Hey there. Rem installed a new chat on this forum. It'not that chatango is that bad (but I personally dont like it), but to see mods and users actions, we need not just screenshots, but a chat history. Chatovod do have it, and there is "Ignore" button, so you can just off the users, that irritating somehow. Also, it has more cool design, in my opinion, so enjoy.
Dont forget to leave a comment if you have something to say. I also would love to know if you like this chat.
UPD: There is not ignore button actually x) I hope they will do this later.

I liked the old one better, but maybe i will change my mind when i get used to it. But if it is needed ok i guess. Btw are you a new admin or i just haven't seen you before?

Image sharing is a lot better, the only reason why I'm supporting it currently.
Old chat was more interactive and felt like less of a fossil.

New chat looks clunky and is just a mess in general. I do appreciate how much more can be done with it to be properly modded over, but christ.

truth be told i liked chatango better in overal design, but considering whats been happening the past like two months im glad there a way the admins can see exactly whats going on.

Cherry and Riff Raff, all chats have their + and - . Chatango is not likely even add chat history, so we decided to change it to something else. I wasted like all yesterday to find a good one with needed funcions and which can be integrated in this forum. It's the best thing I was able to find.

If someone has a better suggestion for something that looks like Chantango but has history logs and the like, we could go to that. But if you spent a whole day finding this one, and it was the best you could find, I won't hold my breath. This is likely the best we can get.

all and all we got one and thats good enough, if we find another we will switch (or you know rem will switch it anyway)

This may be off topic but just wanted to make sure it was you on cfa lately lol. Since someone on your team told me you were gonna be gone for awhile so I was making sure it wasn't a fake ( since you have one if you didn't know)

Guys, i honestly think you should go back to chatango, at least until you find a better one. It may not be ideal to moderate, but at least there is something to moderate lol. That new chat is too dead =/

But as for the Chatango chat itself that was on here, I think making a poll for it is a good idea.

I would. When a few of the mods on site don't hate, have anything against me, etc. If I had to guess, I'd say 75% of them currently do.

Regardless of the chat itself, one point still remains: the mods are terrible at what they do and it will keep the place dead, chatango or not.

NickInHD, I'm new here, but from my point of view, there is not a single evidence of that mods behaviour. And this is wrong topic to discuss such things. If you wanna report someone from moderators or admins, head to appropriate topic. Here you can only discuss + and - of chatango versus chatovod chat)

Might I remind of more than a few of your rants that cannot be justified by words during which you weren't banned a single time. I'd suggest thinking of actual facts before posting anything of this sort. We're all fairly aware of who's doing what, and we're all aware of who's blatantly lying to get what they want. Might I also suggest stoppage of the Nacism refference, as it is clear that you either aren't fully aware of the happenings during that age or you misinterpret it purposefully. It'd be beneficial to stop reffering to others as some sort of war criminals, because that is directly fringement of the actual rules that now exist. Also, I have seen the act of your so-called rules, and I'm not impressed even the slightest. Now, if you'd mind stopping the troll-sharade and behave like adults. There's no need for senseless drama. Your chat is your chat, we've no intentions of suspending it. We've our chat here, and if you don't have anything even moderately intelligent to say on it, don't use it and we've settled our differences and problems. And not to forget, people prefferance? I'm pretty certain that's what started it all, but you're viewing at the wrong side of it. Not to mention that there have been very few cases where prefferance decided on someone's fate. I'm the best example you can get. I mean, you're still here, aren't you?
Now keep the discussion clean. You can proceed trashing the staff in your chat, but don't bring it outside of that. You're welcome.

I can't speak for the others' defense or agree. I've heard some stories and why you and others come to accept that, I understand. But that's also why Expy's over here to monitor over the English community more constantly than the other admins and why I'm trying to help. Splitting our community should never be an option everyone's so willing to take with something like the separate chatango. I'm new to this, but I think if we could all talk this out and everyone can lay their exact problems without aggression or offenses.
If you feel the mods ban for no reason, talk with us about it or even Expy so he can talk to us about what we did. If you feel a mod is unfair, just do the same thing. The staff can't get any better if everyone is choosing to hold in their resentment or opinions out of fear of getting banned from the forums. Or jumping the gun and talking about everyone behind their backs. This new chat was so the mods have evidence of fair banning, and the members could give clearer evidence of unfair bans instead of screenshots of 1 or 2 messages.
I just want some unity. I can't say I love everyone in the community but I don't want to log in and see dead forums and an even deader chat because we couldn't sort things out. That's why I voted for Chatango to be installed back onto the board. Everyone likes it.

I agree. We don't have that much active people spliting that small quantity isn't doing any good.

Based on the fact that most complaints and grievances have come out of the cbox and not necessarily the forums (I can cite many more incidents within the past month regarding events on the cbox than regarding the forums), I would argue that perhaps it would be best, with an in-game chat and a forum to talk about these sorts of things, that there no longer be a public chatbox for the CFA forums.
While I understand that this is not exactly the most agreeable position, it's one that comes from getting up in the morning every day only to find out that something's gone down on the cbox every time. All of my messages in my inbox are about things that happened in the cbox, not the forums. I hardly had to do anything with boards, only the cbox.
90% of all of the drama that has occurred over the course of my time being here, whether it involved mod vs user, mod vs mod, or user vs user, took place in that box.
It is not necessary at all for this community to have a cbox if it already has access to other means of communication, especially if having it has only made things worse rather than better.

i think the biggest problem is human nature in itself. in instinct is to insult someone or take the side of a friend and join in saying its all right to insult this or this person is this person so its ok to make fun of him/her. if we all stop these problems at there core and get these people to talk it out then if one person doesnt wanna talk then he is the cause, but if no solution can be found after talking then watch those parties carefully. if someone is causing trouble then talk to them and if they do not accept then they should be removed for 24 hours
the biggest problem in area of the chat is when a problem happens involving a mod people just assume someone is crying wolf on abuse. but its real and sometimes some mods cant help it but believe they are right and yet another mod knowing its wrong they never stand up tell the other to stop it and if there is a problem most of what ive seen is the mods talk between themselves without the people involve getting a word in, again from what ive seen.
i dont think removing the chat or mods is the solution. what we should do is simple really and yet so hard. we must stop insulting one another, we must admit when we do something wrong, we must accept when we are wrong, ask for forgiveness and try to not do it again. if we say we cant control ourselves then whats the point of being in a chat if all you can do is seek problems out ?
just talk it out and watch, because at time goes by people cannot hide there true nature forever. talking and listening can help us understand each other better.
and as for mods ive always felt mods should be swapped out every month and not be mods for atleast two months, something of and election or trail so that people can see who trully might hold the position with honor, but yes that sounds extreamly complicated doesnt it ?
well these are my thought and ideas, sorry they are so long.

You know you could have an abuse thread. Just post evidence of what they are doing and decide on the correct punishment for them.
