hope to Team Battle you all again sometime. See you on Cray!
Ren «Я»:
Yeah feel free to TB anytime. Always looking for more team battles, etc.
Lance Korilum:
Zenith Lancer VS. New Team Asteroid
Format: Gunslinger with double mulligan
Final results: 0-3
Loss for Zenith Lancer
Round 1
Snosoul (Genesis Witches) VS. Kaze Ryuenji (Alfred/Sing Saver)
Well... Apparently Sno got screwed over by his deck, and Kaze got triggers for days (this is a theme this TB, it's almost funny). So we lost.
Victor: Kaze Ryuenji (0-1)
Round 2
Astolfo (Yggdrasil) VS. Kaze Ryuenji (Alfred/Sing Saver)
Astolfo didn't get quite as screwed over by his own deck, being able to put up an (almost) equal fight with Kaze, despite Kaze still getting triggers for days, bringing him to 5 damage. Then he checked 2 Yggdrasils the turn after Kaze Sing Saver'd him... Yay, loss... (That was sarcasm.)
Victor: Kaze Ryuenji (0-2)
Round 3
Aeon Naru (Some weird Liberator deck) VS. Kaze Ryuenji (Alfred Sing/Saver)
I must not have been thinking right at this time, because I decided to let Naru take my spot in this TB, completely forgetting about his weird inconsistent Liberator deck... Naru surprised us, and managed to almost defeat Kaze, just barely losing when Kaze brought out not one, but two Aremil to form a 26k column, and Naru failed to get a sixth damage heal, despite my best "efforts." (Efforts being bad cheering.)
Victor: Kaze Ryuenji (0-3)
