It would also be nice if they added chants for cards that have had chants in the anime.
Examples: Blaster blade/dark, Dragonic Overlord, The Re-birth, ect.\

Or the video's form the anime would be even better, rather than just the audio.

Nah, this program is already good enough without sound.

It has a small size, so it's good for people with limited internet connection like me.

If you want a laggy game with a size at about 2 Gbytes, then we will do it, maybe ~

I'd like the riding and calling sound if it's possible. You can always post two download links, 1 for the game with sounds and another 1 for the game without it.

I like the Ride chants idea, but why not make it so you can input your own Ride chant for when a specific card is ridden? It'd be nice if you could have your own ride chant pop up when say, your ace is ridden :D, but hey that's just my suggestion whether it's taking seriously or not i don't exactly care.

I'm talking about the On Ride and On Call Sound Effects from the show, As well as Drawing and Trigger Checks (That Card Flipping sound)

Not talking about chants and what not. Those are just ridiculous.

Sound would be added if you provide us with them. Maybe.

I know this discussion is a little old but have there been any updates on this?
I do think that adding sounds at least for riding and calling would make the game a bit more fun.

Sounds are bad  :(
They increase the size of the CFA folder and may lag the game.
It would be nice if they were optional however

CFA shouldn't be lagging at all unless a toaster is used to run it, and even in that case sound should have little to no impact.
Size is most definitely not an issue as a 1-2 second sound file would not take up much space at all - the CFA folder is already 44.39 MB.

True it's not really necessary, but having sound effects would annoy me. But if sounds could be added I could see people customizing whatever sounds they would like to please their fetish. But it lagging the game is most likely.

I'm not really too keen on the sounds.  If they're overcompressed to reduce the laginess, they'll sound like garbage.  Conversely, if they're good quality, the game will be super large.  While this wouldn't hurt the update patches (after the initial one), it would add a lot of extra weight on the full download.

I'm positive that sounds would not take up much space at all, it's literally at most 3 seconds long if you include the fade-out. You don't need to "compress" the sound at all, it doesn't seem like you guys know much about the technical aspects of these things.
In any case, there would be a mute button to disable sounds if you found them annoying - I really don't see a disadvantage in adding just Ride/Call sounds, if playing a 3 second sound file makes your computer lag, it's a great indicator that you need to buy a new one.

Though have some SFX like calling a card, activating an ability, the 'in-anime' sfx's of the cards being moved around like to the soul or the hand or whatever, would be nice. If it causes some issues than I'd rather just leave it as it is. I'd prefer sound effects than music tbh.

I wasn't referencing the on-ride or on-call sound effects.  I was talking about ride chants, which have many other issues tagged along with them.

My bad, I thought it was a given that ride chants were a terrible idea.
Ride chants definitely would not work, like you said those would increase the size of the folder by a noticeable amount and would just be ridiculous as kerespup pointed out.
Like I said before, I believe that just adding Ride/Call sounds would be fine.

Sounds i think would make it lag but if you decide to put in sounds for sound lovers you can always put a mute sound button

That's a great idea, I was thinking of having a music station where a random player will choose the song they want to play every time the current song ends but that works too.

I guess that works but there still the issue of lag but if they can by pass that i think its fine

I pray on the almighty coconut head, Please don't add sounds, it could produce some lag. If you guys want it to not be quiet while you play, open up a browser or your iphone and play some music

There's already lag on this game because of the amount of people on one server. The sounds would probably sound lagged but not actually effect the lag directly.
