Cardfight Vanguard Restriction List Effective 8/18/2014 (Japan format)

Though I feel even with the hit the deck will still be viable after that hit. But at the very least it would be winning on it's own merits from it's clan rather then back up support from another. (Though I have no problem for tournaments that allow said mixing at the mass.)
As for Cat Butler. I don't feel like the hit was a big deal. It can still amazing even with 2 in your deck but at least people will stop complaining now since it won't be as consistent. This actually opens up potential for even better legion and support for Nova in the future since people don't have to worry as much about Cat Butler. Maybe it could even hint to nova support in set 18? I wouldn't go that far for spoil reasons but you never know.
Edit: May I request this be sticky since this is important vanguard news?

Removing Shadow mix does mean banning Majesty decks though...

Yes it would but I don't see Majesty becoming relevant again any time soon. Unless the revival campaign brings him back.
And even if they make a restriction that would force players to run Majesty to be allowed to run the 10 extra cards. They would just play 1 Majesty to get around it.
I honestly doubt it would be that hard just would ruin consistency by a minor margin. They could also make a rule to allow all other clans to be able to run 10 extra cards from 1 other clan if its in the same nation as the main clan. It would be interesting as well. But the first thought seemed more likely.
Beryl:
Should've mentioned this yesterday when I did it, but I've pinned this thread as an important relevance point for anyone who cardfights under this current list.
Also, I don't think the mixing is really the problem. It's definitely Thing Sing Saver. Really don't think it's very reasonable to allow more than two copies of something that abuses the legion concept to begin with. Seekers have good decks with their other bosses that kind of go unnoticed when this thing exists.
Cherry:
Cat Butler going to 2 is great. I personally feel confirming this exploit with legion rules was a stupid idea anyway. Sing Saver's still doing far more damage than Raizers though, so I'm at a loss as to why it's completely untouched at all. My only guess would be that dropping the number of copies of it you can play would defeat its purpose, but that's the fault of bad design in the first place. Stupid thing doesn't even function like a Royal Paladin in the first place...
Ugh... BT17 gave some more variety to the metagame, but you still only really see Sing-Abyss at the top.
