Cool legions and Brain dead legions.

Just wanted to see your thoughts on some legions and tactics against them, as its 90% of what you will encounter today. So far most legions have their weaknesses and can be countered but I spotted few absolutely brain dead legions which are so easy to use and so powerful its almost annoying.

Cool legions which I believe are not used so much at the moment and have potential:

Brawler Wild rush dragon- I don't know why so few people play this guy, its almost insane what you get from him. THe skill only uses 1cb gets you 10k and extra critical, very unexpected and powerful. Also the chance of getting it if your lucky is 6 out of all cards + possible triggers which you will recycle when you legion ;p Used him for a bit and won probably 90% of duels, also the retairing ability is very useful. Your opponent will be annoyed simply because brawlers can easily retire front row using yojin or skyhowl, Wildfast skill dosent require brawler so you can use rising phoenix. I hope to see more of that in future.

Lightning Lord dragon - Haven't used it but the 27k + 10k buff seems insane. Havent seen any of these at all (same with wildfast). NOTE: Few clans have the same ability of legion which is 27k attack.

Cosmic Regalia CEO Yggdrasil - Very powerfull legion but very predictable. Soon as I see genesis I expect that, block early and don't allow your opponent to soul charge much. He won't get much of that if you keep doing that.

Witch of white snake, Mint - Interesting card which looks more as a royal/gold paladin but looks promising (No one using it at all).

Those are just some of the legions I believe are not used enough and have potential. Lets move on to absolutely brain dead legions which are spammed all the time.
Buish Flame Liberator Percival - Not so much the legion which is powerfull but the clan 'Liberators' which has some retarded rear guards. Its just constant spam of superrior calls and Bruno. At least before they had some requirements to superrior call but now Aglovale is just retarded card in my opinion. No requirements just 1cb and superrior call from top 3 usually mixed up with 4 of these + 4 of farons. Not to mention in 2nd turn when you ride a g2 you have possibility of filling up your rear guard with 2 cb and 2 aglovale. Also the cb are usless for gold paladin except monarch.

Revenger, Phantom Blaster Abyss - It has to be in my opinion top 1 most brain dead legion ever. For 2 days out of 10 duels 7 of them were this guy. A legion which can't be stopped in reality, constantly spammed minimum of 2 per game. I happened to even encounter opponent who managed to do it 4 times. Multi stand with 4 drives and 3 usless retairings. +2k on attack for vanguard. Constant spamm = recycling of triggers so you will never run out. I don't even want to touch this guy because its the most brain dead thing ever. Also the superior calls for shadow paladin. Can't be stopped.

Those are my personal opinions i'd like to see what others have found maybe by experimenting with decks. Not the common legions like big bang knuckle or abyss. Also if you have found a way to fight abyss then it would be helpful.

i can belive sin buster and knuckle buster arnt there yet percival whos potential is isnt all there yet is.

Lighting Lord and all of it's clones they aren't use because of the 10k base power of the g3. The 1k can make the difference in a lot of cases. Plus the vanilla's usually take up a lot of space that could be used for better cards. The only reason you would even consider Lighting Lord or a clone is for a budget deck.

As for the other legions. Well I'll wait till you give your opinion on every other legion you forgot to mention in the game as of this point before I say anything further outside of the Lighting Lord clones of course.

What do you mean by "nobody uses them"? I use them. In fact, they're my fav. legions (well, mostly) or am I strange?

I don't understand what you mean by "don't allow your opponent to soul charge much." considering how all of them are on-call soul chargers. Lol.

Other than that, I just love Oohirume because of how much utility she provides for the deck now. She has so many ways of scaring your opponent by baiting them into thinking the top card is actually a trigger, and so they have to guard more then they have to. Especially since this card is in Legion mode.

Exactly but maybe he meant genesis cards with effects to sc when its attack hits. But no matter what you do the opponent will always reach 6 or more scs. Its hard to stop, basically

I guess only decks that can generate a really big hand can stop it like OTT or Bermuda (I feel I'm just promoting my own clan ) Since Regalia's are practically vanillas until the big skill.

as for shiny abyss lizard , its the same tactic like ceo, guard early and do remember, the moment they use the legion skill means they lost 3 potential card , which also means, pressure and good guard will kill those deck , though its not an easy feat

- one of the few people who mains Wild Rush -

People don't play Lighting Lord because of it's 10k base. a normal VG Legion attack ranges from 20k - 25k, higher if it has a good boosting Unit so you're pulling 20k defence from your butt just to survive a 1 trigger pass. Yes, it does have a high power for attacking but like most will say is it's a Vanilla legion, it only gives high power and that's it. The only potential it really has is:
- High attack Power
- Rush worthy
- Scares opponent
In Brawlers there's so many better legions to use, hell even SkyBeat does more with slightly less power. Everyone plays Big Bang Knuckle Buster now a days so Lightning Lord decreases in use, people who play Wild Rush Dragon use Shotgun Blow Dragon for pressure. Very few may use Lightning Lord but from experience, Lightning Lord is just not worth it.

I guess from experience this is my list:
Under used:
- Wild Rush - I never fought against anyone using this other than myself
- Yggdrasil - fought about 2 using this
- Mega Flare - prob 1 - 2 use this
- Sin Buster - powerful but barely fought him
- Shadow Witches - Not that strong and few use this
Over used:
- Percival - Draw power is annoying
- Sin Saver Dragon ( with Uru, Youjin or Duel flare included ) - 99% of the time this build has mixed mates
- Mint - if its Genesis, it's Mint or Brunhilde
- Abyss - Used to be the craze but quite a lot play this still.

Also about the back up strategy for Yggdrasil, if you can't guard early hope to hell you keep your damage to 3  till Yggdrasil is out of soul, I like to keep my G0 for Ygg and use perfect/QW for the others, they use stands so the chances of critical triggers is lower. If you have bad luck and don't get much G0 at hand well RIP.
